An integrated microfluidic device for influenza and other genetic analyses

An integrated microfluidic device capable of performing a variety of genetic assays has been developed as a step towards building systems for widespread dissemination. The device integrates fluidic and thermal components such as heaters, temperature sensors, and addressable valves to control two nanoliter reactors in series followed by an electrophoretic separation. This combination of components is suitable for a variety of genetic analyses. As an example, we have successfully identified sequence-specific hemagglutinin A subtype for the A/LA/1/87 strain of influenza virus. The device uses a compact design and mass production technologies, making it an attractive platform for a variety of widely disseminated applications.     

Spiro-configured bifluorenes: highly efficient emitter for UV organic light-emitting device and host material for red electrophosphorescence

[structure: see text] Remarkable UV OLED devices using novel spiro-configured bifluorenes as UV emitters have been successfully achieved with external quantum efficiencies up to 2.6-3.1% and emission wavelengths as short as 370 nm. In addition, these large-gap materials have been shown to be effective hosts for red phosphorescent emitters in phosphorescent OLEDs. This result represents the first example that pure hydrocarbon molecules can serve as an efficient host for red electrophosphorescence devices.     

Preparation and characterization of silver/TiO2 composite hollow spheres

Silver-coated poly(methyl acrylic acid) (PSA) core-shell colloid particles were prepared by an in situ chemical reduction method. Crystalline silver/titania composite hollow spheres were obtained by coating the as-prepared PSA/silver particles with an amorphous titania layer and subsequently calcining in Ar atmosphere. SEM and TEM investigation indicated that the size of the as-prepared PSA/silver and PSA/silver/TiO(2) core-shell particles and silver/titania composite hollow particles was fairly uniform and the wall thickness of the hollow spheres was in the range of 40-80 nm. UV-vis absorption spectra were recorded to investigate their optical properties.     

Pd_2(dba)_3/BINAP催化合成1,4-双-(4′-苯胺基苯酰基)苯

以Pd2(dba)3/BINAP催化1,4-双-(4′-溴苯酰基)苯和苯胺反应,合成了1,4-双-(4′-苯胺基苯酰基)苯,其结构经UV,1HNMR,13CNMR和元素分析表征。     

Preparation of mesoporous aluminophosphate using poly(amido amine) as template

Mesoporous aluminophosphate was prepared by using G4.0 poly(amido amine)dendrimer as a template and characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and N₂ adsorption/desorption methods. Results show that the title compound exhibits a typical mesoporous structure with the average pore size from 5 to 8 nm. PPC/SBR并用弹性体的配方选择

利用正交法对丁苯橡胶（SBR）／聚丙撑碳酸酯（PPC）共混弹性体进行配方设计，得到了一个具有良好综合性能的配方。并通过方差分析得出PPC含量和马来酸酐（MA）用量是影响弹性体拉伸性能的最显著因素。     

从蓖麻油制取10-羟基癸酸的研究

本文报道了从蓖麻油制取10-羟基癸酸的研究,发现了从蓖麻油制取10-羟基癸酸的新的工艺路线和最佳的工艺条件,用氢氧化钠用量、2-辛醇量、反应时间和反应温度四因子三水平L_9(3~4)进行了正交试验,发现最佳工艺条件是:氢氧化钠(g)/蓖麻油(g):1.25:2-辛醇量(g)/蓖麻油(g):2:反应时间:6h;反应温度:180℃。在这一新的工艺路线和最佳工艺条件下,10-羟基癸酸产率可达75％。     

氨基酸电位波谱分析机理的研究

本文研究了镍与酪氨酸、胱氨酸、脯氨酸、亮氨酸形成的四组络合物,在pH=10的Na_2B_4O_7·10H_2O-CH_3CHO-NaOH体系中,应用示波极谱进行电位扫描,出现四组灵敏度和分率辨均很高的电位波谱,为同时连续测定多组份共同存在的氨基酸分析方法提出一条新的途径。     

微量元素与中医辩证分型

通过对两间小学639名学生进行微量元素检测及体格检查，并进行中医辩证分型，发现广州市部份小学生体内微量元素缺乏较严重，占体检总人数的62．3％，同时也存在营养不良，贫血、佝偻病，急慢性上呼吸道炎等、按中医辩证分型有肝热、脾气虚弱、肝血不足、肾气虚等，本文试从微量元素缺乏与中医辩证中找出两者之间的联系，以便于指导治疗，提高小学生的健康水平，增强体质和智力。
