The capability of double focussing magnetic sector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (HR-ICP-MS) for the determination of trace elements in different body fluids was investigated in commercially available control materials. The elements included in this study were: Al, As, Cd, Cr, Co, Cu, Hg, Mn, Ni, Pb, Sb, Se, Tl and Zn. Sample preparation, instrument stability and the results, which are in very good agreement to the given values, are presented and discussed. Techniques for the direct analysis of powdered advanced ceramics provide an advantageous alternative to methods using wet digestion in sample preparation. The direct spectrochemical methods based on electrothermal vaporization (ETV-ICP-OES, solid-ETV-AAS, etc.) show a great similarity to the classical method of d. c. arc excitation. The calibration procedure is the major difficulty of all techniques applied for direct solid sample analysis, as there is a lack of suitable reference materials of ceramics. Consequently, it was necessary to verify various possibilities of preparation and application of model calibration samples. The results of such a calibration are compared with those using within-laboratory standards.  相似文献

The complexes of the rare earth metals with 2-phenyltrifluoroacetone in the presence of TX-100 are reported. The characteristic absorbances of neodymium, holmium and erbium complexes can be increased by factors of 8.5, 31 and 15 respectively, compared to those of the cholrides. The third-derivative spectra have been used to eliminate the interference of cerium, and the sensitivities are increased again by factors of 7.4, 5.5 and 6.5. A method for the direct determination of neodymium, erbium and holmium in rare earth mixtures is proposed.  相似文献

Native water-soluble enzymes were transformed into interface-binding enzymes via conjugation with hydrophobic polymers, thus enabling interesting interfacial biocatalysis between immiscible chemicals at oil/water interfaces. Such interfacial biocatalysis demonstrated a significantly improved catalytic efficiency as compared to traditional biphasic reactions with enzymes contained in the bulk aqueous phase. Particularly, polystyrene-conjugated beta-galactosidase showed a catalytic efficiency that was more than 145 times higher than that of the native enzyme for a transgalactosylation reaction. It is believed that the improved accessibility of the biocatalysts to chemicals held in both phases across the interface is the key driver for the enhancement of enzyme activity.  相似文献

A set-up for continuous measurements of atmospheric H2S concentrations in the range between 0.138 g/m3 and 17.5 g/m3 is described. All flows are regulated by flow sensors which are connected to the respective pump by a feed back circuit. The instrument is working in two sensitivity ranges. One is provided for low H2S concentrations (lower than 1.75 g/m3) and the other for higher levels (higher than 1.75 g/m3). During continuous measurements the set-up enables an automatic adaptation of one of the sensitivity ranges to ambient H2S concentrations. The critical step of absorption of gaseous H2S into the liquid phase of the continuous flow system could be stabilised by the development of a new fluid level control system. After numerous test measurements under laboratory conditions the instrument was tested for the first time in June 1993 during field measurements in the tropics. These measurements took place in the environment of natural and industrial sources of H2S in the vicinity of Salvador da Bahia in Brazil. Summary It has been shown that the phytohemagglutinins of maize stigmata consist of carbohydrate-protein compounds and that the carbohydrate and protein components have a fairly strong bond. Conclusions From the roots ofXanthogalum purpurascens growing in the Transcaucasus, we have isolated a new coumarin, C24H26O7 with mp 111–113°C, [] D 20 –164.2° (c 0.97; ethanol) which we have called xanthalin. Summary 1. The peculiarities of the properties of 3-hydroxyflavone are due to the fact that the introduction of the proton-donating hydroxy group directly into the heterocycle leads to an increase in the aromaticity of the pyrone fragment through the stabilization of a pyrylium structure.2. The causes of the decreased acidity and basicity of 5-hydroxyflavone are the formation of an intramolecular hydrogen bond of the chelate type and a disturbance of the coplanarity of the molecule.
