Biomimetic Asymmetric Reduction of Quinazolinones with Chiral and Regenerable NAD(P)H Models

A facile approach to chiral dihydroquinazolinone derivatives has been described via biomimetic asymmetric reduction of quinazolinones with chiral and regenerable NAD(P)H models. The utility of this method was demonstrated by a concise synthesis of the bromodomain protein divalent inhibitor.     

Further Daphniphyllum Alkaloids from the Leaves of Daphniphyllum macropodum Miq.

Five new polycyclic Daphniphyllum alkaloids, macropodumines F ( 1 ) and G ( 2 ), 17‐oxoyuzurimine ( 3 ), and macropodumines H ( 4 ) and I ( 5 ), were isolated from the leaves of D. macropodum Miq ., collected in Sichuan Province, China. The structures and relative configurations of the new compounds – as well as of four known, related alkaloids – were elucidated on the basis of in‐depth spectroscopic and mass‐spectrometric analyses, by chemical derivatization, and by comparison of spectroscopic data with those of known compounds.     

Theoretical Study on the Isomerization Mechanism of Enol Ester from 2-Acyl-1, 3-cyclohexanediones

The present paper employed density function theory to investigate two reaction pathways for isomerization of enol ester proposed by Yang(path a) and the present authors(path a), respectively. The base catalytic effects of solvent triethylamine on these two reactions were also evaluated. It is demonstrated that path B is more preferable than path a due to low barrier height for the rate-determining step.

Selection of Anodic Material Used in Electrolytic Process for Producing Hypophosphorous Acid

Black lead, Ti-Ru and Ti-PbO2 were used as anode and stainless steel was used as cathode The electrolytic process of producing hypophosphorous acid with four-compartment electrodialytic cell was studied. The comparison of some factors, such as anodic voltage, product concentration and current efficiency, of black lead, Ti-Ru, and Ti-PbO2 electrodes was conducted. As a result, theTi-PbO2 electrode is the optimal anode material used, it can be in electrolytic process for producing hypophosphorous acid.     

Reversed-phase HPLC determination of Co(II), Ni(II) and Fe(III) as their 2-(2-thiazolylazo)-5-dimethylaminophenol chelates

The optimum chromatographic separation conditions for Co(II), Ni(II), and Fe(III) chelates with 2-(2-thiazolylazo)-5-dimethylaminophenol (TAM) were investigated. The compositions of chelates were also determined by the HPLC method and thus the possible structure of chelates was given. A precolumn derivatization method was used, followed by separation on an octyl-bonded silica stationary phase with a methanol-tetrahydrofuran-water (40:9:51, v/v/v) mobile phase containing pH 5.8 acetate buffer and 1 x 10(-4)M TAM. The detection limits of Co(II), Ni(II), and Fe(III) at 560 nm are 0.03, 0.02 and 0.1 ng (S N = 2 ), respectively. They can be determined by means of the proposed method without interference from other common metal ions and have been determined in five standard alloys with satisfactory results.     

A novel microwave dielectric ceramic Ca2Zn4Ti16O38: Preparation and dielectric properties

A novel microwave dielectric powder with composition of Ca₂Zn₄Ti₁₆O₃₈ was synthesized through a citrate sol-gel process. The development of crystalline phases with heat-treating temperature for the gel derived powders was evaluated by using thermo-gravimetric analysis and X-ray powder diffraction analysis techniques. The pure phase of Ca₂Zn₄Ti₁₆O₃₈ with crichtonite crystal structure was obtained at relatively low temperature of 1000 °C. The synthesized powder has high reactivity and the dense ceramics with single crystalline phase were obtained at low sintering temperature of 1100 °C. Impedance spectroscopy and microwave dielectric measurements on sintered samples showed the present compound to be a modest dielectric insulator with excellent dielectric properties of ε_r∼47-49, Qf value ∼27,800-31,600 GHz and τ_f∼+45 to +50 ppm/°C. It shows comparable microwave dielectric properties to other moderate-permittivity microwave dielectrics, but much lower sintering temperature of 1100 °C.     

Synthesis of 32‐phenyl‐substituted methyl E/Z‐pyropheophorbide‐a's from methyl E/Z‐pyropehophorbide‐a 131‐ketoximes

Methyl E/Z‐pyropheophorbide‐a 13¹‐ketoximes 2a,b and their O‐acetyl derivatives 3a,b were oxidized with osmium(VIII) oxide to give aldehydes 4a,b and 5a,b , respectively. The Wittig reactions of the aldehyde chlorines 4a,b and 5a,b with benzyltriphenylphosphonium chloride were performed to form the corresponding methyl (3¹E/Z,13¹E/Z)‐3²‐phenylpyropheophorbide‐a 13¹‐ketoximes 6aa‐bb and their O‐acetyl derivatives 7aa‐bb ; hydrolysis of these ketoximes 6aa,ba and 6ab,bb in formic acid produced methyl (E/Z)‐3²‐phenylpyropheophorbide‐a's 8a,b .     

Clean Aerobic Liquid Oxidation of Aldehydes with Solid Catalyst

Clean liquid oxidation of aldehydes can be accomplished using solid catalyst in the presence of molecular oxygen at room temperature, which is a valuable alternative to traditional counterparts.     

TiO2-Al2O3复合载体的比较研究

对用混胶法和共沉淀法分别制备的ＴｉＯ２－Ａｌ２Ｏ３复合载体（ＴｉＯ２含量为０．０８ｇ／ｇγ－Ａｌ２Ｏ３）进行了对比研究，采用的表征方法有ＸＲＤ，ＸＲＳ，ＬＲＳ等，得出的结论如下：两种载体均保持了γ－Ａｌ２Ｏ３的骨架结构，但ＴｉＯ２的分散状态不尽相同，混胶样品中ＴｉＯ２主要以表面富集的形式分散在γ－Ａｌ２Ｏ３表面，这有利于集二者的优点于一体，共沉淀样品中ＴｉＯ２趋于整个体相均匀分散，这有利于相互作用
