The transverse Seebeck effect in tilted metal-semiconductor multilayer structures has been exploited for electric power generation. In tilted Pb–Bi2Te3 multilayer samples, coefficients of performance for transverse thermoelectric power generation have been determined, in dependence of temperature difference between hot and cold sample surfaces. The results can be described well by modeling calculations of transverse thermoelectric power generation. 相似文献

2 Cu3O7 has been observed in “off-c-axis” grown Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 films. The films were prepared by pulsed laser deposition from Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8 targets and grown with a tilt angle of 10 degrees between the film c-axis and the film surface on off-axis cut SrTiO3 substrates. From the thermoelectric response upon laser irradiation the anisotropy of the thermopower is estimated.

The response of polycrystalline Tl–Ba–Ca–Cu–O superconducting thin films on short laser pulses has been investigated for radiation between 10 m and 500 m wavelength. Fast signals with time constants less than 1 ns were observed for wavelengths longer than about 100 m whereas for shorter wavelengths only a bolometric signal could be detected. 相似文献
