The nature of the charge formed in a thin poly(diphenylene phthalide) film was studied by thermally stimulated depolarization over the temperature range 170–373 K. The influence of the strength of a polarizing electric field and the rate of temperature changes on the depolarization current spectrum was demonstrated. Polarizing electric field intensity changed from 3 × 105 to 7 × 105 V/cm. The rates of temperature changes were 3, 5, and 10 K/min. The depolarization current spectra contained three regions. The first two low-temperature regions were interpreted using the dipole and volume charge approximations, respectively. It was assumed that, in the third region, where charge inversion was observed, near the electrode polarization occurred. The experimental data were used to estimate activation energies and the relative charge released during relaxation in the first and second regions. The suggestion was made that the ratio between various contributions to depolarization current could be changed by varying the polarization field value.  相似文献

The influence of nanostructured nickel on the parameters of the potential barrier for conduction electrons at the metal/polymer interface has been investigated. It has been shown that conductivity in the multilayer nickel-polymer-vanadium system changes during annealing of nanocrystalline nickel at temperatures of the onset of the recovery of the structure. It has been established that the formation of the structure with a grain size of 100 nm in nickel leads to a noticeable decrease in the potential barrier height at the metal/polymer interface.  相似文献

The phenomenon of electronic switching in a thin polymer film caused by a change in the boundary conditions at the metal-polymer interface is studied. It is shown that the transition of the polymer into a high-conductivity state can be effected when the metal in which the position of the electrochemical potential changes is spatially separated from the region in the polymer film where electronic switching takes place. This phenomenon is explained using an injection model of the appearance of electrical conduction in a metal—polymer-metal structure.  相似文献

Absorption, luminescence and electroluminescence spectra of films of the unconjugated copolymer poly(arylene ether ketone) (CPAEK) were measured. The interaction of oxygen with catalysts for ammonia synthesis in helium and hydrogen flow has been studied. Various catalysts sorb from 7 to 12 oxygen layers. 2 to 4 layers can be removed by thermal activation in helium, the rest only by hydrogenation in hydrogen.

The electrical conductivity in a metal-polymer-nanocrystalline metal system has been investigated as a function of temperature. It is found that this system undergoes a transition to the high-conductivity state at temperatures of structural transformations in nanocrystalline electrodes. The effect of electronic switching of the conductivity by a magnetic field lower than 500 mT has been implemented in the spin-valve structure in the “current perpendicular to plane” geometry with a transport layer of a wide-band-gap polymer to 1200 nm thick.
