Novel voltage signal at proximity-induced superconducting transition temperature in gold nanowires

We observed a novel voltage peak in the proximity-induced superconducting gold (Au) nanowire while cooling the sample through the superconducting transition temperature. The voltage peak turned dip during warming. The voltage peak or dip was found to originate respectively from the emergence or vanishing of the proximity-induced superconductivity in the Au nanowire. The amplitude of the voltage signal depends on the temperature scanning rate, and it cannot be detected when the temperature is changed slower than 0.03 K/min. This transient feature suggests the non-equilibrium property of the effect. Ginzburg-Landau model clarified the voltage peak by considering the emergence of Cooper pairs of relatively lower free energy in superconducting W contact and the non-equilibrium diffusion of Cooper pairs and quasiparticles.

仿瓷餐具的鉴定

本文研究了各种浸提液、浸提温度和浸提时间对密胺餐具甲醛迁移量的影响.以20％乙酸、100℃水浴浸提15min作为样品处理条件,大于1mg/dm2的甲醛迁移量可以初步判定仿瓷餐具中添加了脲醛树脂.在此基础上,建立了红外光谱测定脲醛密胺含量比的方法,脲醛和密胺含量比在0.1-9.0范围内,存在一个良好的线性关系,相关系数r=0.9968,两个水平(脲醛和密胺含量比分别为1.48和0.11)的精密度(n=10)为4.2％和8.8％,方法的检出限为0.05(脲醛和密胺含量比),准确度为3.9％和8.5％.     

Two new β-carboline-type alkaloids from Stellaria dichotoma var.lanceolata

Two new β-carboline-type alkaloids,dichotomine K(1) and dichotomine L(2),were isolated from the roots of Chinese medicinal plant Stellaria dichotoma L.var.lanceolata Bge.Structures of 1 and 2 were determined on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic means.     

Plasmonic sensing of CTAB in gold nanorods solution based on Cu(II) ions-mediated H2O2 etching effect

Controlled release formulation of pesticides is highly desirable for attaining the most effective utilization of the pesticide as well as reducing environmental pollution. Nano-sized controlled release formulations can provide better penetration through cuticle and deliver the active ingredients efficiently to the targeted tissue. In this study, a novel strategy for the preparation of a nanoconjugate derived from kasugamycin with amino-modified silica was developed. The kasugamycin was connected with amino-modified silica matrix by an amide bond, which could avoid the initial burst release effectively and prolong the duration remarkably. The results showed the kasuga-silica can protect kasugamycin against photo-degradation effectively and the release rate of the active ingredient of nanoconjugate was related to the temperature, pH value, and the particle size (52.5–315.4 nm). With reduced particle size as well as increased temperature and acidity, the release of the active ingredient was faster. This amide linkage of kasuga-silica could be degraded by amidase effectively. This nanoconjugate displayed a better and a sustained bactericidal efficacy against E. coli than kasugamycin technical, which makes it a potential candidate as a controlled release conjugate for kasugamycin in the future.     

Assessment and distinction of commercial soy protein isolate product functionalities using viscosity characteristic curves

To simplify the assessment method of soy protein isolate（SPI） functionalities,the viscosity and functionalities of commercial SPI products were studied.Viscosity value（y） increases with increasing concentration（x） and exhibits a highly significant correlation with the exponential equation y = a·e^bx.The b values of products are gradually enhanced from dispersion,emulsion and injected to gel type.Products with low b values（<0.2）,and high dispersivity were dispersion-type.Products having high b values （>0.4） and gel springiness were gel-type.The other products with centered b value（0.2-0.4）,high solubility and emulsifying capacity were emulsion-type.     

Polystyrene-bound diethanolamine based ionic liquids for chemical fixation of CO2

Polystyrene-bound diethanolamine based ionic liquids (PS-DHEEAB and PS-THEAB) were synthesized and applied for the chemical fixation of CO₂ into cyclic carbonates without any additional co-catalyst and solvent. The effect of the catalysts with different number of hydroxyl group in the cation of the IL on the reaction was systematically investigated. Highest activity and selectivity were achieved in the presence of polystyrene supported diethanolamine ethyl bromide (PS-DHEEAB) in comparison with other catalysts employed. The catalyst was tough in stability and also found to be extended to a variety of terminal epoxides and aziridines. The relationship between high catalytic reactivity and the –OH functional groups was proposed.
