Two series of unconventional triazine‐based dendrimers with C2 symmetry and C3 symmetry were prepared. The newly prepared C3‐symmetrical dendrimers were characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and elemental analysis. Differential scanning calorimetry, polarizing microscopy, and powder XRD showed that the C3‐symmetrical dendrimers display columnar liquid‐crystalline phases during thermal treatment, but the C2‐symmetrical dendrimers were not observed to behave correspondingly. The molecular conformations of C3‐ and C2‐symmetrical dendrimers were obtained by computer simulation with the MM2 model of the CaChe program in the gas phase. The simulation results reasonably explain the different mesogenicities of C3‐ and C2‐symmetric dendrimers. This new strategy should be applicable to other types of unconventional dendrimers with rigid frameworks for displaying columnar liquid‐crystalline behavior. 相似文献

We report two synthetic systems, Cu(Bpy)2+ and Cu(Phen)2+, for catalytic hydrogenation of steroidal haloalkenes in the presence of hydrazine and air. Thesestudies demonstrated that the selective hydrogenation is faster for the 1,10‐phenanthroline–Cu(II) system because forming more stable copper complex are formed, leaving fewer free copper ions in solution. Evidence also supports that the catalytic power of Cu(II) ions can be tuned moderately through the addition of bidentate ligand, Bpy or Phen. 相似文献

We describe the development and application of a differentially pumped pulsed cold H2 and (H2)2 beam source. The nozzle was cooled with liquid nitrogen and, actuated by a piezoelectric valve with pressures up to 5 bar, produced gas pulses 250 μs long. Strong limitations by collisions with the fast hydrogen molecules returning from the walls of the source chamber could be overcome by surrounding the volume around nozzle and skimmer with cold surfaces. As a consequence, the beam intensities for both the monomer and the clusters could be greatly enhanced. The valve was operated without any realignment for more than one year. The beam source was characterized by a number of photo-ionization studies. As a part of these efforts the presumably first laser-based single-photon ionization spectra of H2 and (H2)2 were obtained. We estimate that more than ten $\mathrm{H}_{3}^{+}$ ions could be detected per laser shot at a wavelength of 74.2 nm and a pressure of 5 bar. The auto-ionization lines of H2 were recorded with a resolution of about 0.54 cm?1. A line width of about 629 MHz was obtained in the B←X band system of hydrogen observed by resonance-enhanced two-photon ionization. White-light-emitting T-phase Eu2+/Mn2+-codoped (Ba, Ca)2SiO4 phosphors are achieved in terms of the energy transfer between Eu2+ and Mn2+ ions. All spectra consist of the relatively broad green and the red emission bands, which thus result in a warm-white color with a color temperature of ∼4000 K. With increasing Eu2+ ions at fixed Mn2+ concentrations, a strong correlation between the luminescence and the electron paramagnetic resonance spectra is observed. This demonstrates that Eu2+ doping causes a perturbation of Mn2+ sites and the violation of their selection rules that enhances Mn2+-related emissions. 相似文献

A high-power 532 nm-pumped multikilohertz nanosecond optical parametric oscillator using a periodically poled 1.0 mol.% MgO-doped stoichiometric lithium tantalate crystal that could be operated from room temperature to 200 degrees C without damage is reported. A broad continuous tuning range from 855 to 1410 nm was achieved within a single domain period. Efficient operation of high peak power and watt level average power with a power conversion of 62.5% was measured. In this paper, Hamilton’s principle is employed to derive Lagrange’s equations of an liquid crystal display (LCD) glass-handling robot driven by a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The robot has three arms driven by two timing belts. The dynamic formulations can be expressed by one and four independent variables, which are named as the rigid and flexible models, respectively. In order to verify the dynamic formulation is correct, we reduce the flexible model to the rigid one under some assumptions. In this paper, we adopt the real-coded genetic algorithm (RGA) to identify all the parameters of the robot and PMSM simultaneously. It is found that the RGA can identify system parameters which are difficult to be measured in practical problems, for examples, the inductance, stator resistance, motor torque constant, damping coefficient of the motor and timing belts. In numerical simulations, vibrations due to flexibility of the timing belts are investigated for the angular displacements, speeds, accelerations of arms, and the horizontal and vertical displacements of the robot. The angular displacements of the robot arm and the translational positions of the robot end are obtained in the numerical simulations and experimental results. From their comparisons, it is demonstrated that identification results of the dynamic model with four independent variables present the better matching with experimental results of the system. 相似文献

We have synthesized a narrow‐bandgap conjugated polymer ( PCTDPP ) containing alternating cyclopentadithiophene (CT) and diketo‐pyrrolo‐pyrrole (DPP) units by Suzuki coupling. This PCTDPP exhibits a low band gap of 1.31 eV and a broad absorption band from 350 to 1000 nm, which allows it to absorb more available photons from sunlight. A bulk heterojunction polymer solar cell incorporating PCTDPP and C70 at a blend ratio of 1:3 exhibited a high short‐circuit current of 10.87 mA/cm2 and a power conversion efficiency of 2.27%. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We have synthesized and characterized two new carbazole‐based conjugated polymers, PCDCN and PCDTA , incorporating two strong light‐absorbing organic dyes. These polymers exhibit relatively low band gaps (~1.5 eV) and broad absorption ranges (from 300 to 700 nm). We fabricated polymer solar cells incorporating these polymers as donors and [6,6]‐phenyl‐C71‐butyric acid methyl ester (PC71BM) as the acceptor. At a blending ratio of 1:4, we obtained power conversion efficiencies, under simulated AM 1.5 (100 mW/cm2) conditions, of 2.31% and 2.47% for the PCDCN ‐ and PCDTA ‐based devices, respectively. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
