In this paper we examine clathrate formation in the tetraisoamylammonium propionate-water binary system. We have found formation
of four polyhydrates, two of which are metastable over the whole temperature range studied. All polyhydrate crystals were
isolated and their compositions and densities determined; for (i-C5H11)4NC2H5COO·36.5H2O, unit cell parameters were additionally found. The results are compared with data for tetra-n-butylammonium carboxylate
polyhydrates, and the structure of the title compounds is suggested. It is confirmed that the isoamyl radical stabilizes the
tetradecahedral void of the clathrate hydrate framework better than the n-butyl radical.

X-ray diffraction analysis proved that the stereochemical configuration of interaction products of (−)-menthone with aromatic
aldehydes (α,β-unsaturated ketones or β-hydroxyketones) depends on the generation conditions of intermediate enolate carbanions.
In irreversible deprotonation of (−)-menthone with strong sterically hindered organometallic bases, products of interaction
with aldehydes preserve the 1R,4S-configuration; in equilibrium conditions, 1R,4R-diastereomers of the corresponding α,β-unsaturated
ketones are formed with high stereoselectivity.

A simple and fast HPLC method for the determination of glycols is described. It is characterized by a reversed-phase separation using water as eluent and a refractive index detection. The method was applied to investigate the biodegradation of glycols in a laboratory activated sludge plant and to determine the content of glycols or alcohols in detergents. The analysis of PCB in transformer oils has been achieved with three HRGC/ECD based methods, proposed by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC/TC 10), by the Comité Européen de Normalisation (CEN/TC 19/WG 22) and by the Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN 51 527). The same clean-up, described in the CEN/TC 19/WG 22, has been used for all the samples, allowing a comparison of the quantification procedure only. The total chlorine content has also been determined with X-ray fluorescence. Lead(II) alkanoates with even chain lengths from octanoate to octadecanoate have been investigated by Raman spectroscopy. In the low frequency region, transverse and longitudinal acoustical modes (TAM, LAM) have been assigned. It was shown that LAM-1 is the vibration of the double chain with the node of the vibration in the Pb2+ layer. A fully extended conformation of the chains in the low temperature phase was confirmed. The frequencies and intensities of the LAMs as compared with those of the alkanes and the fatty acids led to an estimate of the force constant and polarizability of the Pb2+ -COO- bond relative to the C-C bond. The defects at the chain ends were investigated in the ρ(CH3) and v(CC) region. For the intermediate (CM) phase, both the Pb2+ layer distance reduction and the chain length independent enthalpy contributions can be attributed mainly to defects at the chain ends. 相似文献

In order to obtain a continuous source of mitotic metaphases, gill tissue of Aphaius fasciatus (Pisces, Cyprinodontiformes) has been successfully employed. Results gathered after exposure of fish to R2SnClpenG, R3SnClpenGNa, to the parents R2SnCl2, R3SnCl and to penGNa (penGNa = penicillinGNa; R = methyl, butyl and phenyl) suggest that both the parent organotin (IV) chloride and organotin (IV) chloropenG derivatives are toxic while penGNa exerts no significant toxic activity.
