Compound [Zn(phen)₃][BDA] (1) (BDA=6,6′-dibromo-2,2′-dimethoxy-1,1′-binaphthylene-4,4′-disulfonate, phen= 1,10-phenanthroline) composes of the anion part (racemic-(R,S)-6,6′-dibromo-2,2′-dimethoxy-1,1′-binaphthylene-4,4′-disulfonate ) and the cation part which consists of a racemic octahedrally coordinated zinc center defined six nitrogen atoms from three phen rings to form an inorganic chirality that can be resolution by chiral organic ligand, the 3D framework was formed through the strong H-bonding interaction between sulfonate and water. CCDC: 277924.     

Solid-contact potentiometric sensor for ascorbic acid based on cobalt phthalocyanine nanoparticles as ionophore

A novel solid-contact potentiometric sensor for ascorbic acid based on cobalt phthalocyanine nanoparticles (NanoCoPc) as ionophore was fabricated without any need of auxiliary materials (such as membrane matrix, plasticizer, and other additives). The electrode was prepared by simple drop-coating NanoCoPc colloid on the surface of a glassy carbon electrode. A smooth, bright and blue thin film was strongly attached on the surface of the glassy carbon electrode. The electrode showed high selectivity for ascorbic acid, as compared with many common anions. The influences of the amount of NanoCoPc at the electrode surface and pH on the response characteristics of the electrode were investigated. To overcome the instability of the formal potential of the coated wire electrode, a novel electrochemical pretreatment method was proposed for the potentiometric sensor based on redox mechanism. This resulting sensor demonstrates potentiometric response over a wide linear range of ascorbic acid concentration (5.5 × 10⁻⁷ to 5.5 × 10⁻² M) with a fast response (<15 s), lower detection limit (ca. 1.0 × 10⁻⁷ M), and a long-term stability. Furthermore, microsensors based on different conductors (carbon fiber and Cu wire) were also successfully fabricated for the determination of practical samples.     

A theoretical study of bond selective photochemistry in CH2BrI

Bromoiodomethane photodissociation in the low-lying excited states has been characterized using unrestricted Hartree-Fock, configuration-interaction-singles, and complete active space self-consistent field calculations with the SDB-aug-cc-pVTZ, aug-cc-pVTZ, and 3-21g** basis sets. According to the results of the vertical excited energies and oscillator strengths of these low-lying excited states, bond selectivity is predicted. Subsequently, the minimum energy paths of the first excited singlet state and the third excited state for the dissociation reactions were calculated using the complete active space self-consistent field method with 3-21g** basis set. Good agreement is found between the calculations and experimental data. The relationships of excitations, the electronic structures at Franck-Condon points, and bond selectivity are discussed.     

Intramolecular alkylative arylation of oxabicylic alkene: a potential diene approach for the synthesis of estrone and analogous steroid structures

Regioselective and stereospecific intramolecular alkylative arylation of unsaturated oxabicyclic diol 6, mediated by Lewis acid or strong protic acid to give the tetracyclic products 7a and 7b, as shown above, represents the first example of an electrophilic (cationic in character) ring-opening-cyclization of oxabicyclic alkene. This constitutes the key cyclization step for a long-standing and potentially useful diene approach for the synthesis of estrone and analogous steroid structures. [structure: see text]     

Seasonal variation and activity size distribution of <Superscript>7</Superscript>Be in ambient air

The seasonal variation of the ⁷Be activities in air and the size distribution of the ⁷Be aerosols were studied by using a continuous air sampler and a five stage cascade impactor. The mean monthly activity level of ⁷Be at the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) site varied from 0.5 to 4.8 Bq·m⁻³ and revealed a seasonal variation, in which the ⁷Be activity levels were high in winter and low in summer. The mass size distribution showed a bi-modal distribution with a higher peak around 0.49 μm and a smaller peak between 3 μm and 7.2 μm. The activity median aerodynamic diameter (AMAD) decreased with increasing ambient ⁷Be concentrations. The mean residence times by using a mean growth rate of 0.004 μm·h⁻¹ were estimated to be 2.5–6.4 days. The AMAD has an increasing tendency with higher relative humidity. It seemed that the high humidity condition facilitated the growth of the aerosol, resulting in increased deposition rates of the aerosols and the low ⁷Be content in the surface air. The AMAD of the ⁷Be aerosols increased with an increasing temperature, but the temperature dependency of AMAD should be explained with geological and meteorological conditions.     

9,9‐Dimethoxy‐7,11‐diphenyl‐2,4‐diazaspiro[5.5]undecane‐1,3,5‐trione monohydrate

Due to steric repulsions, the cyclo­hexane ring in the title compound, C₂₃H₂₄N₂O₅·H₂O, shows some bond‐length abnormalities and adopts a chair conformation. The pyrimidine and cyclo­hexane rings are approximately perpendicular to each other, and the phenyl rings are equatorial. C—H?π and N—H?O intermolecular interactions, as well as C—H?O inter‐ and intramolecular interactions, occur between the mol­ecules. In addition to van der Waals interactions, the water mol­ecule interacts with the pyrimidine­trione ring to stabilize the structure.     

2‐Hydro­xy‐3‐(4,5,6,7‐tetra­hydro‐1H‐imidazo­[4,5‐c]­pyridin‐5‐ium‐4‐yl)­benzoate monohydrate

The title mol­ecule, C₁₃H₁₃N₃O₃·H₂O, is in the form of a mono­hydrated zwitterion. The tetra­hydro­pyridinium ring adopts an envelope conformation and is nearly coplanar with the plane of the imidazoline ring. The water solvate mol­ecule plays an important role as a bridge between zwitterions, forming molecular chains running along the c direction, which are interconnected by N—H?O hydrogen bonds into molecular ribbons. The crystal packing is further stabilized by another N—H?O and one O—H?N hydrogen bond, which interconnect the molecular ribbons.     

4‐[3‐(3,4‐Di­methoxy­phenyl)­prop‐2‐enoyl]­phenyl methacryl­ate and 4‐[3‐(2‐bromo­phenyl)­prop‐2‐enoyl]­phenyl methacryl­ate

Chalcones (α,β‐unsaturated ketones) are effective antitumour agents. It has been proved that having halogen or methoxy groups substituted in various positions of the phenyl ring enhances the activity of chalcones many times. The title compounds, C₂₁H₂₀O₅ and C₁₉H₁₅BrO₃, respectively, were chosen for crystallographic study in order to determine their structures and conformations. In both compounds, the keto group is in the s‐cis conformation and is almost planar. There are weak intramolecular interactions in both structures.     

有机锆交联剂的制备及其性能

随着油田深部调剖应用的不断推广，以及环保要求的提高，适用于深部调剖调驱体系的低污染有机锆交联剂逐渐受到关注。以ZrOCl₂·8H₂O、乳酸、乙二胺、硫脲为原料，制备了有机锆交联剂和HPAM-锆交联凝胶，其结构和性能经SEM和岩心驱替装置表征。并利用正交实验法优化了制备条件。结果表明：制备有机锆交联剂的最佳条件为：氧氯化锆、乳酸、乙二胺及硫脲的质量比为7.8/1/6.7/5，反应温度为70 ℃，反应时间为3 h。交联温度为60 ℃，HPAM浓度为2 g·L^-1、聚锆比为30/1时，聚合物凝胶成胶强度达到24968 mPa·s，成胶时间约8 h，凝胶体系可维持90 d不破胶。在级差为3.9的双管驱替岩心实验中，两管的岩心分流率均接近50%，剖面改善率达到66.77%。     

纳米尺寸团簇NinZrn(n=3～5)的几何结构与成键规律研究

根据化学键理论与拓扑原理，设计了团簇NinZrn(n=3-5)的可能几何构型，并用从头算方法进行构型优化，结果表明，由NiZr组成的团簇原子间的Zr-Zr和Zr-Ni键明显较强，而Ni-Ni的成键较弱，并发与NinZrn(n=3-5)团簇电子性质与有机烯烃分子等瓣相似，原子之间的成键按照强弱相间的规则分布。
