Bifurcations of the complex homoclinic loops of an equilibrium saddle point in a Hamiltonian dynamical system with two degrees of freedom are studied. It arises to pick out the stationary solutions in a system of two coupled nonlinear Schrodinger equations. Their relation to bifurcations of hyperbolic and elliptic periodic orbits at the saddle level is studied for varying structural parameters of the system. The results of experimental studies of the temperature dependence of the low-frequency permittivity ε 0 and the loss tangent taδ of nominally undoped and doped single crystals of strontium titanate at T = 10–300 K are given. The samples were doped with ions of iron-group metals (V, Mn, Fe, Co) and/or ions of rare earth metals (Pr, Nd, Sm, Tm) with concentrations of 10?3?5 × 10?1 at %. Anomalous temperature dependences ε0 T and tanδ(T) were found for a number of samples. The anomalies found were attributed to the violation of stoichiometry of the single crystals under study and the transition of some fraction of Ti4+ ions to the Ti3+ state. 相似文献

By using the generalized method of strong interaction of nonlinear waves and computer simulation, an analysis of the influence of self-action effects on second harmonic generation of an intense diverging picosecond pulse is performed. Using the approximation of strong wave interaction, an analytic solution is obtained for frequency conversion of the laser radiation taking into account the pump intensity depletion, the influence of the angular dispersion effect (ADE), and the higher nonlinearities. It is shown that the self-action effects, the ADE, and the linear phase mismatch can compensate for each other, increasing the efficiency of second harmonic generation. Optimum conditions for second harmonic generation in converging and diverging laser beams were found. An asymmetry of the angular dependence of the second harmonic intensity was experimentally observed and theoretically explained. The asymmetry is caused by the reverse energy conversion of the second harmonic into the pump by the influence of the ADE and Kerr nonlinearities. 相似文献

The modified LAPW+lo method with Wien2k software package was used to calculate the electronic energy structure of CuFeS2 as a component of chalcopyrite. CuFeS2 was found to be a conductor in the absence of antiferromagnetic ordering. Antiferromagnetic ordering in (001) layers leads to appearance of an energy gap and transforms CuFeS2 into a semiconductor. In the GGA+U approximation, E g ≈ 0.75 eV was achieved for U = 6 eV, which is close to experimental value. 相似文献

In November 1992, the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Experimental Physics (VNIIEF), Arzamas-16, Russia and the Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los Alamos NM, USA embarked on a historic effort to conduct a joint explosive pulse-power experiment. With the concurrence of the Ministry of Atomic Energy (Russia) and the Department of Energy (US), the two laboratories entered into a laboratory-to-laboratory collaboration in the areas of very high-energy pulse power and ultrahigh magnetic fields in order to explore problems of mutual scientific interest. The first experiment to be planned was an explosively powered, fast, high-current pulse-power system demonstration. The experiment used a flux compressor, inductive store, and high-current opening switch to demonstrate the feasibility of supplying many megajoules of electrical energy, on microsecond time scales, to high-energy density physics experiments. We study nuclear effects in the structure function F3 which describes the parity violating part of the charged-current neuitrino nucleon deep inelastic scattering. Starting from a covariant approach we derive a factorized expression for the nuclear structure function in terms of the nuclear spectral function and off-shell nucleon structure functions valid for arbitrary momentum transfer Q and in the limit of weak nuclear binding, i.e. when a nucleus can be treated as a non-relativistic system. We develop a systematic expansion of nuclear structure functions in terms of a Q−2 series caused by nuclear effects (“nuclear twist” series). Basing ourselves on this expansion we calculate nuclear corrections to the Gross-Llewellyn-Smith sum rule as well as to higher moments of F3. We show that corrections to the GLS sum rule due to nuclear effects cancel out in the Bjorken limit and calculate the corresponding Q−2 correction. Special attention is paid to the discussion of the off-shell effects in the structure functions. A sizable impact of these effects both on the Q2 and x dependence of nuclear structure functions is found. 相似文献
