Stabilizing and Organizing Bi3Cu4 and Bi7Cu12 Nanoclusters in Two‐Dimensional Metal–Organic Networks

Multinuclear heterometallic nanoclusters with controllable stoichiometry and structure are anticipated to possess promising catalytic, magnetic, and optical properties. Heterometallic nanoclusters with precise stoichiometry of Bi₃Cu₄ and Bi₇Cu₁₂ can be stabilized in the scaffold of two‐dimensional metal–organic networks on a Cu(111) surface through on‐surface metallosupramolecular self‐assembly processes. The atomic structures of the nanoclusters were resolved using scanning tunneling microscopy and density functional theory calculations. The nanoclusters feature highly symmetric planar hexagonal shapes and core–shell charge modulation. The clusters are arranged as triangular lattices with a periodicity that can be tuned by choosing molecules of different size. This work shows that on‐surface metallosupramolecular self‐assembly creates unique possibilities for the design and synthesis of multinuclear heterometallic nanoclusters.

The First Metal‐Carbon Bond β‐Isomer Paddlewheel Pd24+ Compounds

The first metal‐carbon bond β‐form paddlewheel complexes containing a Pd₂⁴⁺ core, [Pd(η²‐dithio)]₂(μ‐dppa)( μ‐SCNMe₂) (dithio = S₂P(OEt)₂, 2 ; S₂COEt, 3 ; S₂CNC₄H₈, 4 ), were prepared by the reactions of the α‐form paddlewheel‐type Pd₂⁺⁴ dipalladium complex [Pd₂ (μ‐Hdppa)₂(μ‐SCNMe₂)₂][Cl]₂, 1 with various dithio‐ligands, [NH₄][S₂P(OEt)₂], [K][S₂COEt] and [NH₄][S₂CNC₄H₈], in methanol at ambient temperature (Hdppa = bis(diphenylphosphino)amine). Electronic spectra and two X‐ray structures of the Pd₂⁺⁴ species have been determined.     

炔丙醇电还原自由基中间产物的ESR研究

Electrochemical-ESR technique (ex situ method) with spin traps phenyl tert-butyl nitrone (PBN) and 5,5-dimethyl-1-Pyrroline-1-oxide (DMPO) has been applied to the detection of radical intermediates produced during electroreduction of propargyl alcohol (PA) at platinized platinum electrode in an acidified alcohol-aqua solution. Propargyl radical and H have been detected by PBN and DMPO, respectively. As a result of the discovery of these radicals, an evidence for a radical mechanism of the electroreduction of PA put forward by some authors might be obtained beyond all doubt.     

Stereoselectivity in Diphos Addition to Molybdenum Complex with Pyridine‐2‐thionate (pyS) and η3‐Methallyl Coordinated Ligands

The conformational isomers endo‐ and exo‐[Mo{η³‐C₃H₄(CH₃)}(η²‐pyS)(CO)(η²‐diphos)] (diphos: dppm = {bis(diphenylphosphino)methane}, 2 ; dppe = {1,2‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane}, 3 ) are prepared by reacting the double‐bridged pyridine‐2‐thionate (pyS) complex [Mo{η³‐C₃H₄(CH₃)}(CO)₂]₂(η¹:η²:μ‐pyS)₂, 1 with diphos in refluxing acetonitrile. Stereoselectivity of the methallyl, C₃H₄(CH₃), ligand improves the formation of the exo‐conformation of 2 and 3 . Orientations and spectroscopy of these complexes are discussed.     

4,4′‐Bipyridinium tetra­bromo­cadmate(II) with strong fluorescence

The title compound, (C₁₀H₁₀N₂)[CdBr₄], was synthesized via a hydro­thermal reaction. Its structure features discrete 4,4′‐bipyridinium cations and tetra­hedral [CdBr₄]²⁻ anions linked into ion pairs by single N—H⋯Br hydrogen bonds. Photoluminescent investigation reveals that the title compound displays a strong emission in the blue region, which may originate from π→π* charge‐transfer inter­actions of the 4,4′‐bipyridinium cations.     

磷钒钼杂多酸络合吸附波的研究及应用

在Ｈ２ＳＯ４－Ｖ（Ⅴ）钼酸铵－丙酮体系中，磷钒钼杂多酸有一个尖锐，灵敏的铬合吸附波，其了峰电位为－０．２６Ｖ，检测下限０．０４ｍｇ／Ｌ，峰电流与磷量在３－５０ｍｇ／５０Ｌ范围内呈线性系，所拟方法可用于碳锰和硅锰中磷的测定。
