The ionization of atoms in a low-frequency linearly polarized electromagnetic field (the photon energy is much lower than the ionization potential of an atom) is considered under new conditions, in which the Coulomb interaction of an electron with the atomic core in the final state of the continuum cannot be considered in perturbation theory in the interaction of the electron with the electromagnetic field. The field is assumed to be much weaker that the atomic field. In these conditions, the classical motion of the electron in the final state of the continuum becomes chaotic (so-called dynamic chaos). Using the well-known Chirikov method of averaging over chaotic variations of the phase of motion, the problem can be reduced to non-linear diffusion on the energy scale. We calculate the classical electron energy in the final state, which is averaged over fast chaotic oscillations and takes into account both the Coulomb field and the electromagnetic field. This energy is used to calculate the probability of ionization from the ground state of the atom to a lower-lying state in the continuum using the Landau-Dykhne approximation (to exponential accuracy). This ionization probability noticeably depends on the field frequency. Upon a decrease in frequency, a transition to the well-known tunnel ionization limit with a probability independent of the field frequency is considered.  相似文献

Above-barrier reflection of cold alkali atoms by resonant laser light was considered analytically within the Gross-Pitaevskii approximation. Correction for the reflection coefficient because of a weak nonlinearity of the stationary Schrödinger equation has been derived using multiscale analysis as a form of perturbation theory. The nonlinearity adds spatial harmonics to linear incident and reflecting waves. It was shown that the role of nonlinearity increases when the kinetic energy of an atom is nearly to the height of the potential barrier. Results are compared to the known numerical derivations for wave functions of the Gross-Pitaevskii equation with the step potential.  相似文献

The crystal structures and packing features of two homologous Meyer's bicyclic lactams with fused pyrrolidone and medium‐sized perhydropyrimidine rings, namely, 8a‐phenyl‐2,3,4,7,8,8a‐hexahydropyrrolo[1,2‐a]pyrimidin‐6(1H)‐one, C13H16N2O ( 1 ), and 8a‐(4‐methylphenyl)‐2,3,4,7,8,8a‐hexahydropyrrolo[1,2‐a]pyrimidin‐6(1H)‐one, C14H18N2O ( 2 ), were elucidated, and Hirshfeld surface plots were calculated and drawn for visualization and a deeper analysis of the intermolecular noncovalent interactions. Molecules of 1 and 2 are weakly linked by intermolecular C=O…H—N hydrogen bonds into chains, which are in turn weakly linked by other C=O…H—Car interactions. The steric volume of the substituent significantly affects the crystal packing pattern.  相似文献

A theory of thermonuclear fusion caused by the irradiation of deuterium-iodide clusters with the field of a superatomic femtosecond laser pulse is developed. It is based on considering the process in which the sequential above-barrier multiple internal ionization of atomic ions within a cluster is accompanied by external field ionization. The theory is illustrated by taking the example of a cluster that is formed by 106 molecules of deuterium iodide and which is irradiated with a laser pulse of duration 50 fs and intensity 2×1018 W/cm2 at the peak. This case is dominated by I26+ atomic ions. The yield of neutrons from thermonuclear fusion in a deuteron-deuteron collision upon the passage of a laser pulse is calculated. The result is 105 neutrons per laser pulse. The mean kinetic energy of deuterons is estimated at 50 keV. Owing to induced inverse bremsstrahlung in scattering on multiply charged atomic ions, the electron temperature increases up to 28 keV. The role of the Mie resonance in the heating of the electron component is discussed.  相似文献

Experimental data are reported on the generation of fast ions in a picosecond laser plasma at a laser-radiation intensity of 2 × 1018 W/cm2. The results are obtained by measuring the Doppler spectra of hydrogen-like fluorine ions. An important feature of the energy distribution of fast ions is a slow decrease up to an energy of 1.4 MeV. In addition, the directional motion of fast ions deep into a target is found due to the redshift of the Doppler profile of the Ly α line. The parameters of the energy distribution of the ions are theoretically estimated.  相似文献

A SiO2 aerogel with absorbed deuterium is proposed as a target for the fusion reaction d + d → He3 + n induced by a superintense ultrashort laser pulse. The multiple inner ionization of oxygen and silicon atoms in the aerogel skeleton occurs in the superintense laser field. All the formed free electrons are heated and removed from the aerogel skeleton by the laser field at the front edge of the laser pulse. The subsequent Coulomb explosion of the deuterated charged aerogel skeleton propels the deuterium ions up to kinetic energies of ten keV and higher. The neutron yield is estimated at up to 105 neutrons per laser pulse for ~200–500 ps if the peak intensity is 1018 W/cm2 and the pulse duration is 35 fs.  相似文献

Simple analytical expressions are obtained for the energy and angular distributions of outgoing electrons in ionization of a molecular hydrogen ion by a strong low-frequency electromagnetic field as well as for the ionization probabilities per unit time. The cases of linear and circular polarization of the laser radiation are studied. It is shown that in contrast to the case of the ionization of atoms oscillations appear in the energy spectra of the photoelectrons as a function of their kinetic energy. The well-known limits for the tunneling ionization probabilities for the hydrogen atom by a strong low-frequency alternating field are obtained in the case of large internuclear separations.
