By dimensional reduction in the sense of Parisi and Sourlas (PS), the gauge fixing term in the abelian gauge of the SU(2)
Yang–Mills field is reduced to a two-dimensional O(3) nonlinear model. The confinement potential is obtained from magnetic monopoles and frame fluctuations. But the source of quark confinement
is frame fluctuations and not magnetic monopoles. Because the frame cannot be regarded as a fixed one, the abelian projected SU(2) Yang–Mills field turns into a gauge field – one group element being with fixed frame , another group gauging the frame . The nonperturbative part becomes a dynamical gauge field in two dimensions, giving rise to the short range linear potential.

D-shaped optical fiber microwire (OFM) devices are investigated theoretically. They can be obtained by wrapping OFMs on removable rods or laying the OFMs on disposable substrates. Optical wave guiding properties of these devices are discussed with numerical simulations. Dispersion properties of OFMs with different radii are studied as well. A grating-based D-shaped OFM is proposed for sensing applications. The corresponding sensitivity could reach 1100 nm/RIU (refractive index unit) due to its large outside evanescent field. 相似文献

A solvothermal route is adopted to produce mesoporous α-Fe(2)O(3) nanospheres by using polyethylene glycol as soft template and n-butanol/H(2)O as mixed solvent. The mesoporous α-Fe(2)O(3) nanospheres are subjected to calcination at different temperatures, and the specific surface area, pore size, and magnetic properties of the as-prepared nanospheres are investigated. The studies reveal that the pore sizes of the mesoporous α-Fe(2)O(3) nanospheres increase with higher calcination temperature, and high-temperature calcination brings about tightness of the pore wall. Magnetic studies show that aggregation of the small particles raises the Morin transition temperature. 相似文献

The homogeneous flow exhibits strain softening for Ti40Zr25Ni8Cu9Be18 bulk metallic glass, which is related to increase in free volume concentration based on free volume model. When metallic glass is pre-annealed above Tg before deformation, the trend of strain softening becomes slow with pre-annealing time, indicating that the enthalpy recovery contributes to strain softening, because the enthalpy of metallic glass will recover towards equilibrium value above Tg, and leads to increase in free volume concentration. So the strain softening for Ti40Zr25Ni8Cu9Be18 bulk metallic glass is related to enthalpy recovery. 相似文献

The room temperature epitaxial growth of CeO2 on lattice matched (001) LaAlO3 substrates by using pulsed laser deposition (PLD) method under various oxygen partial pressure (Po2) is demonstrated. X‐ray diffraction analysis with 2‐Theta/rocking curve/Phi‐scan, cross‐sectional transmission electron microscopy with selected‐area diffractions are used to characterize structural of grown films. The epitaxial (001) CeO2 can be achieved at room temperature under Po2 less than 2 × 10−3 Torr. The best quality of grown film is obtained under Po2 = 2 × 10−5 Torr and degraded under Po2 = 2 × 10−6 Torr due to oxygen deficiency in structure. The epitaxial relationship between CeO2 and LAO is confirmed to be (001)CeO2 //(001)LAO, [100]CeO2//[110]LAO and [010]CeO2//[10]LAO. No obvious reduction reaction occurred, from Ce+4 turned into Ce+3 states, as reducing oxygen partial pressure during growth by PLD. 相似文献

A recently developed partially separable functions (PSF) model can be used to generate high-resolution dynamic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). However, this method could not robustly reconstruct high-quality MR images because the estimation of the PSF parameters is often interfered by the noise of the sampled MR data. To improve the robustness of MRI reconstruction using the PSF model, we proposed a new algorithm to estimate the PSF parameters by jointly using robust principal component analysis and modified truncated singular value decomposition regularization methods, instead of using the least square fitting method in the original PSF model. The experiment results of in vivo cardiac MRI demonstrated that the proposed algorithm can robustly reconstruct dynamic MR images with higher signal-to-noise ratio and clearer anatomical structures in comparison with the previous PSF model. 相似文献

A series of Schiff-bases chromophores containing imine or double C=C bond linkers between the donor and acceptor have been studied by first-principles calculations. The molecular structures, electronic properties and second order nonlinearities were investigated by DFT and ab initio methods. The optimized structural parameters of these Schiff-base derivates showed that these compounds are stable. The results of TD-DFT calculations indicate that the derivatives with the heterocyclic and imine linker have a red shift absorption compared to derivatives with the double C=C or N=N bonds. The analysis of the frontier molecular orbitals indicates that the CN group and the heterocycle linked by the CN or imine group has contribution to the LUMO orbital while the groups N(CH3)2 and the benzene ring linked by the double C=C or N=N bond have contribution to the HOMO orbital. The CN and the heterocyclic acceptors enable the derivatives to have a larger first static hyperpolarizability. However, the compounds 3-{4-[(4-Dimethylamino-phenylimino)-methyl]-pyridin-1-yl}-propanel-1-sulfonoperoxoic acid and 3-{4-[(4-Dimethylamino-phenylimino)-methyl]-quinolin-1-yl}propanel-1-sulfonoperoxoic acid with a substituent also have large first static hyperpolarizabilities due to the overwhelming contributions of electron density of the group to the HOMO orbital, that is, the HOMO orbital were constituted by the SO 3 ? group only. In order to understand the influence of the energy gap (??E) between the HOMO and the LUMO orbitals on the first static hyperpolarizability, we calculated the energy gap (??E) of all Schiff-base compounds. The results show that the smaller the HOMO-LUMO energy gap the larger the first static hyperpolarizability. The present study demonstrated that these compounds which have pure C=N double bond and heterocyclic substitution groups may have potential applications in the development of NLO materials. 相似文献

Ultra-thin magnetic tunnel junctions with low resistive MgO tunnel barriers are prepared to examine their stability under large current stress. The devices show magnetoresistance ratios of up to 110% and an area resistance product of down to . If a large current is applied, a reversible resistance change is observed, which can be attributed to two different processes during stressing and one relaxation process afterwards. Here, we analyze the time dependence of the resistance and use a simple model to explain the observed behavior. The explanation is further supported by numerical fits to the data in order to quantify the timescales of the involved phenomena. 相似文献

We point out at the peculiarity of B→μνμ decay, namely the enhancement of the soft photon events which originate from the structure dependent part of the B→μνμγ amplitude. This may be a dominant source of systematic uncertainty and compromise the projected experimental uncertainty on Γ(B→μνμ). We show that the effect of these soft photons can be controlled if the experimental cut on identification of soft photons is lowered and especially if the better resolution in identifying the momentum of muon emerging from B→μνμ is made. A lattice QCD computation of the relevant form factors would be highly helpful for a better numerical control over the structure dependent soft photon emission. 相似文献
