Relativistic projectile fragmentation of 208Pb has been used to produce isomers in neutron-rich, A 190 nuclides. A forward-focusing spectrometer provided ion-by-ion mass and charge identification. The detection of -rays emitted by stopped ions has led to the assignment of isomers in 188Ta, 190W, 192Re, 193Re, 195Os, 197Ir, 198Ir, 200Pt, 201Pt, 202Pt and 203Au, with half-lives ranging from approximately 10 ns to 1 ms. Tentative isomer information has been found also for 174Er, 175Er, 185Hf, 191Re, 194Re and 199Ir. In most cases, time-correlated, singles -ray events provided the first spectroscopic data on excited states for each nuclide. In 200Pt and 201Pt, the assignments are supported by - coincidences. Isomeric ratios provide additional information, such as half-life and transition energy constraints in particular cases. The level structures of the platinum isotopes are discussed, and comparisons are made with isomer systematics. 相似文献

The 121,123,125,127Sb nuclei have been produced as fission fragments in three reactions induced by heavy ions: 12C + 238U at 90 MeV bombarding energy, 18O + 208Pb at 85 MeV, and 31P + 176Yb at 152 MeV. Their level schemes have been built from gamma rays detected using the EUROBALL III and IV arrays. High-spin states of 123,125,127Sb nuclei have been identified for the first time. Moreover isomeric states lying around 2.3 MeV have been established in 123,125,127Sb from the delayed coincidences between the fission fragment detector SAPhIR and the gamma array. All the observed states can be described by coupling a d5/2 or g7/2 proton to an excited Sn core involving either vibrational states or broken neutron pairs. 相似文献

In one space dimension and for a given function (say such that in some interval), the equation can be thought of as describing the energy per unit volume in a Stefan-type problem where the latent heat of the phase change is given by . Given a solution to this equation, we prove that for a.e. , there exists where is the Radon-Nikodym derivative of the initial trace with respect to Lebesgue measure and are the parabolic ``non-tangential" approach regions. Since only is continuous, while is usually not, does not hold in general.

The even-even nucleus 136Nd was studied via in-beam γ-ray spectroscopy using the 16O + 125Te reaction at 100 MeV and the EUROBALL array. One new dipole band was observed. Together with a previously identified dipole
band, whose position in the level scheme is revised, the new band forms a doublet structure similar to the recently observed
chiral bands in the odd-odd neighboring nuclei. This would be the first case of a chiral doublet in an even-even nucleus.

Two superdeformed (SD) bands have been found in194Tl using the reactions176Yb(23Na,5n) and181Ta(18O,5n). The mass assignments were made from excitation function data. These are the first SD bands found in the mass-190 region that are not in Hg nuclei. The energies of many of the transitions of one of these new SD bands are similar in energy to those in the SD band of192Hg. 相似文献

An in-beam study of the transfermium nucleus 252No has been performed using the JUROSPHERE II array of germanium detectors coupled to the gas-filled recoil separator RITU.
A new technique of recoil-fission tagging was used to extract tagged γ-ray data. Having significant spontaneous fission and
α-decay branches, 252No is an ideal candidate for a comparative study. In a similar manner to α-decay tagging the fission events can be used to
obtain γ-ray data. The recoil-fission tagged γ-ray spectrum showed a similar structure to the α-decay tagged γ-ray spectrum.
By comparing the α-tagged and fission-tagged spectra and decay curves, it was shown that the spontaneous fission originates
from the same initial state as the α decay. This extension of the tagging method allows in-beam spectroscopic data to be obtained
from heavy nuclei with significant spontaneous-fission branches. 相似文献

In-beam gamma-ray and conversion electron spectroscopic studies have been performed on the 253 No nucleus. A strongly coupled rotational band has been identified and the improved statistics allows an assignment of the band structure as built on the $\ensuremath 9/2^-[734]_{\nu}$ ground state. The results agree with previously known transition energies but disagree with the tentative structural assignments made in earlier work. 相似文献

The odd-Z isotope 255Lr, its daughter 251Md and grand-daughter 247Es were studied in two experiments performed at GANIL and the University of Jyv?skyl?. The 255Lr nuclei were produced using the cold fusion-evaporation reaction 209Bi(48Ca, 2n)255Lr at a bombarding energy of 217MeV. The single-particle structure and decay properties were investigated using α, γ and electron
spectroscopy. The ground-state spin and parity could be assigned for 255Lr (1/2-) and 251Md (7/2-). States corresponding to the 7/2+[633], 7/2-[514] and 1/2-[521] Nilsson orbitals were observed. Results are compared to experimental data obtained in neighbouring isotopes and to Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov
calculations using the Skyrme interaction SLy4 and a density-dependent pairing interaction. The position of the 1/2-[521] orbital from the spherical 2f
5/2 shell is discussed. 相似文献
