The helicity dependence of the total cross-section and the invariant-mass distributions in the (pπ±) and (π+π-) final states for the γppπ+π- reaction have been measured for the first time at incident photon energies from 400 to 800MeV. The measurement was performed with the large-acceptance detector DAPHNE at the tagged photon beam facility of the MAMI accelerator in Mainz. Although this channel is found to be predominantly excited by the intermediate production of a Δπ state, both the measured unpolarized and the helicity-dependent observables are generally not well described by the existing theoretical models.  相似文献

Composite PEDOT/Au films were obtained by chemical deposition of dispersed gold nanoparticles into PEDOT (poly-3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) conducting polymer matrix. Morphology of the obtained gold-containing films was studied by SEM and TEM methods. To study the kinetics of the hydrogen peroxide electroreduction that proceeds on glassy carbon electrodes modified with such films, we used phosphate buffer solutions containing addenda of hydrogen peroxide species. It was observed that the electroreduction process takes place on both the gold clusters’ surface and the film surface free of metal inclusions. The rate of the process is higher in the first case and rises with increasing the gold content in modifying films, but in the limit of large gold contents it is limited only by diffusion of hydrogen peroxide species in the bathing solution. A simple theory of such parallel electroreduction is proposed, which appears to allow for quantitative treatment of the obtained results.

Quenched thermodynamic states of an amorphous ferromagnet are studied. The magnet is a countable collection of point particles chaotically distributed over \(\mathbb {R}^d\) , \(d\ge 2\) . Each particle bears a real-valued spin with symmetric a priori distribution; the spin-spin interaction is pair-wise and attractive. Two spins are supposed to interact if they are neighbors in the graph defined by a homogeneous Poisson point process. For this model, we prove that with probability one: (a) quenched thermodynamic states exist; (b) they are multiple if the intensity of the underlying point process and the inverse temperature are big enough; (c) there exist multiple quenched thermodynamic states which depend on the realizations of the underlying point process in a measurable way.  相似文献

By electroless deposition of gold into poly-3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (PEDOT) films, the composite films (PEDOT-Au) are synthesized. Their electrochemical properties are studied by cyclic voltammetric (CVA) method. It is shown that in contrast to the original PEDOT film, the CVA curves of composite PEDOT-Au films measured in the presence of chloride ions reveal additional redox peaks associated with the presence of gold particles. The loading of metal gold particles by its chemical deposition into the polymer film is quantitatively assessed using quartz crystal microbalance method. The film mass is shown to depend on the time of gold loading and its original concentration in solution. The gold particles are shown to be oxidized by a reaction of the first order with respect to chloride ions. Based on the results of voltammetric and microbalance methods, the formation of a poorly soluble gold oxidation product Au(I)Cl in chloride-containing solutions was inferred.  相似文献

The stabilization and manipulation of laser frequency by means of an external cavity are nearly ubiquitously used in fundamental research and laser applications. While most of the laser light transmits through the cavity, in the presence of some back-scattered light from the cavity to the laser, the self-injection locking effect can take place, which locks the laser emission frequency to the cavity mode of similar frequency. The self-injection locking leads to dramatic reduction of laser linewidth and noise. Using this approach, a common semiconductor laser locked to an ultrahigh-Q microresonator can obtain sub-Hertz linewidth, on par with state-of-the-art fiber lasers. Therefore it paves the way to manufacture high-performance semiconductor lasers with reduced footprint and cost. Moreover, with high laser power, the optical nonlinearity of the microresonator drastically changes the laser dynamics, offering routes for simultaneous pulse and frequency comb generation in the same microresonator. Particularly, integrated photonics technology, enabling components fabricated via semiconductor CMOS process, has brought increasing and extending interest to laser manufacturing using this method. In this article, we present a comprehensive tutorial on analytical and numerical methods of laser self-injection locking, as well a review of most recent theoretical and experimental achievements.  相似文献
