The synthesis of helically chiral [6]helicene-based sulfonic acid and sulfonamide from enantiomerically pure 1-acetylthio-5,6,9,10-tetrahydro[6]helicene is reported. The first helically chiral disulfonimides were developed as a synthetic application of [6]helicene-based sulfonamide. This new class of organocatalysts was tested in an asymmetric Mukaiyama aldol reaction to obtain up to quantitative yields and enantioselectivities up to 24%. 相似文献

The physical and electrolytic properties of difluorinated dimethyl carbonate (DFDMC) synthesized using F2 gas (direct fluorination) were examined. The dielectric constant and viscosity of DFDMC are higher than those of monofluorinated dimethyl carbonate (MFDMC) and dimethyl carbonate (DMC). The oxidative decomposition voltage of DFDMC is higher than those of DMC and MFDMC. The specific conductivity in DFDMC solution is considerably lower than those in MFDMC and DMC solutions. The ethylene carbonate (EC)-DFDMC equimolar binary solution containing 1 mol dm−3 LiPF6 shows a moderate conductivity of 6.91 mS cm−1 at 25 °C. The lithium electrode cycling efficiency (charge-discharge coulombic cycling efficiency of lithium electrode) in EC-DFDMC equimolar binary solution containing 1 mol dm−3 LiPF6 is higher than 80%. The EC-DFDMC solution is a good electrolyte for rechargeable lithium batteries. 相似文献

New chiral dopants β-hydroxy ketones 1, 1,3-diols 2, 1,3-dioxanes 3 and 1,3-dioxan-2-ones 4 were designed and synthesized. Reaction of (R)-1,2-epoxyoctane with carbanions derived from 2-(4-substituted phenyl)-1,3-dithianes followed by hydrolysis of the resulting hydroxy dithianes afforded 1. Reduction of 1 gave the diols 2, which yielded 3 upon acetalization and 4 upon carbonation. The syn isomers of 2, 3, and 4 exhibited larger spontaneous polarizations, when applied as chiral dopants, than the anti isomers or hydroxy ketones 1. 相似文献

The electronic structure of S-doped TiO2 with an optimized anatase structure was calculated within the framework of the density functional theory (DFT). For the calculation we built four kinds of supercells; type-A and B supercells consist of 12 and 48 atoms and a centered Ti atom is substituted for an S atom, while type-C and D supercells consist of 12 and 48 atoms and a centered O atom is substituted for an S atom. The supercells (type-B and D) were employed to adjust the S-concentration in TiO2 to an experimental value of a few %. The changes of the lattice parameters are not significant in the type-A and B supercells. The phase transition from the tetragonal to the orthorhombic occurs in the type-C and D supercells. In the small supercell (type-A), S-related states are located in the range of −1.6 to 0 eV, and the S-states are band-like. In contrast, in the large supercell (type-B), S-related states appeared at about 0.9 eV above the top of the valence band, and the S-states are atomic-like. The localization of the S-related states is remarkable in the type-B supercell. In the type-D supercell, the S-related states were merged with the top of the valence band, and as a result the band-gap energy is narrowed by 0.7 eV. Despite a low S-concentration (3%) in the type-D supercell, the S-related states are somewhat band-like. 相似文献

Background
The prognostic implications of late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) have been evaluated in ischemic and non-ischemic cardiomyopathies. The present study analyzed LGE distribution in patients with end-stage hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (ES-HCM) and with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), and tried to identify high risk patients in DCM.Methods
Eleven patients with ES-HCM and 72 with DCM underwent cine- and LGE-cardiac magnetic resonance and ultrasound cardiography. The patient outcome was analyzed retrospectively for 5 years of follow-up.Results
LGE distributed mainly in the inter-ventricular septum, but spread more diffusely into other left ventricular segments in patients with ES-HCM and in a certain part of patients with DCM. Thus, patients with DCM can be divided into three groups according to LGE distribution; no LGE (n = 24), localized LGE (localized at septum, n = 36), and extensive LGE (spread into other segments, n = 12). Reverse remodeling occurred after treatment in patients with no LGE and with localized LGE, but did not in patients with extensive LGE and with ES-HCM. The event-free survival rate for composite outcome (cardiac death, hospitalization for decompensated heart failure or ventricular arrhythmias) was lowest in patients with extensive LGE (92%, 74% and 42% in no LGE, localized LGE, and extensive LGE, p = 0.02 vs. no LGE), and was comparable to that in patients with ES-HCM (42%).Conclusions
In DCM, patients with extensive LGE showed no functional recovery and the lowest event-free survival rate that were comparable to patients with ES-HCM. The analysis of LGE distribution may be valuable to predict reverse remodeling and to identify high-risk patients. 相似文献17.

A rapid negative ion ESI high-performance capillary liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry method was developed to identify and quantify flavonoids (e.g., flavanols, flavonols, flavanones and glycosides). Fifteen standards and two varieties of almond skin extract powder (Carmel and Nonpareil) were used to demonstrate the chromatographic separation, reproducibility and accuracy of the method that employed a 150 mm x 0.3 mm ChromXP 3C18-EP-120 column. All standards eluted in less than 10 min, providing a 9-12x reduction in analysis time compared to existing methods (90-120 min). However, isomers (e.g., catechin/epicatechin and galactosides/glucosides) were not resolved and, therefore, identified and quantified collectively. RSDs for retention time and peak area reproducibility (mass spectrometry data) were <0.5% and <5.0%, respectively. Peak area reproducibility was greatly improved (from a RSD>10%) after the implementation of a low-flow metal needle in the ESI source. Quantitation by mass spectrometry also afforded a % error less than 5% for most compounds. 相似文献

Abstract We studied the physical properties of three series of new fluorinated liquid crystal components and prepared some mixtures by using these components. Decahydronaphthalenes have low Δn with relatively high T NI. Naphthalenes and Tetrahydronaphthalenes have large Δ? and variety range of Δn (0.08–0.21). Moreover, we have revealed that the fluoro- substituent at C-1 position for the naphthalene and the tetrahydronaphthalene ring has effects to increase T NI and to reduce γ1 with good solubility. Then, we have designed some LC mixtures for AM-LCD having good performance with 4V-driving, quick response, high birefringence, low birefringence, wide temperature range and low driving voltage. 相似文献

The blood oxygen level dependency (BOLD) contrast is a useful tool for functional neuroimaging based on the hemodynamic response to neuronal activation. We observed different hemodynamic responses in the BOLD signal between the primary sensorimotor area (SM1) and the supplementary motor area (SMA) in the sequential finger movement task. In the SMA, a stronger initial overshoot and a post-stimulus overshoot were observed. It was hypothesized from the time course analysis that the stronger initial overshoot reflected the activation of the SMA for motor control programming in the initial phase. Although the post-stimulus overshoot may be partially explained by cerebral blood flow (CBF) cerebral blood volume (CBV) uncoupling, its mechanism remained unknown. In the SM1, only the initial overshoot was observed and the level of BOLD signal was almost constant after the initial overshoot during the task period. These observations suggested that the BOLD signal is characterized by both CBF-CBV uncoupling and the neuronal activation characteristics in each region. 相似文献
