To induce degradabilities in polymers in response to environmental conditions, endm odification reactions of poly(α-methylstyrene) (PMS) derivatives were carried out. 2-Phenylallyl halide derivatives such as 2-phenylallyl bromide, 2-(p-tolyl)allyl bromide, and α-trifluoromethylstyrene were found to be suitable end-modification agents. For example, the ω-2-phenylallyl-PMS derivative was prepared with almost quantitative functionality by the reaction of the living PMS derivative with 2-phenylallyl bromide. In a similar way, ω-3,3-difluoro-2-phenylallyl- and ω-2-(4-toly)allyl-PMS derivatives were synthesized. Based on thermogravimetric analysis, the onset of the degradation temperature of the endmodified PMS derivatives decreased in the following order: ω-hydrogen- > ω-3,3-difluoro-2-phenylallyl- > ω-2-phenylallyl- > ω-2-(p-tolyl)allyl-PMS. Actually, the onset temperature of ω-2-(p-tolyl)allyl-PMS derivatives was 50°C lower than that of ω-H-PMS derivatives. These results indicate that the active species is produced effectively at the endunsaturated bond, which initiates depolymerization of the polymer at rather low temperatures. Therefore, it is concluded that a 2-phenylallyl substituent at the end of the PMS chain induces effective degradation through a radical mechanism.  相似文献

Anemia is a major complication of chronic renal failure. To treat this anemia, prolylhydroxylase domain enzyme (PHD) inhibitors as well as erythropoiesis-stimulating agents (ESAs) have been used. Although PHD inhibitors rapidly stimulate erythropoietin (Epo) production, the precise sites of Epo production following the administration of these drugs have not been identified. We developed a novel method for the detection of the Epo protein that employs deglycosylation-coupled Western blotting. With protein deglycosylation, tissue Epo contents can be quantified over an extremely wide range. Using this method, we examined the effects of the PHD inhibitor, Roxadustat (ROX), and severe hypoxia on Epo production in various tissues in rats. We observed that ROX increased Epo mRNA expression in both the kidneys and liver. However, Epo protein was detected in the kidneys but not in the liver. Epo protein was also detected in the salivary glands, spleen, epididymis and ovaries. However, both PHD inhibitors (ROX) and severe hypoxia increased the Epo protein abundance only in the kidneys. These data show that, while Epo is produced in many tissues, PHD inhibitors as well as severe hypoxia regulate Epo production only in the kidneys.  相似文献

Thomsonite with ideal chemical composition and with an ordered framework structure was synthesised hydrothermally from zeolite Na?A, which was ground to X-ray amorphous, with 0.05 mol dm?3 CaCl2 solution at 200°C. The dehydration behaviour of the prepared thomsonite was examined by TG-DTA. It was revealed that thomsonite lost most of zeolitic water below 450°C in three steps at about 180°, 340° and 390°C. The peak profiles of, the two higher-temperature endotherms were sharp and similar, and the weight loss at each step was approximately equal.  相似文献

The direct oxidation of unprotected amino alcohols to their corresponding amino carbonyl compounds has often posed serious challenges in organic synthesis and has constrained chemists to adopting an indirect route, such as a protection/deprotection strategy, to attain their goal. Described herein is a highly chemoselective aerobic oxidation of unprotected amino alcohols to their amino carbonyl compounds in which 2‐azaadamantane N‐oxyl (AZADO)/copper catalysis is used. The catalytic system developed leads to the alcohol‐selective oxidation of various unprotected amino alcohols, carrying a primary, secondary, or tertiary amino group, in good to high yield at ambient temperature with exposure to air, thus offering flexibility in the synthesis of nitrogen‐containing compounds.  相似文献

Highly charged ions (HCIs) have huge potential energy due to their high charge state. When a HCI reaches a solid surface, its potential energy is released immediately on the surface to cause a nano-scale defect. Thus, HCIs are expected to be useful for solid-surface modifications on the nano-scale. We investigate the defects on a highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) surface induced by slow highly charged Ar^q+ ions with impact energy of 20-2000qeV with scanning probe microscopy (SPM). In order to clarify the role of kinetic and potential energies in surface modification, the nano-defects are characterized in lateral size and height corresponding to the kinetic energy and charge state of the HCIs. Both the potential energy and kinetic energy of the ions may influence the size of nano-defect. Since potential energy increases dramatically with increasing charge state, the potential energy effect is expected to be much larger than the kinetic energy effect in the case of extremely high charge states. This implies that pure surface modification on the nano-scale could be carried out by slow highly charged ions. The mean size of nano-defect region could also be controlled by selecting the charge state and kinetic energy of HCI.  相似文献

We search for the most fundamental kaonic nuclear state, K ??? pp by employing the reaction p?+?pK ?+??+?X at 3.0 GeV incident beam energy. The experiment makes use of the SIS-18 synchrotron and the ~4π acceptance FOPI apparatus in the cave-B at the GSI, Darmstadt, Germany and aims to collect full kinematics information of the reaction. We look for a signature of the X (?≡?K ??? pp) in both missing mass spectrum by measuring K ?+?, and invariant mass spectrum by measuring decay particles; X?→?Λ?+?p.
