Inertial detection of noise using a Schottky diode with δ-doping

We investigated the simplest statistical characteristics of a process after inertial detection of noise using a Schottky diode with ??-doping.     

Photoelectric properties of CdS films with nanostructured surfaces

The results from studying the photoelectric properties of CdS films with nanostructured surfaces and synthesized via pyrolysis of thiourea coordination compounds are presented. It is shown that the photocurrent limiting effect is observed in the studied structures at higher intensities of the excitation light. This effect, which is attributable to the optical smoothing of nonuniform barrier relief, could find practical application in optoelectronics.     

New method for measuring the IR surface impedance of metals

A method for measuring the IR optical properties of metals, which implies the analysis of the angular distribution of the photons emitted from the edge of a metal plate due to the conversion of thermal surface plasmons, has been theoretically and experimentally shown. In this work an increased accuracy of the proposed method in the IR region is demonstrated in comparison with more conventional methods based on the Fresnel formulas. This conclusion is supported experimentally with data obtained from the surface impedance measurement of copper in the range from 8 to 9 μm at 185°C.     

Composition of the essential oil ofSalvia garedzhii. Terpenoids and sesquiterpene hydrocarbons

The composition of the terpenoid and sesquiterpene hydrocarbon fraction ofSalvia garedzhii has been studied by chromato-mass spectrometry. A total of 19 compounds have been identified and a provisional assignment of another 6 components has been made.     

NMR determination of the composition of balsams from scotch pine resin

We have used ¹H and ¹³C NMR spectroscopy to study the composition of pine resin balsams from Scotch pines grown in different regions of the Republic of Belarus. We have established that their chemical composition does not depend very much on the region where they are grown or the level of contamination of the forests by radioactive and industrial emissions.
