A linearized optimal control method in combination with mixed quantum/classical molecular dynamics simulation is used for numerically investigating the possibility of controlling photodissociation wave packets of I(2)(-) in water. Optimal pulses are designed using an ensemble of photodissociation samples, aiming at the creation of localized dissociation wave packets. Numerical results clearly show the effectiveness of the control although the control achievement is reduced with an increase in the internuclear distance associated with a target region. We introduce effective optimal pulses that are designed using a statistically averaged effective dissociation potential, and show that they semiquantitatively reproduce the control achievements calculated by using optimal pulses. The control mechanisms are interpreted from the time- and frequency-resolved spectra of the effective optimal pulses.  相似文献

The reaction of lithium ester enolate with enones provides a challenge for chemoselectivity, that is, discrimination between a conjugate addition and a 1,2-addition. Asymmetric conjugate addition of a lithium enolate of alpha-trimethylsilanylacetate to acyclic and cyclic alpha,beta-unsaturated ketones was mediated by an external chiral ligand to give the corresponding 1,4-adducts in good enantioselectivity of 74% and good chemoselectivity.  相似文献

Broadband, time-resolved optical waveguide (OWG) spectroscopy has been used for in situ, real-time investigation into the self-assembly of metal nanoparticle monolayers. The OWG spectroscopy makes it possible to use the transverse electric (TE) and transverse magnetic (TM) modes to measure surface plasmon absorption of immobilized metal nanoparticles in two directions, parallel and normal to the waveguide surface. Therefore, this technique can provide direction-dependent information on the metal nanoparticles at the interface. In this paper, a 50-microm-thick glass plate was used as a slab waveguide and the kinetics of Au nanoparticle adsorption on a hemoglobin-functionalized glass substrate was examined in the early stage of self-assembly. The findings show that with the TE mode the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) behavior for immobilized Au nanoparticles is different from that with the TM mode.  相似文献

Small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) is measured for the lamellar phase in aqueous systems of 1-o-β-3,7-dimethyoctyl-D-glucopyranoside (β-Glc(Ger)), which has recently been prepared by us, 1-o-β-decyl-D-glucopyranoside (β-GlcC10), and 1-o-β-octyl-D-glucopyranoside (β-GlcC8). The repeat distance d obtained from the position of the diffraction peak does not follow the swelling law d = 2δhc/hc, where δhc and hc are the thickness and the volume fraction of the hydrophobic layer, respectively. This may result from the fact that δhc increases and, equivalently, the surface area per surfactant molecule (as) decreases with increasing concentration. So we calculate δhc and as from the observed d value at each concentration using the above swelling law. The half-thickness δhc increases in the order β-GlcC8 < β-Glc(Ger) < β-GlcC10 at a fixed concentration. On the other hand, the data on as for β-GlcC10 and β-GlcC8 lie on the same line and the data for β-Glc(Ger) lies above this line. These results suggest that the cross-sectional area of the geranyl chain is larger than that of the glucose headgroup. Existence of water filled defects in bilayer sheets is also discussed based on the SAXS pattern and the concentration dependence of d.  相似文献

Hydroxyapatite is mineralized along the long axis of collagen fiber during osteogenesis. Mimicking such biomineralization has great potential to control inorganic structures and is fast becoming an important next-generation inorganic synthesis method. Inorganic matter synthesized by biomineralization can have beautiful and functional structures that cannot be created artificially. In this study, we applied biomineralization to the synthesis of the only photocatalyst in practical use today, titanium dioxide (TiO(2)). The photocatalytic activity of TiO(2) mainly relates to three properties: morphology, crystal phase, and light-use efficiency. To optimize TiO(2) morphology, we used a simple sequential peptide as an organic template. TiO(2) mineralized by a β-sheet peptide nanofiber template forms fiber-like shapes that are not observed for mineralization by peptides in the shape of random coils. To optimize TiO(2) crystal phase, we mineralized TiO(2) with the template at 400 °C to transform it into the rutile phase and at 700 °C to transform it into a mixed phase of anatase and rutile. To optimize light-use efficiency, we introduced nitrogen atoms of the peptide into the TiO(2) structure as doped elemental material during sintering. Thus, this biomineralization method enables control of inorganic morphology, crystal phase, and light-use efficiency in a single process.  相似文献

Dinuclear complexes [{Pt(trpy)}(2)(L)](PF(6))(2) (trpy = 2,2':6',2'-terpyridine, L = 2-octylthio-1,3,5-triazine-4,6-dithiolate ion (1), L = 2-octadecylthio-1,3,5-triazine-4,6-dithiolate ion (2), L = 2-di-n-butylamino-1,3,5-triazine-4,6-dithiolate ion (3)) and a trinuclear complex [{Pt(trpy)}(3)(L)](PF(6))(3) (L = 1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-trithiolate ion (4)) have been synthesized and characterized. The single crystal X-ray analysis revealed that the two {Pt(trpy)}(2+) fragments in 1 and 3 adopt a syn-configuration. The PtPt distances are around 4.3 ?, suggesting no intramolecular PtPt interactions. Complexes 1-4 in acetonitrile show broad absorption bands at around 470 nm, assigned to mainly the ligand-to-ligand charge transfer ((1)LLCT) from triazine thiolates to trpy based on the comparison to the related complexes and the density functional theory (DFT) calculations. The red luminescence of 1-4 in acetonitrile is attributable to emission predominantly from (3)LLCT. Cyclic voltammograms of 1-3 exhibit four redox couples from -2.0 V to 0 V vs. Ag/AgCl. The two consecutive processes at around -0.70 V are assigned to the sequential reduction of two trpy ligands. This assignment was further supported by the observation of the anion radical of trpy in spectroelectrochemical experiments. The splitting of the redox potentials of two trpy ligands evidences the moderate electronic coupling interactions mediated by the triazine dithiolate bridges. Complex 2 formed a transparent red gel in CH(3)CN, whereas 4 produced a gel-like solid in the mixtures of CH(3)CN and other solvents. The interactions dominating the aggregative behaviours have been discussed based on the results of electronic absorption and emission spectroscopy.  相似文献

We have synthesized and characterized homogeneous solid-solution alloy nanoparticles of Pd and Rh, which are immiscible with each other in the equilibrium bulk state at around room temperature. The Pd-Rh alloy nanoparticles can absorb hydrogen at ambient pressure and the hydrogen pressure of Pd-Rh alloys for hydrogen storage is dramatically decreased by more than 4 orders of magnitude from the corresponding pressure in the metastable bulk state. The solid-solution state is still maintained in the nanoparticles even after hydrogen absorption/desorption, in contrast to the metastable bulks which are separated into Pd and Rh during the process.  相似文献
