The root growth mode of extremely dense and vertically aligned single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) synthesized by microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition was clarified by a new method, marker growth, which does not require transmission electron microscopy. SWNT layers were grown intermittently on a substrate, and a line between the layers was used as a marker to identify the growth mode. Micro-Raman spectroscopy revealed that the SWNT layers have the same diameter distribution. 相似文献

Zn(OH)2‐catalyzed allylation reactions of aldehydes with allylboronates in aqueous media have been developed. In contrast to conventional allylboration reactions of aldehydes in organic solvents, the α‐addition products were obtained exclusively. A catalytic cycle in which the allylzinc species was generated through a B‐to‐Zn exchange process is proposed and kinetic studies were performed. The key intermediate, an allylzinc species, was detected by HRMS (ESI) analysis and by online continuous MS (ESI) analysis. This analysis revealed that, in aqueous media, the allylzinc species competitively reacted with the aldehydes and water. An investigation of the reactivity and selectivity of the allylzinc species by using several typical allylboronates ( 6a , 6b , 6c , 6d ) clarified several important roles of water in this allylation reaction. The allylation reactions of aldehydes with allylboronic acid 2,2‐dimethyl‐1,3‐propanediol esters proceeded smoothly in the presence of catalytic amounts of Zn(OH)2 and achiral ligand 4d in aqueous media to afford the corresponding syn‐adducts in high yields with high diastereoselectivities. In all cases, the α‐addition products were obtained and a wide substrate scope was tolerated. Furthermore, this reaction was applied to asymmetric catalysis by using chiral ligand 9 . Based on the X‐ray structure of the Zn‐ 9 complex, several nonsymmetrical chiral ligands were also found to be effective. This reaction was further applied to catalytic asymmetric alkylallylation, chloroallylation, and alkoxyallylation processes and the synthetic utility of these reactions has been demonstrated. 相似文献

Bicyclic 3aH-cyclopentene[8]annulene-1,4-(5H,9aH)-diones underwent three types of acid-induced transannular reactions, Michael cyclization, [3 + 2] cycloaddition, and Friedel-Crafts ipso-alkylation, depending on the cyclopentenone ring substituent (Me or Ph) and the position of [8]annulenone substituent as well as the nature of acids (BF3, MeSO3H, CF3SO3H). The Me-substituent permitted the Michael reaction for all acids used to give tricyclic diones by the activation of cyclopentenone carbonyl group. However, the Ph-substituent inhibited the Michael reaction for BF3 and MeSO3H but allowed the [3 + 2] cycloaddition and Friedel-Crafts reaction for CF3SO3H depending on the position of annulenone substituent. These CF3SO3H reactions exhibited the following novel rearrangements, affording 2-naphthalenone and 7-acenaphthylene derivatives, respectively. The factors that control the reaction mode of these transannular cyclizations were discussed in view of the constraint twist-boat conformation of [8]annulenone ring as well as the ring substituent effects on the intramolecular cyclization. In addition, these [8]annulenone rings were found to easily undergo the intramolecular [2 + 2] photocyclization to provide the tetracyclic cage compounds which exhibited the facile cycloreversion under the influence of acid. 相似文献

This work reports the novel reactivity of hemiaminal as a precursor for indole editing at the multi-site. The HFIP-promoted indole editing of indoline hemiaminals affords 2-arylindoles through a ring-switch sequence. The key to success of this transformation is to use a cyclic hemiaminal as an α-amino aldehyde surrogate under transient tautomeric control. This transformation features mild reaction conditions and good yields with broad functional group tolerance. A simulation method for correlating the resistivity and resistance of sparse carbon nanotube (CNT) networks via atomic force microscopy images was proposed. For the demonstration, resistance values simulated by this method were compared with values obtained by directory measuring the resistance of sparse CNT networks. Results were also compared with those obtained by a thin-film approximation in which CNT networks are approximated as thin rectangles. Simulated resistance values were closer to the experimental values of the same samples than those estimated on the basis of the thin-film approximation. The use of atomic force microscopy (AFM) images enabled the implementation of inhomogeneity to numerical models, as well as one-to-one comparison between real samples and numerical models. 相似文献

Using a diamond anvil cell device and synchrotron radiation, the in-situ high-pressure structure of SrMnO3 has been investigated. At pressure up to 28.6 GPa, no pressure-induced phase transition is observed. The lattice parameters as a function of pressure is reported, and the relationship of the axial compression coefficients is βa>βc. The isothermal bulk modulus K298=266(4) GPa is also obtained by fitting the pressure-volume data using the Murnaghan equation of state. 相似文献
