The acceleration of charged dust grains by a high energy ion beam is investigated by obtaining the dispersion relation. The Cherenkov and cyclotron acceleration mechanisms of dust grains are compared with each other. The role of dusty plasma parameters and the magnetic field strength in the acceleration process are discussed. In addition, the stimulated waves by an ion beam in a fully magnetized dust–ion plasma are studied. It is shown that these waves are unstable at different angles with respect to the external magnetic field. It is also indicated that the growth rates increase by either increasing the ion and dust densities or decreasing the magnetic field strength. Finally, the results of our research show that the high energy ion beam can accelerate charged dust grains. 相似文献

An investigation of the optical properties of a GaAs spherical quantum dot which is located at the center of a Ga1-xAlx As cylindrical nano-wire has been performed in the presence of an external electric field. The band nonparabolieity effect is also considered using the energy dependent effective mass approximation. The energy eigenvalues and corresponding wave functions are calculated by finite difference approximation and the reliability of calculated wave functions is checked by computing orthogonality. Using computed energy eigenvalues and wave functions, the linear, third-order nonlinear and total optical absorption coefficients and refractive index changes are examined in detail. It is found that (i) Presence of electric field causes both blue and red shifts in absorption spectrum; (ii) The absorption coefficients shift toward lower energies by taking into account the conduction band nonparabolicity; (iii) For large values of electric field the effect of conduction band nonparabolieity is less dominant and parabolic band is estimated correctly; (iv) In the presence of electric field and conduction band nonparabolicity the nonlinear term of absorption coefficient rapidly increases by increasing incident optical intensity. In other words, the saturation in optical spectrum occurs at lower incident optical intensities. 相似文献

Aromatic nitro compounds can be conveniently reduced to the corresponding primary amines in the presence of S 8 under solvent-free conditions in excellent yields. Alumina supported NaOH catalyses this transformation. A sensitive and simple method for the simultaneous preconcentration of trace transition and heavy metal ions is reported. The method is based on the adsorption of Cu, Fe, Pb and Zn on N,N′‐Diacetyl‐4‐bromo‐2,6‐di(aminomethyl)anisole (DABDAMA) loaded on sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) coated alumina. The metal content on the complexes are eluted using 6 mL of 2 mol l−1 nitric acid. The influences of the analytical parameters including pH and sample volume were investigated. The effects of matrix ions on the retentions of the analytes were also examined. The recoveries of analytes were generally higher than 95% with a low RSD. The method has been successfully applied for these metals content evaluation in samples including soil, blood and vegetable samples. 相似文献

A method for controlling chaos when the mathematical model of the system is unknown is presented in this paper. The controller is designed by the pole placement algorithm which provides a linear feedback control method. For calculating the feedback gain, a neural network is used for identification of the system from which the Jacobian of the system in its fixed point can be approximated. The weights of the neural network are adjusted online by the gradient descent algorithm in which the difference between the system output and the network output is considered as the error to be decreased. The method is applied on both discrete-time and continuous-time systems. For continuous-time systems, equivalent discrete-time systems are constructed by using the Poincare map concept. Two discrete-time systems and one continuous-time system are tested as examples for simulation and the results show good functionality of the proposed method. It can be concluded that the chaos in systems with unknown dynamics may be eliminated by the presented intelligent control system based on pole placement and neural network. 相似文献
