On noncommutative weighted local ergodic theorems on <Emphasis Type="Italic">L</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis></Superscript>-spaces

In the present paper we consider a von Neumann algebra M with a faithful normal semi-finite trace τ, and {α _t }, a strongly continuous extension to L ^p (M, τ) of a semigroup of absolute contractions on L ¹(M, τ). By means of a non-commutative Banach Principle we prove for a Besicovitch function b and x ∊ L ^p (M, τ), that the averages 1/T ∫₀ ^T b(t)α _t (x)dt converge bilateral almost uniformly in L ^p (M, τ) as T → 0. Effect of gamma radiation on the mechanical properties and structure of oriented polycaprolactam (kapron)

Influence of the Post-Diffusion Hardening Rate and Thermal Treatment on the Thermal Stability of the Charge-Carrier Lifetime in Overcompensated n-Si

The influence of the rate of hardening changing in the range 0.6–250 deg/min and of repeated thermal treatment at temperatures of up to 1020 K on the charge-carrier lifetime in overcompensated n-Si is investigated. It is demonstrated that the value of in n-Si can be controlled by adjusting the cooling rate at a constant diffusion temperature. The observed effects are discussed based on the concepts of different degrees of microinhomogeneity of the electrical conductivity in n-Si, which depends on the post-diffusion cooling rate.     

The formation of mesitylphosphine and dimesitylphosphine in the reaction of organonickel σ-complex [NiBr(Mes)(bpy)] (Mes = 2,4,6-trimethylphenyl,bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine) with phosphine PH3

Abstract

The reactivity of the previously reported organonickel σ-complex [NiBr(Mes)(bpy)], where Mes = 2,4,6-trimethylphenyl, bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine, toward phosphine PH₃ was investigated. The reaction leads to primary mesitylphosphine MesPH₂ as the main product and dimesitylphosphine Mes₂PH as secondary product with the nickel complex as transmetalating agent. The formed MesPH₂ reacts with an excess of the complex giving Mes₂PH as the major product.
