Effect of cerium on electrochemical and mechanical properties of aluminum-iron alloys

Effect of cerium on the corrosion-electrochemical and mechanical properties of aluminum alloys with an iron content of up to 3% was studied in order to use secondary aluminum in development of sacrificial formulations.     

Regioselectivity of Alkylation of 3-Substituted 5-Amino-1,2,4-thiadiazoles

We have synthesized 3-substituted 4-alkyl-5-imino-4,5-dihydro-1,2,4-thiadiazoles by reaction of 3-alkyl(benzyl)thio-5-amino-1,2,4-thiadiazoles with methyl iodide or ethylene chlorohydrin. In the reaction with epichlorohydrin, addition of an oxirane molecule occurs with formation of tetrahydropyrimido[2,1-b]-1,2,4-thiadiazoles.     

On Julia Set and Chaos in <Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis>-adic Ising Model on the Cayley Tree

In this paper, we study the chaotic behavior of the p-adic Ising-Potts mapping associated with the p-adic Ising model on the Cayley tree. As an application of this result, we are able to show the existence of periodic (with any period) p-adic quasi Gibbs measures for the model.
