A series of 14 new 3-alkoxycarbonyl 6-aza-, 7-aza-, and 6,8-diaza-coumarins was prepared using various strategies involving either a Knoevenagel or a Pechmann condensation reaction. The coumarin nucleus displays different reactive functional groups allowing straightforward derivatization. The optical properties of the new azacoumarins were measured in methanol.  相似文献

In ion chromatography, samples of very different ammonium-to-sodium concentration ratios are difficult to quantify since these two cations have similar selectivities for stationary phases containing commonly used sulfonate or carboxylate cation-exchange functional groups. The IonPac CS15 cation-exchange column, with carboxylate and phosphonate functional groups as well as a crown ether group, was developed to address this limitation. Selectivity for the common inorganic cations on this column is different from that of conventional cation-exchange columns in that the separation between sodium and ammonium ions has been greatly increased, allowing for determinations of low levels of one in the presence of high levels of the other with an isocratic eluent. For larger than 4000:1 sodium-to-ammonium concentration ratios, an eluent step change or gradient elution is needed. For moderate ratios, combinations of this column with a carboxylate column, containing no crown ether group, can be used at room temperature with an isocratic eluent containing no organic solvent.  相似文献

Diblock copolymers of poly[2‐(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate]‐block‐poly[di(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate], PDMAEMA‐b‐PDEGMA, were synthesized by reversible addition–fragmentation chain transfer polymerization. The block ratio was varied to study the influence on the lower critical solution temperature and the corresponding phase transition in water. Therefore, turbidimetry, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), dynamic light scattering (DLS), and laser Doppler velocimetry were applied. Additionally, asymmetric flow field‐flow fractionation (AF4) coupled to DLS and multiangle laser light scattering (MALLS) was established as an alternative route to characterize these systems in terms of molar mass of the polymer chain and size of the colloids after the phase transition. It was found that AF4–MALLS allowed accurate determination of molar masses in the studied range. Nevertheless, some limitations were observed, which were critically discussed. The cloud point and phase transition of all materials, as revealed by turbidimetry, could be confirmed by DSC. For block copolymers with block ratios in the range of 50:50, a thermo‐induced self‐assembly into micellar and vesicular structures with hydrodynamic radii (Rh) of around 25 nm was observed upon heating. At higher temperatures, a reordering of the self‐assembled structures could be detected. The thermo‐responsive behavior was further investigated in dependence of pH value and ionic strength. Variation of the pH value mainly influences the solubility of the PDMAEMA segment, where a decrease of the pH value increases the transition temperature. An increase of ionic strength leads to a reduction of the cloud point due to the screening of electrostatic interactions. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part A: Polym. Infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy and X-ray reflectivity have been used to elucidate the molecular orientation and hydrocarbon chain conformation and packing of the symmetric long-chain bolaamphiphiles dotriacontane-1,1'-diyl-bis-[2-(trimethylammonio)ethylphosphate] (PC-C32-PC) and dotriacontane-1,1'-diyl-bis-[2-(dimethylammonio)ethylphosphate] (Me2PE-C32-Me2PE) at the air-water interface. At low surface pressures, these bipolar amphiphiles are found to lie flat on the water surface with a disordered chain. With increasing surface pressure, the alkyl chain becomes more ordered. Concomitantly, the chain is bent pointing into the air, whereas both polar headgroups keep contact with the water subphase. At an area of 0.9-1.1 nm2 per molecule, a surface pressure plateau is reached for both bolaamphiphiles, where the molecules adopt a reverse U-shaped conformation with a strongly tilted alkyl chain. Further compression leads to the formation of 3-D aggregates.  相似文献

We present a search for the lepton flavor violating decay B+-->K+ tau-/+ mu+/- using 383 x 10;{6} BB[over ] events collected by the BABAR experiment. The branching fraction for this decay can be substantially enhanced in new physics models. The kinematics of the tau from the signal B decay are inferred from the K+, mu, and other B in the event, which is fully reconstructed in one of a variety of hadronic decay modes, allowing the signal B candidate to be fully reconstructed. We observe no excess of events over the expected background and set a limit of B(B+-->K+ tau mu)<7.7 x 10(-5) at 90% confidence level, where the branching fraction is for the sum of the K+ tau- mu+ and K+ tau+mu- final states. We use this result to improve a model-independent bound on the energy scale of flavor-changing new physics.  相似文献

We report the observation of charmless hadronic decays of charged B mesons to the final state K{+}K{-}pi{+}. Using a data sample of 347.5 fb{-1} collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the BABAR detector, we observe 429+/-43 signal events with a significance of 9.6sigma. We measure the inclusive branching fraction B(B{+}-->K{+}K{-}pi{+})=[5.0+/-0.5(stat)+/-0.5(syst)]x10{-6}. Inspection of the Dalitz plot of signal candidates shows a broad structure peaking near 1.5 GeV/c{2} in the K+K- invariant mass distribution. We find the direct CP asymmetry to be consistent with zero.  相似文献

We analyze the decay B0-->K+K-K0 using 383 x 10(6) BB events collected by the BABAR detector at SLAC to extract CP violation parameter values over the Dalitz plot. Combining all K+K-K0 events, we find ACP=-0.015+/-0.077+/-0.053 and beta eff = 0.352+/-0.076+/-0.026 rad, corresponding to a CP violation significance of 4.8 sigma. A second solution near pi/2-beta eff is disfavored with a significance of 4.5 sigma. We also report ACP and beta eff separately for decays to phi(1020)K0, f0(980)K0, and K+K-K0 with mK+K- > 1.1 GeV/c2.  相似文献

We report the results of a study of the exclusive charmless semileptonic decay, B0-->pi(-l)(+nu), undertaken with approximately 227 x 10(6) BB pairs collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the BABAR detector. The analysis uses events in which the signal B decays are reconstructed with an innovative loose neutrino reconstruction technique. We obtain partial branching fractions in 12 bins of q2, the momentum transfer squared, from which we extract the f + (q2) form-factor shape and the total branching fraction B(B0-->pi(-l)(+nu))=(1.46+/-0.07stat+/-0.08syst) x 10(-4). Based on a recent unquenched lattice QCD calculation of the form factor in the range q2>16 GeV2, we find the magnitude of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element /Vub/ to be (4.1+/-0.2stat +/- 0.2syst(+0.6)-0.4_{FF}) x 10(-3), where the last uncertainty is due to the normalization of the form factor.  相似文献

A search for charmed baryons decaying to D(0)p reveals two states: the Lambdac(2880)+ baryon and a previously unobserved state at a mass of [2939.8+/-1.3(stat)+/-1.0(syst)] MeV/c2 and with an intrinsic width of [17.5+/-5.2(stat)+/-5.9(syst)] MeV. Consistent and significant signals are observed for the K(-)pi(+) and K(-)pi(+)pi(-)pi(+) decay modes of the D0 in 287 fb(-1) annihilation data recorded by the BABAR detector at a center-of-mass energy of 10.58 GeV. There is no evidence in the D+p spectrum of doubly charged partners. The mass and intrinsic width of the Lambdac(2880)+ baryon and relative yield of the two baryons are also measured.  相似文献
