A new configuration for an ASE reduction filter in EDFA repeaters for WDM optical transmission systems using optical fiber grating couplers (FGCs) was proposed and first demonstrated. The filtering characteristics of the proposed filter for amplified single wavelength signal and 2-channel WDM signals using EDFA were identified. It was found that the filter was effective to improve SNR in optical domain by reducing ASE noise. The required FGC characteristics for the filter were theoretically predicted under the condition that the total filter loss did not exceed 3 dB. More than 70% of drop efficiency was required in each FGC for the application of the proposed filter to an 8-channel WDM system using EDFA repeaters.  相似文献

The oxygen reduction active sites were visualized around the O2/SOFC cathode/electrolyte triple phase boundaries (TPB) by the16O/18O exchange techniques and secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS) analysis. The higher18O concentration is observed on the cathode top surfaces (La0.9Sr0.1MnO3-mesh, Au-mesh, and Ag-porous), which suggested the promotion of oxygen adsorption and oxygen surface exchange at the cathode. The oxygen diffusion through the bulk of cathode occurred at the La0.9Sr0.1MnO3-mesh and the Ag-porous cathodes, not at the Au-mesh cathode. On the YSZ surfaces after removing the cathode, the active sites for oxygen incorporation were analyzed by SIMS. The active sites for oxygen incorporation were at the La0.9Sr0.1MnO3/YSZ interface as well as the TPB. On the other hand, the active sites for oxygen incorporation are limited to the TPB in the case of the Au-mesh removed YSZ surface. From the SIMS analysis, the expansion of the active sites for oxygen incorporation is less than a few μm from the TPB lines. A series of gel polymer electrolytes containing PVdF as homo polymer, a mixture of 1:1 Ethylene Carbonate (EC) : Propylene Carbonate (PC) as plasticizer and lithium-bistrifluoromethane sulphone imide [imide — LiN (CF3SO2)2] has been developed. Amounts of polymer (PVdF), plasticizer and the imide lithium salt have been varied as a function of their weight ratio composition in this regard. Dimensionally stable films possessing appreciable room temperature conductivity values have been obtained with respect to certain weight ratio compositions. However, conductivity data have been recorded at different possible temperatures, i.e., from 20 °C to 65 °C. XRD and DSC studies were carried out to characterize the polymer films for better amorphicity and reduced glass transition temperature, respectively. The electrochemical interface stability of the PVdF based gel polymer electrolytes over a range of storage period (24 h – 10 days) have been investigated using A.C. impedance studies. Test cells containing Li/gel polymer electrolyte (GPE)/Li have been subjected to undergo 50 charge-discharge cycles in order to understand the electrochemical performance behaviour of the dimensionally stable films of superior conductivity. The observed capacity fade of less than 20% even after 50 cycles is in favour of the electrochemical stability of the gel polymer electrolyte containing 27.5% PVdF −67.5 % EC+PC −5% imide salt. Cyclic voltammetry studies establish the possibility of a reversible intercalation — deintercalation process involving Li+ ions through the gel polymer electrolyte.  相似文献

The picosecond time-resolved IR spectrum of the 7-azaindole dimer has been measured by picosecond time-resolved nonresonant ionization detected IR spectroscopy. This new time-resolved technique was developed by combining nonresonant ionization detected IR (NID-IR) spectroscopy with tunable picosecond IR and UV lasers. The time-resolved NID-IR spectrum from 2 600 cm-1 to 3 800 cm-1 shows a drastic change from 1.5 ps to 11 ps time evolution. A mode-specific vibrational redistribution has been suggested. Zero field positive muon spin rotation method ( +SR) is applied on La2–x Sr x CuO4 around forx=0.12 at which the high-T c superconductivity (SC) is suppressed. The magnetically ordered state of Cu-moments, which is not a spin glass state but an antiferromagnetic like state, appears below 15 K for 0.105x0.120. The magnetic phase boundary is very similar to the one of the La2–x Ba x CuO4 in which the structural transition from the low temperature orthorhombic (LTO) phase to the low temperature tetragonal (LTT) phase is observed aroundx=0.12. The present study suggests that there is no big difference of the electronic state of the CuO2 plane between the La-Ba system and the La-Sr system and that the magnetic ordering of Cu-moments plays an important role for the suppression of the high-T c SC aroundx=0.12 in both of the systems, although the LTO-LTT structural transition has not been observed yet in the La-Sr system.  相似文献

We have carried out SR experiments on [Co(NH3)6]Cl3 and [Co(ND3)6]Cl3. At 293 K, all the muons implanted into the complexes were in the diamagnetic state. The observed Gaussian-type muon spin relaxation function proved that the internal magnetic field was caused by nuclear dipole moments of the atoms in the complexes. In addition, another exponential-type muon spin relaxation function was observed in [Co(ND3)6]Cl3 below 50 K.  相似文献

Local coordination structure around Yttrium ions in CeO2–Y2O3 binary and [(CeO2)x(ZrO2)1?x]0.8(YO1.5)0.2 (x = 0.0 ~ 1.0) ternary system has been investigated by 89Y MAS-NMR. NMR spectra are found to be consisted of multiple peaks that can be assigned to 6-, 7- and 8-oxygen coordinated Yttrium ions. Compositional dependence of the spectrum was observed and compared with the previous results for ZrO2–Y2O3 binary system. The present investigation suggested the degree of localization of the oxygen vacancy around the cation is in the order of Zr4+ > Y3+ > Ce4+. The degree of the oxygen vacancy preference for each cation was quantitatively determined for CeO2–ZrO2–Y2O3 ternary system the first time.  相似文献
