The characteristic DEFGH-ring system of type B physalins has been synthesized by means of a one-pot procedure incorporating domino-type ring transformations. Unexpectedly, we found that introduction of an α-hydroxyester functionality at C17 in ring E allowed the key 7-endo oxy-Michael reaction to proceed. Originally this was thought to be an unfavored process. This afforded the desired caged ring system to be formed in a kinetically controlled manner. Consecutive treatment with AcOH at 100 °C furnished the DEFGH-ring system in one pot. 相似文献

Nanoscale complexes of recombinant silk molecules containing THPs with DNA are designed as less cytotoxic and highly target‐specific gene carriers. Genetically engineered silk proteins containing poly(L ‐lysine) domains to interact with pDNA and the THP to bind to specific tumorigenic cells for target‐specific pDNA delivery are prepared, followed by in vitro transfection into MDA‐MB‐435 melanoma cells, highly metastatic human breast tumor MDA‐MB‐231 cells, and non‐tumorigenic MCF‐10A breast epithelial cells. The silk/poly(L ‐lysine) block copolymer containing Lyp1 (ML‐Lyp1) shows significant differences from silk/poly(L ‐lysine) block copolymer containing F3 (ML‐F3) in cytotoxicity to MCF10A cells. ML‐F3 is the most promising candidate for target delivery into tumorigenic cells.

The synthesis and the solid state magnetic properties of (nitronyl nitroxide)‐substituted trioxytriphenylamine radical cation tetrachlorogallate, NNTOT+·GaCl4? , are reported. In the temperature region between 300 and 3 K, the magnetic behavior is characterized by the strong intramolecular ferromagnetic interaction (J/kB=+400 K) between the radical ( NN ) and the radical cation ( TOT +) and the weak intermolecular antiferromagnetic interaction (J/kB=?1.9 K) between NNTOT+ ions. Below 3 K, a 3D‐type long‐range magnetic ordering into a weak ferromagnet was observed (TN=2.65 K). The magnetic entropy (Smag=8.97 J K?1 mol?1) obtained by the heat capacity measurement is in good agreement with the theoretical value of R ln3=9.13 J K?1 mol?1 based on the S=1 state. 相似文献

3-Aminoquinoline/α-cyano-4-hydroxycinnamic acid (3AQ/CHCA) is a liquid matrix (LM), which was reported by Kumar et al. in 1996 for matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) mass spectrometry. It is a viscous liquid and has some advantages of durability of ion generation by a self-healing surface and quantitative performance. In this study, we found a novel aspect of 3AQ/CHCA as a MALDI matrix, which converges hydrophilic material into the center of the droplet of analyte-3AQ/CHCA mixture on a MALDI sample target well during the process of evaporation of water derived from analyte solvent. This feature made it possible to separate not only the buffer components, but also the peptides and oligosaccharides from one another within 3AQ/CHCA. The MALDI imaging analyses of the analyte-3AQ/CHCA droplet indicated that the oligosaccharides and the peptides were distributed in the center and in the whole area around the center of 3AQ/CHCA, respectively. This 'on-target separation' effect was also applicable to glycoprotein digests such as ribonuclease B. These features of 3AQ/CHCA liquid matrix eliminate the requirement for pretreatment, and reduce sample handling losses thus resulting in the improvement of throughput and sensitivity. 相似文献

A theoretical model is developed for predicting dynamic polymer depletion under the influence of fluid flow. The results are established by combining the two-fluid model and the self-consistent field theory. We consider a uniform fluid flow across a slit containing a solution with polymer chains. The two parallel and infinitely long walls are permeable to solvent only and the polymers do not adsorb to these walls. For a weak flow and a narrow slit, an analytic expression is derived to describe the steady-state polymer concentration profiles in a $ \Theta$ -solvent. In both $ \Theta$ - and good-solvents, we compute the time evolution of the concentration profiles for various flow rates characterized by the Peclet number. The model reveals the interplay of depletion, solvent condition, slit width, and the relative strength of the fluid flow. 相似文献

Photoelectrochemical measurements were used to study the photoelectrode characteristics of composite nanoparticles composed of fullerene C60 and partially hydrolyzed aluminum phthalocyanine chloride (AlPc). In cyclic voltammetry measurements, the electrodes coated with the composite nanoparticles were found to have photoanodic [electron donor: 2-mercaptoethanol (ME)] and photocathodic (electron acceptor: O2) characteristics similar to those of the vapor-deposited p/n junction electrode. Their photoanodic features were further investigated with respect to the transient photocurrent response to light irradiation and the dependence on ME concentration (under potentiostatic conditions), from which it was noted that there was a decrease in the initial spiky photocathodic current and saturation of the steady-state photoanodic current at a higher ME concentration. Thus, the reaction kinetics was probably dominated by charge transport process. Moreover, external and internal quantum efficiency spectrum measurements indicated that the composite nanoparticles responded to the full spectrum of visible light ( < 880 nm) for both the photoanodic and photocathodic current. The present research will assist comprehension of photocatalytic behavior of the composite nanoparticles. 相似文献
