Rapid and unambiguous identification of three degradation products (DP-1, DP-2 and DP-3) found in heat-stressed loxoprofen sodium adhesive tapes (Loxonin tapes) was achieved by LC-MS and dynamic pressurized liquid extraction (PLE)-solid-phase extraction (SPE) coupled to LC-NMR without complicated isolation or purification processes. The molecular formulae of the degradation products were determined by accurate mass measurements and product ion analyses and on-line hydrogen/deuterium (H/D) exchange experiments provided information about changes in the degradation of loxoprofen. To compensate for the low sensitivity of NMR, on-line dynamic PLE-SPE was employed and higher concentrations of degradation products trapped on the SPE column were afforded in a shorter time than they would be in such time-consuming sample preparations as pre-concentration after extraction. The loop-storage procedure was used in the LC-NMR analysis to allow the acquisition of the (1)H spectra of the three degradation products in one chromatographic run without affecting the peak separation and to avoid the carry-over of previously eluted DP-1 of high concentration by washing the NMR detection cell prior to the measurement of the DP-2 spectrum. Based on the resulting (1)H NMR spectra in combination with the MS results, DP-1 was successfully identified as an oxidation product having an oxodicarboxylic acid structure formed by the cleavage of the cyclopentanone ring of loxoprofen, DP-2 as a cyclopentanone ring-hydroxylated loxoprofen and DP-3 as a loxoprofen l-menthol ester. 相似文献

A new nonlinear optical method is presented to detect proteins binding to a gold surface without using fluorescent-dye labeling. After exposure of the protein-binding surface to a gold nanosphere solution, the nanospheres are immobilized above a gold surface with a nanogap supported by the protein. The gold nanospheres immobilized on the gold surface show strong localized surface plasmon (LSP) resonance, and the formation of this structure results in a marked increase in the optical second harmonic (SH) activity of the gold surface arising from a large enhancement of the electric field localized adjacent to the nanospheres on the LSP resonance. The SH image, therefore, gives a high contrast ratio, 7.0:1, of protein-binding spots to control spots. The contrast ratio is much greater than those obtained by linear reflectivity imaging. 相似文献

Phase separation of gas–liquid and liquid–liquid microflows in microchannels were examined and characterized by interfacial pressure balance. We considered the conditions of the phase separation, where the phase separation requires a single phase flow in each output of the microchannel. As the interfacial pressure, we considered the pressure difference between the two phases due to pressure loss in each phase and the Laplace pressure generated by the interfacial tension at the interface between the separated phases. When the pressure difference between the two phases is balanced by the Laplace pressure, the contact line between the two phases is static. Since the contact angle characterizing the Laplace pressure is restricted to values between the advancing and receding contact angles, the Laplace pressure has a limit. When the pressure difference between the two phases exceeds the limiting Laplace pressure, one of the phases leaks into the output channel of the other phase, and the phase separation fails. In order to experimentally verify this physical picture, microchips were used having a width of 215 μm and a depth of 34 μm for the liquid–liquid microflows, a width of 100 μm and a depth of 45 μm for the gas–liquid microflows. The experimental results of the liquid–liquid microflows agreed well with the model whilst that of the gas–liquid microflows did not agree with the model because of the compressive properties of the gas phase and evaporation of the liquid phase. The model is useful for general liquid–liquid microflows in continuous flow chemical processing. 相似文献

In the three isomeric salts, all C6H7N2O+·C6HCl2O4−, of chloranilic acid (2,5‐dichloro‐3,6‐dihydroxy‐1,4‐benzoquinone) with 2‐, 3‐ and 4‐carbamoylpyridine, namely, 2‐carbamoylpyridinium hydrogen chloranilate (systematic name: 2‐carbamoylpyridinium 2,5‐dichloro‐4‐hydroxy‐3,6‐dioxocyclohexa‐1,4‐dienolate), (I), 3‐carbamoylpyridinium hydrogen chloranilate, (II), and 4‐carbamoylpyridinium hydrogen chloranilate, (III), acid–base interactions involving H‐atom transfer are observed. The shortest interactions between the cation and the anion in (I) and (II) are pyridinium N—H...(O,O) bifurcated hydrogen bonds, which act as the primary intermolecular interaction in each crystal structure. We have investigated linear and nonlinear optical properties of surface immobilized gold nanospheres (SIGNs) above a gold surface with a gap distance of a few nanometers. The nanogap was supported by amine or merocyanine terminated self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) of alkanethiolates. A large second-harmonic generation (SHG) was observed from the SIGN systems at localized surface plasmon resonance condition. The maximum enhancement factor of SHG intensity was found to be 3 x 10(5) for the SIGN system of nanospheres 100 nm in diameter with a gap distance of 0.8 nm. The corresponding susceptibility was estimated to be chi((2))=750 pmV (1.8 x 10(-6) esu). In the SIGN system supported with the merocyanine terminated SAMs, the SHG response was also resonant to the merocyanine in the nanogap. It was found that the SHG response of the SIGN systems is strongly frequency dependent. This leads us to conclude that the large chi((2)) is caused by enhanced electric fields at the localized surface plasmon resonance condition and is not due to an increase of the surface susceptibility following from the presence of the gold nanospheres. The observed SHG was consistent with the theoretical calculations involving Fresnel correction factors, based on the quasistatic approximation. 相似文献
