The authors have studied adsorption of acetylene on Cu(110) by means of low-temperature scanning tunneling microscopy. Adsorbed molecules preferentially aggregate at 40 K to yield dimer, trimer, and larger islands on the surface. Isolated species (monomer) adsorbs on the fourfold hollow site with approximately sp3 rehybridization as characterized by inelastic electron tunneling spectroscopy. Tunneling electron induces an acetylene molecule to migrate along the trough of Cu(110). The migration proceeds in two steps: the molecule first hops to the adjacent long-bridge site and then to the next fourfold site. The voltage and current dependencies of the hopping probability show that the migration is induced by inelastic electron tunneling that causes vibrational excitation of mainly C-H stretch mode. 相似文献

Classical information geometry has emerged from the study of geometrical aspect of the statistical estimation. Cencov characterized the Fisher metric as a canonical metric on probability simplexes from a statistical point of view, and Campbell extended the characterization of the Fisher metric from probability simplexes to positive cone . In quantum information geometry, quantum states which are represented by positive Hermitian matrices with trace one are regarded as an extension of probability distributions. A quantum version of the Fisher metric is introduced, and is called a monotone metric. Petz characterized the monotone metrics on the space of all quantum states in terms of operator monotone functions. A purpose of the present paper is to extend a characterization of monotone metrics from the space of all states to the space of all positive Hermitian matrices on finite dimensional Hilbert space. The absorption spectra of Br(2)(?-) and Br(3)(-) in aqueous solutions are investigated by pulse radiolysis techniques from room temperature to 380 and 350 °C, respectively. Br(2)(?-) can be observed even in supercritical conditions, showing that this species could be used as a probe in pulse radiolysis at high temperature and even under supercritical conditions. The weak temperature effect on the absorption spectra of Br(2)(?-) and Br(3)(-) is because, in these two systems, the transition occurs between two valence states; for example, for Br(2)(-) we have (2)Σ(u) → (2)Σ(g) transition. These valence transitions involve no diffuse final state. However, the absorption band of Br(-) undergoes an important red shift to longer wavelengths. We performed classical dynamics of hydrated Br(-) system at 20 and 300 °C under pressure of 25 MPa. The radial distribution functions (rdf's) show that the strong temperature increase (from 20 to 300 °C) does not change the radius of the solvent first shell. On the other hand, it shifts dramatically (by 1 ?) the second maximum of the Br-O rdf and introduces much disorder. This shows that the first water shell is strongly bound to the anion whatever the temperature. The first two water shells form a cavity of a roughly spherical shape around the anion. By TDDFT method, we calculated the absorption spectra of hydrated Br(-) at two temperatures and we compared the results with the experimental data. 相似文献

Ferulic acid (FA), which is present in the cell walls of some plants, is best known for its antioxidant property. By combining a commercial enzyme that shows FA esterase activity with several Streptomyces carbohydrate-hydrolyzing enzymes, we succeeded in enhancing the enzymatic production of FA from defatted rice bran. In particular, the combination of three xylanases, an α-l-arabinofuranosidase, and an acetyl xylan esterase from Streptomyces spp. produced the highest increase in the amount of released FAs among all the enzymes in the Streptomyces enzymes library. This enzyme combination also had an effect on FA production from other biomasses, such as raw rice bran, wheat bran, and corncob. 相似文献

We report the synthesis of a new bridged end-capped distyryldithiophene with ketone groups on the bridge: E,E-2,7′-bis((2-phenyl)-ethenyl)-benzo[2,1-b:3,4-b′]dithiophene-4,5-dione 1. Optical and electrochemical properties of 1 in solution were investigated by UV-vis absorption and cyclic voltammetry and compared to the unsubstituted parent molecule (KDS2T). Morphology of 1-based thin films was investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and the crystalline structure characterization by X-ray diffraction (XRD). X-prolyl dipeptidyl aminopeptidases (X-PDAPs) are useful in various food industries. In this study, we performed sequence-based
screening to obtain a stable X-PDAP enzyme from thermophilic Streptomyces strains. We found three genes that encoded X-PDAP from Streptomyces thermoluteus subsp. fuscus NBRC 14270 (14270 X-PDAP), Streptomyces thermocyaneoviolaceus NBRC 14271 (14271 X-PDAP), and Streptomyces thermocoerulescens NBRC 14273, which were subsequently cloned and sequenced. The deduced amino acid sequences of these genes showed high similarity,
with ~80% identity with each other. The isolated X-PDAPs and an X-PDAP from Streptomyces coelicolor were expressed in Streptomyces lividans using a hyperexpression vector: pTONA5a. Among these genes, only 14270 and 14271 X-PDAPs caused overexpression and extracellular production without artificial signal
peptides. We also characterized the biochemical properties of purified 14271 X-PDAP. In addition, we found that, in peptide

In an attempt to explore the synthetic utility of a ternary asymmetric catalyst comprising La(NO3)3?6H2O, amide‐based ligand (R)‐ L1 , and D ‐valine tert‐butyl ester H‐D ‐Val‐OtBu, we investigated a catalytic, asymmetric amination of functionalized N‐nonsubstituted α‐alkoxycarbonyl amides using di‐tert‐butyl azodicarboxylate as an electrophilic aminating reagent. A highly functionalized, cyclic N‐nonsubstituted α‐alkoxycarbonyl amide delivered the desired amination product in up to 96 % enantiometric excess, with the requisite functionalities of the polar heads of sphingosines with the appropriate stereochemical arrangement. The rapid asymmetric assembly of these functional groups allowed a concise enantioselective synthetic route to sphingosines to be established with a broad flexibility towards derivative synthesis. These studies have culminated in an efficient catalytic enantioselective total synthesis of immunosuppressive fungal metabolites mycestericin F ( 3 a ) and G ( 3 b ). 相似文献

fractions of F \Phi = 0 , 0.41, 0.46, and 0.51. The moduli were evaluated at several frequencies of shear flow; the shear flow used here has
a zigzag profile, as is consistent with the usual periodic boundary conditions. The simulation results were compared with
