Alkyne hydroamination is an effective approach for the production of enamines and enamine-containing N-heterocycles. However, stereoselectivity control is a considerable challenge in this reaction because of the electronic repulsion between an incoming nitrogen lone pair and the alkyne π-system. Herein, we propose a methodology involving β-regio- and Z-selective alkyne hydroamination by using tetrafluoro-λ6-sulfanyl (SF4) alkynes under superbasic, naked anion conditions. The reaction is compatible with a wide variety of N-heterocycles, including indoles, carbazoles, pyrazoles, and imidazoles, and selectively furnishes SF4-linked Z-vinyl enamines with β-regioselectively. Moreover, the method can be extended to the β- and Z-controlled, base-mediated alkyne hydrophenoxylation with phenols to provide SF4-linked Z-vinyl ethers in high yields. As the SF4 unit has attracted attention as a bioisostere for alkynes, p-benzenes, bicyclo[1.1.1]pentyl (BCP) groups, and cubanes in medicinal chemistry, this chemistry represents an effective approach to creating novel drug candidates incorporating SF4-containing molecules.  相似文献

This work demonstrates the UV nanoimprinting lithography (UV-NIL) of high refractive index and highly transparent polythioethers based on thiol-ene click chemistry. Herein, 9,9-bis(3-mercaptopropylphenylether)fluorene (BMPF) is designed as a new thiol monomer with a high refractive index, high transparency, and good processability for UV-NIL. Colorless polythioethers are synthesized from BMPF and ene monomers under mild thiol-ene click reaction conditions. Excellent transmittance (96%) of 400 nm light is observed in all the polymer films and high refractive index values of 1.5972–1.6382 are attained. UV-NIL using thiol-ene photopolymerization affords polymer nanoimprinting patterns with various features on the order of 100–500 nm without any fractures. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report on UV-NIL of high refractive index and highly transparent polymers. Through proper monomer and polymer design, novel polythioethers with suitable glass transition temperature (T g) values are developed with high refractive index, high transparency, and good UV-NIL processability. In free‐radical olefin polymerizations, the polymer transfer reactions could lead to chain scission as well as forming long‐chain branches. For the random scission of branched polymers, it is virtually impossible to apply usual differential population balance equations because the number of possible scission points is dependent on the complex molecular architecture. On the other hand, the present problem can be solved on the basis of the probability theory by considering the history of each primary polymer molecule in a straightforward manner. The random sampling technique is used to solve this problem and a Monte Carlo simulation method is proposed. In this simulation method, one can observe the structure of each polymer molecule formed in this complex reaction system, and virtually any structural information can be obtained. In the illustrative calculations, the full molecular weight distribution development, the gel point determination, and examples of two‐ and three‐dimensional polymer structure are shown. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
