ABSTRACT

Materials which display ionic conductivity were produced by the sol-gel and microemulsion-gel methods. The charging and discharging characteristics were investigated and it was found that a single ionic species was responsible for the conduction, the ionic species being residual protons from the initial component mixture. The complex impedence of various samples was measured and the ionic conductivities ranged in value from 9 × 10?8 to 1 × 10?5 ohm?1 cm?1. An Arrhemius plot for a microemulsion-gel revealed that the energy of activation was 0.15 eV.  相似文献

An analytical expression for calculating the signal output power of an optical parametric generator (OPG) configuration was developed. The model is based on Heisenberg equations in space and radiation mode theory. A simple analytical expression can be obtained by assuming that all modes within the gain bandwidth of the nonlinear crystal have the same gain and the same interaction length. Another derivation considers the gain and interaction length of each individual mode. The model predictions are in excellent agreement with the measured signal power of OPGs based on 25- and 35-mm periodically poled LiNbO3 crystal (with effective quadratic nonlinearity of ∼14.5 pm/V) and 47-mm periodically poled LiTaO3 crystal (with effective quadratic nonlinearity of ∼9 pm/V). In addition, a comparison was made between the summation over discrete modes approach and the traditional approach of continuous integration over the beam parameters and pump frequency. We have found that the first approach, which is developed in this paper, predicts more accurately the output power of the OPG.  相似文献

A series of lead(II) coordination polymers containing [N(CN)2]? (DCA) or [Au(CN)2]? bridging ligands and substituted terpyridine (terpy) ancillary ligands ([Pb(DCA)2] ( 1 ), [Pb(terpy)(DCA)2] ( 2 ), [Pb(terpy){Au(CN)2}2] ( 3 ), [Pb(4′‐chloro‐terpy){Au(CN)2}2] ( 4 ) and [Pb(4′‐bromo‐terpy)(μ‐OH2)0.5{Au(CN)2}2] ( 5 )) was spectroscopically examined by solid‐state 207Pb MAS NMR spectroscopy in order to characterise the structural and electronic changes associated with lead(II) lone‐pair activity. Two new compounds, 2 and [Pb(4′‐hydroxy‐terpy){Au(CN)2}2] ( 6 ), were prepared and structurally characterised. The series displays contrasting coordination environments, bridging ligands with differing basicities and structural and electronic effects that occur with various substitutions on the terpyridine ligand (for the [Au(CN)2]? polymers). 207Pb NMR spectra show an increase in both isotropic chemical shift and span (Ω) with increasing ligand basicity (from δiso=?3090 ppm and Ω=389 ppm for 1 (the least basic) to δiso=?1553 ppm and Ω=2238 ppm for 3 (the most basic)). The trends observed in 207Pb NMR data correlate with the coordination sphere anisotropy through comparison and quantification of the Pb? N bond lengths about the lead centre. Density functional theory calculations confirm that the more basic ligands result in greater p‐orbital character and show a strong correlation to the 207Pb NMR chemical shift parameters. Preliminary trends suggest that 207Pb NMR chemical shift anisotropy relates to the measured birefringence, given the established correlations with structure and lone‐pair activity.  相似文献

New material UCB-1 is synthesized via the delamination of zeolite precursor MCM-22 (P) at pH 9 using an aqueous solution of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide, tetrabutylammonium fluoride, and tetrabutylammonium chloride at 353 K. Characterization by powder X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and nitrogen physisorption at 77 K indicates the same degree of delamination in UCB-1 as previously reported for delaminated zeolite precursors, which require a pH of greater than 13.5 and sonication in order to achieve exfoliation. UCB-1 consists of a high degree of structural integrity via (29)Si MAS NMR and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopies, and no detectable formation of amorphous silica phase via transmission electron microscopy. Porosimetry measurements demonstrate a lack of hysteresis in the N(2) adsorption/desorption isotherms and macroporosity in UCB-1. The new method is generalizable to a variety of Si:Al ratios and leads to delaminated zeolite precursor materials lacking amorphization.  相似文献

Gromov’s celebrated systolic inequality from ’83 is a universal volume lower bound in terms of the least length of a noncontractible loop in M. His proof passes via a strongly isometric imbedding called the Kuratowski imbedding, into the Banach space of bounded functions on M. We show that the imbedding admits an approximation by a (1+e){(1+\epsilon)}-bi-Lipschitz (onto its image), finite-dimensional imbedding for every ${\epsilon > 0}${\epsilon > 0}, using the first variation formula and the mean value theorem.  相似文献
