Electrical resistivity and magnetoresistance of CeB6 single crystal have been measured in the temperature range from 1.3 to 300 K under the magnetic field up to 85 kOe. Three characteristic phases are distinguished consistently with other measurements. The Kondo like behaviour in the resistivity observed in the high temperature phase is fitted by the conventional form for the dilute Kondo state with the Kondo temperature TK = 5 ~ 10K and the unitarity limit resistivity cm/Ce-atom. The negative magnetoresistance in the middle phase is stronger with increasing magnetic field and with decreasing temperature suggesting rapid destruction of the Kondo state. The magnetoresistance in the low temperature phase exhibits some anomalies suggesting sub-phases corresponding to several kinds of spin ordering. 相似文献

Using the Monte Carlo simulation, we investigate a memory-impaired self-avoiding walk on a square lattice in which a random walker marks each of sites visited with a given probability p and makes a random walk avoiding the marked sites. Namely, p = 0 and p = 1 correspond to the simple random walk and the self-avoiding walk, respectively. When p> 0, there is a finite probability that the walker is trapped. We show that the trap time distribution can well be fitted by Stacy’s Weibull distribution \(b{\left( {\tfrac{a}{b}} \right)^{\tfrac{{a + 1}}{b}}}{\left[ {\Gamma \left( {\tfrac{{a + 1}}{b}} \right)} \right]^{ - 1}}{x^a}\exp \left( { - \tfrac{a}{b}{x^b}} \right)\) where a and b are fitting parameters depending on p. We also find that the mean trap time diverges at p = 0 as ~p ? α with α = 1.89. In order to produce sufficient number of long walks, we exploit the pivot algorithm and obtain the mean square displacement and its Flory exponent ν(p) as functions of p. We find that the exponent determined for 1000 step walks interpolates both limits ν(0) for the simple random walk and ν(1) for the self-avoiding walk as [ ν(p) ? ν(0) ] / [ ν(1) ? ν(0) ] = p β with β = 0.388 when p ? 0.1 and β = 0.0822 when p ? 0.1. 相似文献

Single phase TmB12, YbB12 and LuB12 were successfully obtained by the arc-melting and floating zone methods. The XPS measurements of these compounds have indicated that (1) only YbB12 is a valence fluctuating compound with the valency of +2.9 at room temperature, (2) the correlation energy between Yb2+ and Yb3+ ions is about 6.0 eV, (3) Tm and Lu ions in the dodecaborides are in a trivalent state, and (4) the binding energy of the 4f level in TmB12 and LuB12 is 5.0 and 7.7 eV, respectively. 相似文献

Spectrophotometric and thermodynamic investigations are reported of the interactions between anionic surfactant (sodium dodecyl sulfate) and six azo oil dyes (benzene azo naphthalene type) which have an amino group at 4-position of naphthalene. A pronounced spectral change in the dye solution occurs on addition of surfactant. For increasingly surfactant concentrations (below the CMC), the interaction between dye and surfactant is so sharp that the systems may be said to exhibit an isosbestic point; then a new absorption band appears at longer wavelengths. The spectral data can be quantitatively interpreted in terms of a complex formation. The equilibrium coefficients of the complex formation are determined at different temperatures. The thermodynamic parameters of the complex formations (the free energy change (G), enthalpy change (H) and change in entropy (S) are also calculated. The reaction of complex formation is exothermic (H negative).G is dependent on the hydrophobic nature andpKa of the dye. These complexes will form due to hydrophilic-hydrophilic interaction and will become more stable due to hydrophobic-hydrophobic interaction.With increasing amounts of complex, the infinite adsorption, the exhaustion and the rate constant of dyeing for nylon decrease. 相似文献

An efficient cross-coupling reaction using a low cost carbon-supported palladium (Pd/C) catalyst for the synthesis of cross-conjugated compounds, diaryl[n]dendralenes, has been developed. The reaction of a propargylic biscarbonate with phenylboronic acid using Pd/C and phosphine ligand (S-Phos) gave 2,3-diphenyl[2]dendralene in high yield. We found that Pd/C was an effective catalyst for the synthesis of dialyl[n]dendralenes. The synthesis of various dendralenes was successfully achieved under the optimized conditions, giving dialyl [2] and [4] dendralenes in good yields. 相似文献

Neolacto‐series ganglioside sialylparagloboside (SPG) is a ganglioside species present in various human tissues, and used in many important studies. In this study, four ganglioside analogs, GM3, GD3, SPG, and NeuAc‐Gal‐GlcNAc‐Gal‐GlcNAc‐Gal‐Glc‐Cer, were synthesized by the saccharide‐primer method using MDCK cells and β‐lactoside primer with different aglycons. As compared to former methods for producing SPG, the primer method was rapid and convenient. Moreover, the yield of SPG was much higher than that obtained by former methods. The production of gangliosides with an azido group in the aglycon moiety was also achieved by using MDCK cells. 相似文献

A new technique is presented to incorporate exogeneous gene materials (DNA) into cells with a microbeam irradiation from an uv pulsed laser. A frequency-multiplied Nd:YAG laser, 355 m wavelength, 5 ns pulse duration, punches a self-healing hole of submicrometer aperture in cell membrane under selected irradiation conditions. It takes a fraction of a second for the aperture to close, long enough to allow the foreign DNA, contained in the medium, to slip into the cell. The method offers a clear advantage over existing methods: increases the success rate of DNA transfection as well as the efficiency of cell modification by orders of magnitude. 相似文献
