Long-chain branched polyethylenes are still of great interest today. In some cases their characterization is not an easy task with classical analytic methods (GPC-MALLS and NMR) because of the limited sensitivity at low concentrations of long-chain branches. Rheological methods make a valuable contribution to the characterization due to their high sensitivity with respect to long-chain branches. Using rheology it was possible to get an insight into the influence of different comonomers and comonomer concentrations on the long-chain branch incorporation in LLDPE. A variation of polymerization parameters such as polymerization pressure was found to influence the rheological behavior. From these findings some conclusions with respect to the molecular structure could be drawn.  相似文献

The complexes Cp(MeIm)IrI2 and CpMe4(MeIm)IrCl2 have been prepared and subsequently methylated to form Cp(MeIm)IrMe2 and CpMe4(MeIm)IrMe2 (Cp=η5-C5H5, CpMe45-C5HMe4, MeIm=1,3-dimethylimidazol-2-ylidene). We attempted unsuccessfully to use the dimethyl complexes to study C−D bond activation via methyl-group abstraction. Protonation with one equivalent of a weak acid, such as 2,6-dimethylpyridinium chloride, affords methane and IrIII methyl chloride complexes. 1H-NMR experiments show addition of pyridinium [BArF20] (BArF20=[B(C6F5)4]) to the dimethyl species forms [Cp(MeIm)IrMe(py)]+[BArF20] (py=pyridine) or [CpMe4(MeIm)IrMe(py)]+[BArF20] respectively, alongside methane, while use of the [BArF20] salts of more bulky 2,6-dimethylpyridinium and 2,6-di-tert-butylpyridinium gave an intractable mixture. Likewise, the generation of 16 e species [CpMe4(MeIm)IrMe]+[BArF20] or [Cp(MeIm)IrMe]+[BarF20] at low temperature using 2,6-dimethylpyridinium or 2,6-di-tert-butylpyridinium in thawing C6D6 or toluene-d8 formed an intractable mixture and did not lead to C−D bond activation. X-ray structures of several IrIII complexes show similar sterics as that found for the previously reported Cp* analogue.  相似文献

A series of pincer ((tBu)PCP)Pd(II)-OR complexes ((tBu)PCP = 2,6-bis(CH(2)P(t)Bu(2))C(6)H(3), R = H, CH(3), C(6)H(5), CH(2)C(CH(3))(3), CH(2)CH(2)F, CH(2)CHF(2), CH(2)CF(3)) were synthesized to explore the generality of hydrogenolysis reactions of palladium-oxygen bonds. Hydrogenolysis of the Pd hydroxide complex to generate the Pd hydride complex and water was shown to be inhibited by formation of a water-bridged, hydrogen-bonded Pd(II) hydroxide dimer. The Pd alkoxide and aryloxide complexes exhibited more diverse reactivity. Depending on the characteristics of the -OR ligand (steric bulk, electron-donating ability, and/or the presence of β-hydrogen atoms), hydrogenolysis was complicated by hydrolysis by adventitious water, a lack of reactivity with hydrogen, or a competing dissociative β-hydride abstraction reaction pathway. Full selectivity for hydrogenolysis was observed with the partially fluorinated Pd(II) 2-fluoroethoxide complex. The wide range of Pd-OR substrates examined helps to clarify the variety of reaction pathways available to late-transition-metal alkoxides as well as the conditions necessary to tune the reactivity to hydrogenolysis, hydrolysis, or dissociative β-hydride abstraction.  相似文献

Nitric oxide (NO) is frequently used to probe the substrate-binding site of "spectroscopically silent" non-heme Fe(2+) sites of metalloenzymes, such as superoxide reductase (SOR). Herein we use NO to probe the superoxide binding site of our thiolate-ligated biomimetic SOR model [Fe(II)(S(Me(2))N(4)(tren))](+) (1). Like NO-bound trans-cysteinate-ligated SOR (SOR-NO), the rhombic S = 3/2 EPR signal of NO-bound cis-thiolate-ligated [Fe(S(Me(2))N(4)(tren)(NO)](+) (2; g = 4.44, 3.54, 1.97), the isotopically sensitive ν(NO)(ν((15)NO)) stretching frequency (1685(1640) cm(-1)), and the 0.05 ? decrease in Fe-S bond length are shown to be consistent with the oxidative addition of NO to Fe(II) to afford an Fe(III)-NO(-) {FeNO}(7) species containing high-spin (S = 5/2) Fe(III) antiferromagnetically coupled to NO(-) (S = 1). The cis versus trans positioning of the thiolate does not appear to influence these properties. Although it has yet to be crystallographically characterized, SOR-NO is presumed to possess a bent Fe-NO similar to that of 2 (Fe-N-O = 151.7(4)°). The N-O bond is shown to be more activated in 2 relative to N- and O-ligated {FeNO}(7) complexes, and this is attributed to the electron-donating properties of the thiolate ligand. Hydrogen-bonding to the cysteinate sulfur attenuates N-O bond activation in SOR, as shown by its higher ν(NO) frequency (1721 cm(-1)). In contrast, the ν(O-O) frequency of the SOR peroxo intermediate and its analogues is not affected by H-bonds to the cysteinate sulfur or other factors influencing the Fe-SR bond strength; these only influence the ν(Fe-O) frequency. Reactions between 1 and NO(2)(-) are shown to result in the proton-dependent heterolytic cleavage of an N-O bond. The mechanism of this reaction is proposed to involve both Fe(II)-NO(2)(-) and {FeNO}(6) intermediates similar to those implicated in the mechanism of NiR-promoted NO(2)(-) reduction.  相似文献

Nitrile hydratases (NHases) are thiolate-ligated Fe(III)- or Co(III)-containing enzymes, which convert nitriles to the corresponding amide under mild conditions. Proposed NHase mechanisms involve M(III)-NCR, M(III)-OH, M(III)-iminol, and M(III)-amide intermediates. There have been no reported crystallographically characterized examples of these key intermediates. Spectroscopic and kinetic data support the involvement of a M(III)-NCR intermediate. A H-bonding network facilitates this enzymatic reaction. Herein we describe two biomimetic Co(III)-NHase analogues that hydrate MeCN, and four crystallographically characterized NHase intermediate analogues, [Co(III)(S(Me2)N(4)(tren))(MeCN)](2+) (1), [Co(III)(S(Me2)N(4)(tren))(OH)](+) (3), [Co(III)(S(Me2)N(4)(tren))(NHC(O)CH(3))](+) (2), and [Co(III)(O(Me2)N(4)(tren))(NHC(OH)CH(3))](2+) (5). Iminol-bound 5 represents the first example of a Co(III)-iminol compound in any ligand environment. Kinetic parameters (k(1)(298 K) = 2.98(5) M(-1) s(-1), ΔH(?) = 12.65(3) kcal/mol, ΔS(?) = -14(7) e.u.) for nitrile hydration by 1 are reported, and the activation energy E(a) = 13.2 kcal/mol is compared with that (E(a) = 5.5 kcal/mol) of the NHase enzyme. A mechanism involving initial exchange of the bound MeCN for OH- is ruled out by the fact that nitrile exchange from 1 (k(ex)(300 K) = 7.3(1) × 10(-3) s(-1)) is 2 orders of magnitude slower than nitrile hydration, and that hydroxide bound 3 does not promote nitrile hydration. Reactivity of an analogue that incorporates an alkoxide as a mimic of the highly conserved NHase serine residue shows that this moiety facilitates nitrile hydration under milder conditions. Hydrogen-bonding to the alkoxide stabilizes a Co(III)-iminol intermediate. Comparison of the thiolate versus alkoxide intermediate structures shows that C≡N bond activation and C═O bond formation proceed further along the reaction coordinate when a thiolate is incorporated into the coordination sphere.  相似文献

The osmium(VI) nitrido complex TpOs(N)Cl(2) (1) has been prepared from K[Os(N)O(3)] and KTp in aqueous ethanolic HCl. It reacts rapidly with PhMgCl and related reagents with transfer of a phenyl group to the nitrido ligand. This forms Os(IV) metalla-analido complexes, which are readily protonated to give the analido complex TpOs(NHPh)Cl(2) (4). The nitrido-phenyl derivatives TpOs(N)PhCl and TpOs(N)Ph(2) react more slowly with PhMgCl and are not competent intermediates for the reaction of 1 with PhMgCl. Reactions of 1 with alkyl- and arylboranes similarly result in transfer of one organic group to nitrogen, leading to isolable borylamido complexes such as TpOs[N(Ph)(BPh(2))]Cl(2) (11). This is an unprecedented insertion of a nitrido ligand into a boron--carbon bond. Hydrolysis of 11 gives 4. Mechanistic studies suggest that both the Grignard and borane reactions proceed by initial weak coordination of Mg or B to the nitrido ligand, followed by migration of the carbanion to nitrogen. The hydrocarbyl group does not go to osmium and then move to nitrogen--there is no change in the atoms bound to the osmium during the reactions. It is suggested that there may be a general preference for nucleophiles to add directly to the metal--ligand multiple bond rather than binding to the metal first and migrating. Ab initio calculations show that the unusual reactivity of 1 results from its accessible LUMO and LUMO + 1, which are the Os = N pi* orbitals. The bonding in 1 and its reactivity with organoboranes are reminiscent of CO.  相似文献

Metallocene/MAO catalysts are useful for the production of syndiotactic polystyrene - a new class of high performance polymers. The melting point of the obtained syndiotactic polystyrene depends on the metallocene used and can reach up to 275 °C. In the past, the most active catalysts in polymerization have been half-sandwich titanocenes such as CpTiCl3 and Cp*TiCl3. If the chlorinated compounds are changed into the fluorinated compounds as CpTiF3 and Cp*TiF3, the activity increases by a factor of 5 to 100. The fluorinated titanocenes are more stable at higher temperatures and need a lower MAO excess in order to obtain optimal activities. Polymers obtained with the unsubstituted CpTiF3 show melting points which are 17 °C lower than those synthesized by pentamethylcyclopentadienyltitaniumtrifluoride. Especially Cp*TiF3 shows a much higher activity and, compared with the chlorinated compound, gives polymers with a higher molecular weight. Substituted cyclopentadienyltitanocenes have even higher activities. Ethene/styrene copolymers can be obtained by catalysis with zirconocene compounds.  相似文献

The synthesis of pyrano[3,2-a]acridines is presented, where 7-chloro-9-phenyl-2,3-dihydroacridin-4(1H)-one reacts with arylaldehydes and malononitrile in the presence of piperidine in ethanol, giving with high yield via a multicomponent method. Also a new synthesis of pyrazolo[4,3-a]acridines is reported, where 7-chloro-9-aryl-2,3-dihydroacridin-4(1H)-one on Claisen condensation with ethylformate followed by hydrazine hydrate treatment through the intermediate 7-chloro-4-hydroxy-9-aryl-1,2-dihydroacridin-3-carbaldehyde. The structures of newly synthesized compounds were deduced by spectroscopic techniques, elemental analysis, and single-crystal x-ray diffraction.  相似文献

The bonding modes of the ligand di‐2‐pyridyl ketoxime towards half‐sandwich arene ruthenium, Cp*Rh and Cp*Ir complexes were investigated. Di‐2‐pyridyl ketoxime {pyC(py)NOH} react with metal precursor [Cp*IrCl2]2 to give cationic oxime complexes of the general formula [Cp*Ir{pyC(py)NOH}Cl]PF6 ( 1a ) and [Cp*Ir{pyC(py)NOH}Cl]PF6 ( 1b ), for which two coordination isomers were observed by NMR spectroscopy. The molecular structures of the complexes revealed that in the major isomer the oxime nitrogen and one of the pyridine nitrogen atoms are coordinated to the central iridium atom forming a five membered metallocycle, whereas in the minor isomer both the pyridine nitrogen atoms are coordinated to the iridium atom forming a six membered metallacyclic ring. Di‐2‐pyridyl ketoxime react with [(arene)MCl2]2 to form complexes bearing formula [(p‐cymene)Ru{pyC(py)NOH}Cl]PF6 ( 2 ); [(benzene)Ru{pyC(py)NOH}Cl]PF6 ( 3 ), and [Cp*Rh{pyC(py)NOH}Cl]PF6 ( 4 ). In case of complex 3 the ligand coordinates to the metal by using oxime nitrogen and one of the pyridine nitrogen atoms, whereas in complex 4 both the pyridine nitrogen atoms are coordinated to the metal ion. The complexes were fully characterized by spectroscopic techniques.  相似文献
