The dyeing of cationized cotton fabric with Solfix E using colouring matter extracted from Cochineal dye has been studied using both conventional and ultrasonic techniques. Factors affecting dye extraction such as ultrasound power, particle size, extraction temperature and time were studied. The results indicated that the extraction by ultrasound at 300 W was more effective at lower temperature and time than conventional extraction. The effect of various factors of dye bath such as pH, salt concentration, ultrasound power, dyeing time and temperature were investigated. The colour strength values obtained were found to be higher with ultrasound than with conventional techniques. The results of fastness properties of the dyed fabrics were fair to good. The scanning electron microscope (SEM) images of the morphological and X-ray analyzes were measured for cationized cotton fabrics dyed with both conventional and ultrasound methods, thus showing the sonicator efficiency. 相似文献

Oxidation of 5-arylazo-6-aminoquinoline with copper sulphate in pyridine gives the corresponding 2-aryltriazolo[4.5-f]quinolines. Condensation of halogenated nitrobenzenes with triazolo- [4.5-f]quinoline yields the corresponding 2- and 3-derivatives. Imidazo[4.5-f]quinoline behaves similarly and furnishes the 3-derivative. Fatigue lifetime of HDPE structures such as pipes is recognized to show a large scatter. This study aims to compare different
statistical methods and distributions, in order to give convenient modeling of tensile and fatigue test results of commercially
available polyethylene compression molded sheets. The median rank, the maximum likelihood and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov fitting
are compared for the estimation of Weibull parameters. The choice of the best distribution to fit fatigue lifetime is discussed
on the basis of the goodness-of-fit results. It is found that whether the three-parameter distributions of Weibull and lognormal
types are suitable for lifetime prediction, the two-parameter Weibull is more conservative for probabilistic fatigue design. 相似文献

This work explores the application of digitalimage-processing techniques to the measurement of large plastic strains. Two
sample problems have been selected, namely the uniform tensile deformation of aluminum-sheet metal strips and the post-necking
deformation of copper circular rods. Images of these gridded metallic test pleces were captured, digitized and analyzed in
a fully computerized way to evaluate strain distributions, anisotropic parameters and plastic stress-strain flow curves. For
post-necked test pieces, Bridgman stress correction has been easily applied by defining the neck profile contour from the
automated processing of digitized images. Results compare satisfactorily with those based on displacements measured by conventional
microscopy. The presented technique, with added improvements, can consititute a viable one for accurate and fully computerized

Core-shell smart ionic nanogels based on poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) core and poly(N-isopropylacrylamide/acrylic acid) p(NIPAm-AAc) shell particles were successfully synthesized through a one-step surfactant-free emulsion polymerization method (SFEP). Different mole ratios of p(NIPAm-AAc) shells were synthesized. The morphologies of PVA/p(NIPAm-AAc) nanogels were investigated by transmission electron microscope (TEM). The data showed the formation of spherical nanoparticles and well-defined core-shell nanogels. PVA/p(NIPAm-AAc) core-shell nanogels were applied as a novel polymeric adsorbent to remove heavy metal pollutants from aqueous solution. Copper(II) (Cu2+) ions were selected as the target pollutant to evaluate these nanoparticles’ adsorption capability. The influence of the uptake conditions such as pH, weight ratio of nanoparticles, time, initial feed concentration, and adsorption temperature on the metal ion binding capacity of nanogels was also tested. Adsorption equilibrium data were calculated according to Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms. It was found that the sorption of Cu2+ was better suited to the Freundlich adsorption model than the Langmuir adsorption model. Also, the selectivity of the nanogels toward the different metal ions such lead (Pb2+) and cadmium (Cd2+) were tested. The maximum of Cu2+ ions adsorbed on to PVA/p(NIPAm-AAc) core-shell nanogels adsorbent was 94 mg/g obtained under simple and fast experimental conditions, indicating these nanogels can be used as effective and practical polymeric adsorbents. 相似文献

Copolymers of 2-acrylamido-2-methyl propane sulfonic acid and acrylic acid were crosslinked in the presence of different mol% of either vinyl trimethoxy silane (VTMS) as the crosslinking agent under acidic conditions or N,N-methylenebisacrylamide (MBA) as crosslinker using solution radical polymerization. The resultant xerogels were characterized by extracting the soluble fractions and measuring the equilibrium water content. Soluble fractions of the crosslinked networks were reduced by varying the MBA and VTMS concentrations. The surface morphology of the crosslinked polymers was observed by scanning electron microscope. The influence of pH on the swelling behavior of gels was investigated. The swelling behaviors of the resulting gels show pH sensitivity. 相似文献

Solid–liquid equilibria for binary mixtures of {methyl stearate (1) + biphenyl (2)}, {methyl stearate (1) + naphthalene (2)}, {methyl palmitate (1) + biphenyl (2)} and {methyl palmitate (1) + naphthalene (2)} were measured using differential scanning calorimeter. Simple eutectic behaviours for these systems were observed. The experimental results were correlated by means of the NRTL, Wilson, UNIQUAC and ideal models. The root-mean-square deviations of the solubility temperatures for all measured data vary from 0.5477 K (for UNIQUAC model) to 7.79 K; the deviations depend on the binary system studied and particular model used. The best solubility correlation was obtained with UNIQUAC model and this observation confirms previous results. 相似文献

The stereodivergent behavior of allenyl(cyano)- and allenyl(alkyl)cuprates toward aldehydes, providing a selective preparation of both syn- and anti-homopropargylic alcohols, is described. This study, which combines both experimental and theoretical support, shows that the copper nontransferred "dummy ligand" controls the localization of the lithium cation with respect to the allenylcuprate moiety. As a consequence, Li(+) acts as a Lewis acid activator but also controls the diastereoselectivity during the addition of allenylcuprates onto aldehydes. The combined high selectivity, efficiency, and versatility of these cuprate compounds opens the way to new one-pot synthetic procedures, as illustrated by the combined Klein rearrangement/transmetalation methodology described herein. 相似文献

o-Dihydroxy-3-(methylphenyl)-chromenones (coumarins; 3a–3c) were synthesized from trimethoxybenzaldehydes through a reaction with the corresponding methylphenyl-acrylonitrile in pyridine·HCl and then H3O+. Dihydroxycoumarins reacted with the ditosylate or dichloride derivatives of tri- or tetraethyleneglycols in the presence of CH3CN/Na2CO3 and macrocyclic ethers with a coumarin moiety were obtained. The chromatographically purified new coumarin-crown ethers (5a–5f) were identified by IR, 1H NMR, and Mass spectrometry. The binding constants of Na+ with the coumarin-crown ethers were determined in an 80 % dioxane/water binary solvent system at 25 °C from conductance measurements. 相似文献
