Three new Mn(II) coordination compounds {[Mn(NCNCN)(2)(azpy)]·0.5azpy}(n) (1), {[Mn(NCS)(2)(azpy)(CH(3)OH)(2)]·azpy}(n) (2), and [Mn(azpy)(2)(H(2)O)(4)][Mn(azpy)(H(2)O)(5)]·4PF(6)·H(2)O·5.5azpy (3) (where azpy = 4,4'-azobis(pyridine)) have been synthesized by self-assembly of the primary ligands, dicyanamide, thiocyanate, and hexafluorophosphate, respectively, together with azpy as the secondary spacer. All three complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectroscopy, thermal analyses, and single crystal X-ray crystallography. The structural analyses reveal that complex 1 forms a two-dimensional (2D) grid sheet motif. These sheets assemble to form a microporous framework that incorporates coordination-free azpy by host-guest π···π and C-H···N hydrogen bonding interactions. Complex 2 features azpy bridged one-dimensional (1D) chains of centrosymmetric [Mn(NCS)(2)(CH (3)OH)(2)] units which form a 2D porous sheet via a CH(3)···π supramolecular interaction. A guest azpy molecule is incorporated within the pores by strong H-bonding interactions. Complex 3 affords a 0-D motif with two monomeric Mn(II) units in the asymmetric unit. There exist π···π, anion···π, and strong hydrogen bonding interactions between the azpy, water, and the anions. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations, at the M06/6-31+G* level of theory, are used to characterize a great variety of interactions that explicitly show the importance of host-guest supramolecular interactions for the stabilization of coordination compounds and creation of the fascinating three-dimensional (3D) architecture of the title compounds. 相似文献

Fifty different carbon–hydrogen distances have been predicted from ab initio MP2/6-311+G(d,p) calculations, which range from a short value of 1.0611 Å for HCNO to a long value of 1.1044 Å for H2CO. The values include those predicted for a series of methyl (CH3) moieties where the two different C–H distances vary by as much as 0.005 Å. These predicted values are compared to r

We demonstrate that one can exhaustively determine the n‐bound eigenstates of a Hamiltonian H by constructing a sequence of supersymmetric (SUSY) partner Hamiltonians and invoking a time‐dependent quantum adiabatic switching algorithm for passage from the ground state of one to the other. The ground states of the initial pair H(0) and H(1) are constructed by solving the Riccati equation for the superpotential ?(0) for H(0) and adiabatically switching from the ground state Ψ of H(0) to the ground state Ψ of H(1). The charge operator Q is then used to recover the first excited state Ψ of H(0). The procedure is repeated for the ground states of SUSY pairs H(n + 1) and H(n + 2), and appropriate charge operators lead to the excited states Ψ of H(0) with , thereby exhausting the full eigenspectrum of H(0). We have investigated the effects of screened Coulomb (Yukawa) potentials on the bound 1,3D states and the doubly excited 1,3 De resonance states of helium atom using highly correlated exponential basis functions. The Density of resonance states are calculated using stabilization method. Highly correlated exponential basis functions are used to consider the correlation effect between the charged particles. A total of 18 resonances (nine each for 1 De and 3 De states) below the n = 2 He + threshold has been calculated. For each spin states, this includes four members in the 2pnp series, three members in the 2snd series, and two members in 2pnf series. The resonance energies and widths for various screening parameters ranging from infinity to a small value for these 1,3 De resonance states are reported along with the bound‐excited 1s3d 1,3 D state energies. Overall behavior of the spectral profile of 1s3d 1D state of helium atom due to electron‐electron and electron‐nucleus screening are also presented. A simple, rapid, and solvent-free method for quantitative determination of benzene, toluene, and Xylene in exposed Drosophila larvae was developed using headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME) coupled to GC/MS. Larvae fed on standard Drosophila food mixed with benzene, toluene, and Xylene for 48 h were homogenized in Milli-Q water. Extraction of benzene, toluene, and Xylene was performed at 65 degrees C for 30 min on the SPME fiber (silica-fused). Subsequently, the fiber was desorbed in the GC injection port, followed by GC/MS analysis in the selected-ion monitoring mode. An external calibration curve was used for the quantification of benzene, toluene, and Xylene in the exposed organism. Recoveries were in the range of 78-82% (intraday) and 76-81% (interday) in larvae, and 91-96% (intraday) and 87-92% (interday) in the diet. LOD with an S/N of 3:1 and LOQ with an S/N of 10:1 were in the range of 0.01-0.023 and 0.034-0.077 microg/L, respectively. Percent RSD values for benzene, toluene, and Xylene were in the range of 0.50-0.81 (intraday) and 0.89-1.23 (interday) for retention time, and 2.16--3.85 (intraday) and 2.99-4.95 (interday) for peak concentration, showing good repeatability. This method was sensitive enough to quantitate benzene, toluene, and Xylene in small exposed organisms like Drosophila larvae. Long chain calix[4]arene ethers have been examined for aggregation in nonaqueous solvents by using UV-vis molecular absorbance
spectroscopy. It has been observed that tetraalkylated (alkyl = hexadecyl and octadecyl, respectively) calix[4]arene ethers
tend to aggregate in chloroform and tetrahydrofuran, possibly via π–π stacking interactions of the phenyl moieties, and the aggregation process appears to be facilitated by the alkyl chains.
The analogous dialkylated compounds do not show any self-aggregation, plausibly due to strong hydrogen bonding between the
–OH and the –O– of calix aryl ether which seems to disrupt the aggregation process. Addition of the anionic surfactant sodium
dodecylsulfate (SDS) appears to hinder the aggregation process in nonpolar chloroform but the same surfactant facilitates
aggregation in the polar tetrahydrofuran. The cationic surfactant (cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide) and the nonionic surfactant
(Brij-35) have no effect on this aggregation process. Unexpectedly, SDS induces aggregation of dialkylated calix[4]arene ethers
in chloroform. It has been observed that the aggregated form of the tetraalkylated calix[4]arene ethers tend to increase the

Four cis-dioxomolybdenum complexes of general formula [MoO2(Ln)EtOH] (n = 1–4) and one oxomolybdenum(IV) complex [MoO(L4)EtOH], with potentially tridentate Schiff bases derived from 5-methyl pyrazole-3-carbohydrazide and salicylaldehyde/substituted salicylaldehyde/o-hydroxy acetophenone have been prepared. The Mo(IV) complex is derived from the Mo(VI) dioxo complex by oxotransfer reaction with PPh3. The complexes are characterized by elemental analysis, electronic spectra, IR, 1H NMR, and by cyclic voltammetry. All the Mo(VI) species are crystallographically characterized. The complexes have a distorted octahedral structure in which the ligand behaves as a binegative donor one, leaving the pyrazole –N uncoordinated towards the metal center. The reaction of cis-Ru(acac)2(CH3CN)2 (acac = acetylacetonate) with 2,2'-dipyridylamine (L) in ethanolic medium resulted in facile one-pot synthesis of stable [(acac)2RuIII(L)]ClO4 ([1]ClO4), trans-[(acac)2RuII(L)2] (2), trans-[(acac)2RuIII)L)2]ClO4 ([2]ClO4), and cis-[(acac)2RuII(L)2] (3). The bivalent congener 1 was generated via electrochemical reduction of [1]ClO4. Although in [1]+ the dipyridylamine ligand (L) is bonded to the metal ion in usual bidentate fashion, in 2/[2]+ and 3, the unusual monodentate binding mode of L has been preferentially stabilized. Moreover, in 2/[2]+ and 3, two such monodentate L's have been oriented in the trans- and cis-configurations, respectively. The binding mode of L and the isomeric geometries of the complexes were established by their single-crystal X-ray structures. The redox stability of the Ru(II) state follows the order 1 < 2 < 3. In contrast to the magnetic moment obtained for [1]ClO4, mu = 1.84 muB at 298 K, typical for low-spin Ru(III) species, the compound [2]ClO4 exhibited an anomalous magnetic moment of 2.71 muB at 300 K in the solid state. The variable-temperature magnetic measurements showed a pronounced decrease of the magnetic moment with the temperature, and that dropped to 1.59 muB at 3 K. The experimental data can be fitted satisfactorily using eq 2 that considered nonquenched spin-orbit coupling and Weiss constant in addition to the temperature-independent paramagnetism. [1]ClO4 and [2]ClO4 displayed rhombic and axial EPR spectra, respectively, in both the solid and the solution states at 77 K. 相似文献
