Charged particle spectra upon interaction between 50.5 MeV <Superscript>3</Superscript>He ions and <Superscript>27</Superscript>Al nuclei

The inclusive spectra of light charged particles formed upon interaction between 50.5 MeV ³Не ions and ²⁷Al nuclei are studied. The experimental results are analyzed using the exciton model of nucleus decay, with the PRECO-2006 code describing the transition of an excited system to equilibrium state. The contributions from composite, pre-equilibrium, and direct processes of integral cross section formation are calculated. Determination of these mechanisms is of interest to both fundamental nuclear physics and different areas of application, particularly the nuclear transmutation of long-lived radioactive contamination.     

Reaction of trans-[RuNO(NH3)4(OH)]Cl2 with nitric acid and synthesis of ammine(nitrato)nitrosoruthenium complexes

The reaction of trans-[RuNO(NH₃)₄(OH)]Cl₂ with nitric acid has been studied. Reaction products have been identified by IR spectroscopy, NMR, mass spectrometry, powder and single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and chemical analysis. Synthesis methods have been developed for amminenitrosoruthenium complexes containing outer-sphere and coordinated nitrate ions: trans-[RuNO(NH₃)₄(H₂O)](NO₃)₃ (I), trans-[RuNO(NH₃)₄(NO₃)](NO₃)₂ (II), and fac-[RuNO(NH₃)₂(NO₃)₃] (III). Complex II has two polymorphs: monoclinic and tetragonal. The latter has been studied by X-ray crystallography.     

Kolmogorov space in time series data

We provide the proof that the space of time series data is a Kolmogorov space with T₀‐separation axiom using the loop space of time series data. In our approach, we define a cyclic coordinate of intrinsic time scale of time series data after empirical mode decomposition. A spinor field of time series data comes from the rotation of data around price and time axis by defining a new extradimension to time series data. We show that there exist hidden eight dimensions in Kolmogorov space for time series data. Our concept is realized as the algorithm of empirical mode decomposition and intrinsic time scale decomposition, and it is subsequently used for preliminary analysis on the real time series data. trans-dinitro- and trans-dinitratoruthenium complexes [RuNO(NH3)2(NO2)2(OH)] and [RuNO(NH3)2(H2O)(NO3)2]NO3·H2O

Methods for the synthesis of trans-diammino complexes [RuNO(NH₃)₂(NO₂)₂(OH)] (I) and [RuNO(NH₃)₂(H₂O)(NO₃)₂](NO₃)·H₂O (II) are suggested. The compounds were studied by IR spectroscopy and X-ray phase and X-ray structural analyses. Crystal data: space group P-1; a = 6.2328(2) ?, b = 11.0488(3) ?, c = 11.0981(4) ?, α = 71.942(1)°, β = 83.291(1)°, γ = 86.877(1)° (I); space group P2₁; a = 6.6290(2) ?, b = 13.4389(5) ?, c = 7.0180(2) ?, β 114.281(1)° (II). Structure of [RuNO(NH3)3(H2O)Cl](NO3)2, product of interaction between hydroxonitrotriamminenitrosoruthenium(II) chloride and nitric acid

The structure of the product formed on boiling [RuNO(NH₃)₃(NO₂)(OH)]Cl·0.5H₂O in 3 M HNO₃ is determined by XRD. The crystals belong to monoclinic symmetry. Crystallographic data for H₁₁ClN₆O₈Ru are: a = 13.7924(4) ?, b = 6.9114(2) ?, c = 12.3577(4) ?, β = 111.863(1)°, V = 1093.27(6) ?³, Z = 4, d _calc = 2.185 g/cm³, space group Cc. The structure is built of complex [RuNO(NH₃)₃(H₂O)Cl]²⁺ cations and NO₃⁻ anions. The compound is studied by IR spectroscopy and X-ray phase analysis. Original Russian Text Copyright ? 2009 by V. A.
