Compounds 1 and 2 are novel synthons for bispropionate synthesis, undergoing stereospecific Lewis acid-catalyzed transfer of the bispropionate unit with a variety of aldehydes, including alpha-chiral aldehydes. Thus 1 leads to the E-alkene bispropionate 3 with anti-stereochemistry, whereas diastereomer 2 gives the Z-alkene product 4, under mild conditions and with complete stereospecificity. The efficacy of this methodology is demonstrated in a short synthesis of invictolide beginning with 2 and (R)-2-methylpentanal.  相似文献

The structure of (eta2-diphenylacetylene)Pt(PPh3) (2), as well as those of its dichloromethane and benzene solvates, is determined via X-ray crystallography. An investigation of the chemical shift (CS) tensors of the 13C-labeled carbons in Ph13C13CPh and (eta2-Ph13C13CPh)Pt(PPh3)2.(C6H6) is carried out via analysis of 13C NMR spectra from stationary solid samples. The principal components of the CS tensors as well as their orientations with respect to the 13C,13C internuclear vector are determined. DFT calculations of these CS tensors are in close agreement with the experimental values. For diphenylacetylene (tolane), the orientations and principal-component magnitudes of the alkynyl carbon CS tensors are comparable to those for other alkynyl carbons, although the CS tensor is not axially symmetric in this case. Coordination to platinum causes a change in the CS tensor orientation and a net increase in the isotropic chemical shift, resulting from a significant increase in two principal components (delta11 and delta33) while the third (delta22) decreases only slightly. The measured carbon CS tensors in the platinum complex bear a striking similarity to those of the alkenyl carbons in trans-Ph(H)C=C(H)Ph, and a short theoretical discussion of these observations is presented.  相似文献

The work function of indium tin oxide (ITO) substrates was modified with phosphonic acid molecular films. The ITO surfaces were treated prior to functionalization with a base cleaning procedure. The film growth and coverage were quantified by contact angle goniometry and XPS. Film orientation was determined by reflection/absorption infrared spectroscopy using ITO-on-Cr substrates. The absolute work functions of nitrophenyl- and cyanophenyl-phosphonic acid films in ITO were determined by Kelvin probe measurement to be 5.60 and 5.77 eV, respectively.  相似文献

The solid state structure of 1,1'-bis(verdazyl)ferrocene reveals the two radical moieties associated intramolecularly to give the first example of a pi-dimer of a stable verdazyl radical. The pi-dimer structure is not maintained in solution. Magnetic characterization indicates that the radicals are sufficiently strongly antiferromagnetically coupled so as to render the molecule diamagnetic at room temperature.  相似文献

We show that it is feasible to use a minicoil for solid-state 19F 1H NMR experiments that has short pulse widths, good RF homogeneity, and excellent signal-to-noise for small samples while using low power amplifiers typical to liquid-state NMR. The closely spaced resonant frequencies of 1H and 19F and the ubiquitous use of fluorine in modern plastics and electronic components present two major challenges in the design of a high-sensitivity, high-field 1H/19F probe. Through the selection of specific components, circuit design, and pulse sequence, we were able to build a probe that has low 19F background and excellent separation of 1H and 19F signals. We determine the principle components of the chemical shift anisotropy tensor of 5-fluoroindole-3-acetic acid (5FIAA) and 5-fluorotryptophan. We also solve the crystal structure of 5FIAA, determine the orientation dependence of the chemical shift of a single crystal of 5FIAA, and predict the 19F chemical shift based on the orientation of the fluorine in the crystal. The results show that this 1H/19F probe is suitable for solid-state NMR experiments with low amounts of biological molecules that have been labeled with 19F.  相似文献

The bridging fluoroolefin ligands in the complexes [Ir(2)(CH(3))(CO)(2)(μ-olefin)(dppm)(2)][OTf] (olefin = tetrafluoroethylene, 1,1-difluoroethylene; dppm = μ-Ph(2)PCH(2)PPh(2); OTf(-) = CF(3)SO(3)(-)) are susceptible to facile fluoride ion abstraction. Both fluoroolefin complexes react with trimethylsilyltriflate (Me(3)SiOTf) to give the corresponding fluorovinyl products by abstraction of a single fluoride ion. Although the trifluorovinyl ligand is bound to one metal, the monofluorovinyl group is bridging, bound to one metal through carbon and to the other metal through a dative bond from fluorine. Addition of two equivalents of Me(3)SiOTf to the tetrafluoroethylene-bridged species gives the difluorovinylidene-bridged product [Ir(2)(CH(3))(OTf)(CO)(2)(μ-OTf)(μ-C=CF(2))(dppm)(2)][OTf]. The 1,1-difluoroethylene species is exceedingly reactive, reacting with water to give 2-fluoropropene and [Ir(2)(CO)(2)(μ-OH)(dppm)(2)][OTf] and with carbon monoxide to give [Ir(2)(CO)(3)(μ-κ(1):η(2)-C≡CCH(3))(dppm)(2)][OTf] together with two equivalents of HF. The trifluorovinyl product [Ir(2)(κ(1)-C(2)F(3))(OTf)(CO)(2)(μ-H)(μ-CH(2))(dppm)(2)][OTf], obtained through single C-F bond activation of the tetrafluoroethylene-bridged complex, reacts with H(2) to form trifluoroethylene, allowing the facile replacement of one fluorine in C(2)F(4) with hydrogen.  相似文献

The synthesis of three heptacyclic heteroacenes is described, namely anthra[2,3-b:7,6-b']bis[1]benzothiophenes (ABBTs). A stepwise sequence of aldol reactions provides regiochemical control, affording only the syn-isomer. The ABBTs are characterized by X-ray crystallography, UV-vis absorption, and emission spectroscopy, as well as cyclic voltammetry. Field effect transistors based on solution-cast thin films of ABBT derivatives exhibit charge-carrier mobilities of as high as 0.013 cm(2)/(V s).  相似文献

A family of homo-valent [Co(II)(7)(OH)(6)(L(1))(6)](NO(3))(2) (1), [(MeOH)(2) is a subset of Co(II)(7)(OH)(6)(L(1))(6)](NO(3))(2) (2) (where L(1)H = 2-iminomethyl-6-methoxyphenol) and hetero-valent [(NO(3))(2) is a subset of Co(III)Co(II)(6)(OH)(6)(L(2))(6)](NO(3))·3MeCN (4) (where L(2)H = 2-iminophenyl-6-methoxyphenol) complexes possess metallic skeletons describing planar hexagonal discs. Their organic exteriors form double-bowl shaped topologies, and coupled with their 3-D connectivity, this results in the formation of molecular cavities in the solid state. These confined spaces are shown to behave as host units in the solid state for guests including solvent molecules and charge balancing counter anions. Magnetic susceptibility measurements on 2 and 4 reveal weak ferro- and ferrimagnetism, respectively. The utilisation of other Co(II) salt precursors gives rise to entirely different species including the mononuclear and trinuclear complexes [Co(II)(L(2))(2)] (5) and [Co(III)(2)Na(I)(1)(L(3))(6)](BF(4)) (6) (where L(3)H = 2-iminomethyl-4-bromo-6-methoxyphenol).  相似文献

Polyynes spanning from a diyne to a dodecayne with adamantyl endgroups have been synthesized using the Fritsch–Buttenberg–Wiechell rearrangement as a key step to construct the acetylenic framework. Molecular properties as a function of polyyne length have been analyzed by UV–Vis spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, differential scanning calorimetry, and X‐ray crystallography.
