A simple High performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method for the specific determination of the molecular weight and concentration of hyaluronic acid (HA) in complex mixtures has been developed. Hyaluronate-binding proteins isolated from bovine cartilage labelled by 125I or fluoresceinisothiocyanate were used as specific markers. The specific binding affinities of the markers were compared and were found to have association constants of 1.6 x 10(7) M-1 and 1.2 x 10(7) M-1 respectively. The HA levels and molecular weight distributions can be easily determined in the range 10-500 ng/mL in complex mixtures by the use of markers, molecular sieving HPLC columns and appropriate detectors. It has been demonstrated clearly that the method is useful for the highly specific determination of the parameters in complex biological samples such as serum and synovial fluids and is recommended for clinical applications.  相似文献

We present the results of analysis of the data of vertical ionospheric sounding at the Zimenki test site (Nizhny Novgorod). The January and July ionograms are used to plot the dependences of the number of “sickle” type disturbances on the time of the day for the period from 1996 to 1992. A comparison with the scattering in an ionospheric F-layer for the same period is performed. A trend in the time series of the phenomenon observed is recorded. A three-phase model of a hybrid chiral quark bag is proposed. In addition to the phases of asymptotically free current quarks and of totally colorless mesons, the model contains the intermediate phase of massive constituent quarks. A self-consistent solution with an account for the “Dirac sea” contribution is found in the (1+1)-dimensional case. The dependence of the bag parameters on the parameters of the theory is investigated analytically and numerically. Studies of breakdown threshold intensity for air at various pressures in the range of 24–760 torr using 0.355, 0.532 and 1.06 μm radiation are reported. We observep −0.8 scaling ofI th at 1.06 μm and a weak scaling ofp −0.4 at 0.532 and 0.355 μm radiation. It is predicted that resonance coupling between two discrete electron energy levels corresponding to different size-quantization quantum numbers and different Landau quantum numbers can occur in a quantum well in a quantizing magnetic field. The resonance coupling is due to the interaction of an electron with LO phonons and results in the formation of polaron states of a new type. It is shown that for a certain value of the magnetic field, which depends on the splitting of the electron size-quantization levels, the absorption peak and the two-phonon resonance Raman scattering peak split into two components, the separation between which is determined by the electron-phonon coupling constant. The resonance coupling between size-quantization levels with the same Landau quantum numbers is also studied. The splitting of the peaks in this case is virtually independent of the magnetic field and can be observed in much weaker fields. The experimental observation of the effect will make it possible to determine the relative position of the electronic levels and the electron-phonon coupling constant. Pis’ma Zh. éksp. Teor.
