Tests of antiproliferative activity of Mannich adducts of aromatic nucleophiles and a chiral bicyclic imine revealed a di-tert-butylphenol derivative as a promising compound for further exploration. To study the influence of substitution pattern and a configuration of stereogenic centers on the inhibition of cancer cell growth, a series of Mannich bases were obtained with a good to high diastereoselectivity from the reaction of the imine and three isomeric di-tert-butylphenols. Six new enantiopure adducts were isolated and fully characterized. Selected derivatives were shown to exhibit an interesting antiproliferative activity comparable to cisplatin. 相似文献

In this study we report on the electronic contributions to the linear and nonlinear static electronic electric dipole properties, namely the dipole moment (μ), the polarizability (α), and the first-hyperpolarizability (β), of spatially confined LiH molecule in its ground X (1)Σ(+) state. The finite-field technique is applied to estimate the corresponding energy and dipole moment derivatives with respect to external electric field. Various forms of confining potential, of either spherical or cylindrical symmetry, are included in the Hamiltonian in the form of one-electron operator. The computations are performed at several levels of approximation including the coupled-cluster methods as well as multi-configurational (full configuration interaction) and explicitly correlated Gaussian wavefunctions. The performance of Kohn-Sham density functional theory for the selected exchange-correlation functionals is also discussed. In general, the orbital compression effects lead to a substantial reduction in all the studied properties regardless of the symmetry of confining potential, however, the rate of this reduction varies depending on the type of applied potential. Only in the case of dipole moment under a cylindrical confinement a gradual increase of its magnitude is observed. 相似文献

Chiral effects for the inhibition of acetylcholinesterase by organophosphorus pesticides were investigated for insecticide malathion and malaoxon, which is a metabolic product of malathion in living organisms. Studies were carried out using a bienzymatic biosensor with immobilized acetylcholinesterase, choline oxidase, and with Prussian Blue used as a mediator. In both cases the R enantiomers accelerate acetylocholinesterase inhibition. The chiral effect in inhibition was much more pronounced in fast flow measurements than in batch measurements. 相似文献

Phenolic compounds and thiamine may serve as therapies against oxidative stress-related neurodegenerative diseases. However, it is important to note that these components show high instability under changing conditions. The study’s aim was to determine the impact of the thiamine concentration (hydrochloride—TH and pyrophosphate—TP; in the range 0.02 to 20 mg/100 g on the indices of the chelating properties and reducing power, and free radicals scavenging indices of EGCG, EGC, ECG and caffeine added from 0.04 to 6.0 mg/100 g. Our research confirmed that higher concentrations of TH and TP can exhibit significant activity against the test antioxidant indices of all components. When above 5.0 mg/100 g of thiamine was used, the radical scavenging abilities of the compound decreased in the following order: EGCG > ECG > EGC > caffeine. The highest correlation was found for the concentration of thiamine pyrophosphate to 20.0 mg/100 g and EGCG. Knowledge of the impact of factors associated with the concentration of both EGCG, EGC, ECG or caffeine and thiamine on their activity could carry weight in regulating the quality supplemented foods, especially of nutrition support for people of all ages were oral, enteral tube feeding and parenteral nutrition). 相似文献

The present study compared the effects of natural senescence and methyl jasmonate (JA-Me) treatment on the levels of terpene trilactones (TTLs; ginkgolides and bilobalide), phenolic acids, and flavonoids in the primary organs of Ginkgo biloba leaves, leaf blades, and petioles. Levels of the major TTLs, ginkgolides B and C, were significantly higher in the leaf blades of naturally senesced yellow leaves harvested on 20 October compared with green leaves harvested on 9 September. In petioles, a similar effect was found, although the levels of these compounds were almost half as high. These facts indicate the importance of the senescence process on TTL accumulation. Some flavonoids and phenolic acids also showed changes in content related to maturation or senescence. Generally, the application of JA-Me slightly but substantially increased the levels of TTLs in leaf blades irrespective of the difference in its application side on the leaves. Of the flavonoids analyzed, levels of quercetin, rutin, quercetin-4-glucoside, apigenin, and luteolin were dependent on the JA-Me application site, whereas levels of (+) catechin and (−) epicatechin were not. Application of JA-Me increased ferulic acid and p-coumaric acid esters in the petiole but decreased the levels of these compounds in the leaf blade. The content of p-coumaric acid glycosides and caffeic acid esters was only slightly modified by JA-Me. In general, JA-Me application affected leaf senescence by modifying the accumulation of ginkogolides, flavonoids, and phenolic acids. These effects were also found to be different in leaf blades and petioles. Based on JA-Me- and aging-related metabolic changes in endogenous levels of the secondary metabolites in G. biloba leaves, we discussed the results of study in the context of basic research and possible practical application. 相似文献

Electronic structure and optical properties of the Ce3? in YAG has been investigated by standard spectroscopy (photoluminescence, absorption and excitation spectra) and high pressure spectroscopy. The bandshape of the emission spectrum for different pressures has been analyzed and influence of pressure on energy of the 5d1 states and the electron-lattice coupling have been determined. The significant red shift of the peak of the emission band (the respective pressure coefficient has been equal to—12cm?1/kbar) has been obtained. The shift has been understood by taking into account pressure induced increase of the 5d1 level splitting and increase of the electron-lattice coupling strength. 相似文献

The purpose of this work was to check the degree of overlap between rare inborn errors of metabolism and other neurological disorders using principal component analysis of proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H MRS) in vivo data. We examined 60 patients (median age of 22 months). Fourteen of them were diagnosed with neurometabolic disorders (three cases of metachromatic leukodystrophy, two cases of Canavan disease, two cases of megalencephalic leukoencephalopathy with subcortical cysts, three cases of mitochondrial cytopathy, one case of nonketotic hyperglycinemia, one case of globoid leukodystrophy, one case of congenital disorders of glycosylation, and one case of ethylmalonic encephalopathy). The remaining 46 patients were diagnosed with epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and developmental delay. Results obtained from principal component analysis of complete unresolved 1H MRS in vivo spectra were interpreted parallelly with LCModel‐derived metabolite levels. The main attention was paid to the following metabolites: N‐acetylaspartate, glutamate + glutamine, creatine, choline, myo‐inositol signal with an uncertain contribution of glycine, and glucose. 1H MRS in vivo coupled with multivariate analysis is an efficient tool in visualization of metabolic abnormalities in several inborn errors of metabolism (metachromatic leukodystrophy, globoid leukodystrophy, megalencephalic leukoencephalopathy with subcortical cysts, and Canavan disease). We are presenting the application of CE technique with dual‐channel LIF detection for the simultaneous separation of DNA fragments labeled with two different fluorescence dyes. The optimal conditions of the analysis were determined for the separation of amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) fragments labeled with 5′‐6‐carboxyfluorescein (6‐FAM) and the DNA size standard labeled with sulfoindocyanine succinimidyl ester (Cy‐5). CE equipped with both argon ion and diode lasers is a good alternative for sequencers and might be applied in analyses of PCR products generated by various fingerprinting methods. 相似文献

This paper presents a non-iterative, fast, and almost automated time-data analysis method for NMR spectroscopy, based on a new adaptive implementation of high resolution methods used in spectral subbands. It is intended to avoid the choice of the decimation factor (or the width of the spectral windows) which, in the case of a uniform decomposition, strongly conditions the estimation results, and to diminish the computational burden. It is achieved through successive decimation/estimation stages each followed by a test procedure in order to decide whether or not the process should continue. The proposed test is based on a local spectral flatness measure of the estimation residuals. This stop-criterion involves an a posteriori validation of the estimation, thus the method proposed allows one to obtain a better detection rate at a lower complexity comparatively to other stopping rules, while preserving a reasonable estimation variance. Moreover, the reliability of the fitting algorithms considered is improved, by decreasing the influence of the model order and the number of false detections. Finally, the method is more efficient than Fourier transform (FT) at low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The effectiveness of the method is demonstrated by analyzing a simulation signal and raw carbon-13 experimental data. 相似文献
