We study, both experimentally and theoretically, the generation of a dc spinmotive force. By exciting a ferromagnetic resonance of a comb-shaped ferromagnetic thin film, a continuous spinmotive force is generated. Experimental results are well reproduced by theoretical calculations, offering a quantitative and microscopic understanding of this spinmotive force.  相似文献

We numerically model the conductivity of a two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG) in the presence of the Rashba spin–orbit (SO) interaction in the diffusive transport regime. We performed simulation using samples which width W and length L are up to 200 and 30 000, respectively, on a tight-binding square lattice. When the system is in the diffusive regime, the quadratic increase of the conductivity with SO interaction strength λSO derived previously by Born approximation is reproduced except for very weak SO interaction. In order to obtain satisfactory agreement between numerical and analytical results, the sample width and length should be much larger than the mean free path ℓ but the length should be shorter than the localization length ξ, e.g. 4ℓW and 10ℓLξ. The anomaly at weak SO interaction is also observed in the conductance fluctuation and the localization length, and is attributed to the finite size crossover from symplectic to orthogonal class with decreasing SO interaction. The typical values of the SO interaction characterizing the crossover obtained for ℓ48 are λSO1.0/W and 0.2/W when we impose open and periodic boundary conditions, respectively.  相似文献

Novel bisphenol A (BPA)-degrading bacterial strains, designated as BP-2CK, BP-21DK, and BP-22DK, were isolated from kimchi, a traditionally fermented food. These isolates were identified as Bacillus pumilus and efficiently degraded BPA in a medium supplemented with nutrients such as peptone, beef extract, and yeast extract. Strains BP-2CK, BP-21DK, and BP-22DK successfully degraded 25, 25, and 50 ppm of BPA, respectively, and all strains exhibited BPA-degrading activity in the presence of 10% NaCl. Accumulation of the metabolites including 4-hydroxyacetophenone, one of the intermediates produced by the other BPA-degrading bacteria, was not observed in BPA degradation by the isolated strains. These results indicate that the isolated food-derived bacteria are applicable for the construction of efficient and safer systems for the removal of BPA.  相似文献

Vibrational sum frequency generation (SFG) spectroscopy was applied to study the phase transitions of the mixed monolayers of l-alpha-distearoyl phosphatidylethanolamine (DSPE) and DSPE covalently coupled with poly(ethylene oxide) at the amino head group (DSPE-EO(45), DSPE with 45 ethylene oxide monomers) at the air-water interface. The SFG spectra were measured for the mixed monolayers with the mole fractions of DSPE-EO(45) of 0, 1.3, 4.5, 9.0, 12.5, and 16.7% at the surface pressures of 5, 15, and 35 mN/m. The monolayer compression isotherms indicated that the mixed monolayers at 5, 15, are 35 mN/m are mainly in the so-called "pancake", "mushroom", and "brush" states, respectively. The SFG spectra in the OH stretching vibration region give rise to SFG bands near 3200 and 3400 cm(-1). The mean molecular amplitude of the former band due to the OH stretching of the "icelike" water molecules associated mainly with the hydrophilic poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) chains, exhibits appreciable decrease on compression of the mixed monolayers from 5 to 15 mN/m. The result corroborates the model for the pancake-mushroom transition, which presumes the dissolution of the PEO chains from the air-water interface to the water subphase. Further compression of the mixed monolayers to 35 mN/m causes a slight decrease of the line amplitude, which can be explained by considering a squeezing out of water molecules from the hydrophilic groups of DSPE-EO(45) in the brush state, where the PEO chains strongly interact with each other to form a tight binding state of the hydrophilic groups. The relative intensities of the SFG bands due to the CH3 asymmetric and symmetric vibrations were used to estimate the tilt angles of the terminal methyl group of DSPE, indicating that the angle increases with increasing the mole fraction of DSPE-EO(45). The angles almost saturate at the mole fraction larger than 10%, the saturation angle being nearly 90 degrees at 5 mN/m, ca. 60 degrees at 15 mN/m, and ca. 47 degrees at 35 mN/ m. Then, the introduction of the hydrophilic PEO head group causes a large tilting of the alkyl groups of DEPE in the mixed monolayers.  相似文献

Pumping of charge current by spin dynamics in the presence of the Rashba spin-orbit interaction is theoretically studied. Considering a disordered electron, the exchange coupling and spin-orbit interactions are treated perturbatively. It is found that the dominant current induced by spin dynamics is interpreted as a consequence of the conversion from spin current via the inverse spin Hall effect. We also find that the current has an additional component from a fictitious conservative field. The results are applied to the case of a moving domain wall.  相似文献

In the present paper, the authors study the primary reactions of coal volatiles and a detailed mechanism has been made for three different environments: thermal decomposition (pyrolysis), partial oxidation (O2) and O2/CO2 gasification in a plug flow reactor to analyze the combustion component. The computed results have similar trend for three different environments with the experimental data. A systematically reduced mechanism for O2/CO2 gasification has also been derived by examination of Rate of Production (ROP) analysis from the detailed mechanism (255 species and 1095 reactions). The reduced mechanism shows similar result and has been validated by comparing the calculated concentrations of H2, CH4, H2O, CO, CO2 and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) with those of the detailed mechanism in a wide range of operating conditions. The authors also predicted the concentration profiles of H2, CO, CO2 and PAH at high temperature and high pressure.  相似文献

A hybrid macrocycle composed of two bipyridines and two dipyrrins gave biscobalt complexes of figure eight macrocycle conformation with κ2-carboxylate ligands and water ligands at the axial sites. The axial acetate ligands of the biscobalt complex are readily exchanged with carboxylates of α-hydroxyl acids and α-amino acids. The chiral center of the axial carboxylate ligands controls the helical handedness of the macrocycle as evidenced by a typical CD couplet at 550 nm. The substitution labile nature of the biscobalt complex plays a key role for helical chirality induction on the macrocycle upon co-ordination of chiral carboxylate anions.  相似文献

Complexes of novel alkyne-chelating tridentate ligands bound to a rhodium atom were isolated and characterised. The present alkyne-rhodium complex underwent dimerisation simply by heating to afford the unprecedented cyclobutadiene dirhodium complex.
