Under hot-electron conditions, noise arises both from fluctuations in the carrier velocity and the carrier collision time. The magnitudes of these two contributions are calculated by the Monte-Carlo method for InSb at 77°K.  相似文献

An iterative calculation of the warm electron coefficient is presented considering polar mode scattering in a parabolic band. Electron-electron collisions are assumed strong enough to establish a Maxwellian distribution function. The interaction between tearing modes with the mode numbersm=1,n=1 andm=2,n=2 is investigated for different initial amplitudes of the modes, using a single helicity approximation, a step-current profile and a time-independent resistivity. The results of investigation of the variation of radio signal strengths during the solar eclipse on July 22, 2009 are reported in this paper. Observations of the radio signals transmitted from different radio stations at different frequencies and received at a particular observing site indicate a distinct change in signal strength around the time the eclipse umbra passes the propagation paths. The three types of variations in the eclipse day and particularly during its peak period are different from propagation under normal condition. The phenomena of signal variations, the noted “Inverted U-shape“ at one of the frequencies before the occurrence of the eclipse and 13 to 15 minutes time difference between the enhancement of the signal strength and the onset of eclipse are some interesting characteristics. The results are interpreted by ionospheric D-layer behavior at such times.  相似文献

Two ligand‐protected nanoscale silver moieties, [Ag46(SPhMe2)24(PPh3)8](NO3)2 and [Ag40(SPhMe2)24(PPh3)8](NO3)2 (abbreviated as Ag46 and Ag40, respectively) with almost the same shell but different cores were synthesized simultaneously. As their external structures are identical, the clusters were not distinguishable and become co‐crystallized. The occupancy of each cluster was 50 %. The outer shell of both is composed of Ag32S24P8, which is reminiscent of fullerenes, and it encapsulates a well‐studied core, Ag14 and a completely new core, Ag8, which correspond to a face‐centered cube and a simple cube, respectively, resulting in the Ag46 and Ag40 clusters. The presence of two entities (Ag40 and Ag46 clusters) in a single crystal and their molecular formulae were confirmed by detailed electrospray ionization mass spectrometry. The optical spectrum of the mixture showed unique features which were in good agreement with the results from time‐dependent density functional theory (TD‐DFT).  相似文献

Herein, we report the synthesis of anthracene-containing twisted cyclo[2]dipyrrin 1 by utilizing a non-planar building block, 1,5-dipyrrylanthracene (1,5-DPA). The non-planar nature of the macrocycle enhanced the solubility and helped in structural characterization. Macrocycle 1 adopts a twisted ‘figure of eight’ conformation stabilized by strong intramolecular H-bonding interactions and exists as a pair of helical enantiomers, as revealed by X-ray crystallographic analysis. More importantly, the sterically locked structure enabled facile optical resolution using chiral HPLC. The (P,P) and (M,M) enantiomers show moderate chiroptical properties, such as absorption dissymmetry factors |gabs| in the order of 10−3, and luminescence dissymmetry factors |glum| of 3.8×10−3 and 2.9×10−3 at 702 nm, respectively.  相似文献

HL and MeL are prepared by condensing benzil dihydrazone with 2-formylpyridine and 2-acetylpyridine, respectively, in 1:2 molar proportions. While in a reaction with [Ru(C(6)H(6))Cl(2)]2, HL yields the cation [Ru(C(6)H(6)){5,6-diphenyl-3-(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazine}Cl]+, MeL gives the cation [Ru(C(6)H(6))(MeL)Cl]+. Both the cations are isolated as their hexafluorophosphate salts and characterised by X-ray crystallography. In the case of HL, double domino electrocyclic/elimination reactions are found to occur. The electrocyclic reaction occurs in a C=N-N=C-C=N fragment of HL and the elimination reaction involves breaking of a C-H bond of HL. Density functional calculations on model complexes indicate that the identified electrocyclic reaction is thermochemically as well as kinetically feasible for both HL and MeL in the gas phase. For a double domino reaction, similar to that operative in HL, to occur for MeL, breaking of a C-C bond would be required in the elimination step. Our model calculations show the energy barrier for this elimination step to be much higher (329.1 kJ mol(-1)) for MeL than that for HL (96.3 kJ mol(-1)). Thus, the domino reaction takes place for HL and not for MeL. This accounts for the observed stability of [Ru(C(6)H(6))(MeL)Cl]+ under the reaction conditions employed.  相似文献

A polymer–surfactant micellar complex has been studied as a fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) donor to fluorescein‐labeled DNA (ssDNA‐Fl). In water, the molar absorptivity and fluorescence quantum efficiency of cationic poly(fluorene‐co‐phenylene) (c‐PFP) are substantially increased in the presence of non‐ionic surfactants. A TEM microscopic study shows the formation of a nanowire micellar complex of c‐PFP and the surfactants. About a 400% enhancement of the FRET signal is measured in c‐PFP/ssDNA‐Fl with Brij 30, relative to that without surfactants. The signal amplification is successfully modulated using different types of non‐ionic surfactants which perturb the complexation, fine‐structure of the complex (i.e., donor‐acceptor separation), and the resulting energy transfer process.

The rate of loss of the energy of non-equilibrium electrons due to inelastic interaction with intravalley acoustic phonons in a degenerate surface layer is calculated for low temperatures when the approximations of the well-known traditional theory are not valid. The loss characteristics for GaAs and Si seem to be significantly different compared to what follows from the traditional approximations.  相似文献
