A chiral bis(oxazoline) ligand was immobilized onto a magnetically separable hierarchically-ordered mesocellular mesoporous silica (M-HMMS) and this new catalytic system was examined in the asymmetric Henry reaction between various aldehydes and nitromethane at ambient temperature. Good enantioselectivity (upto 86.0% ee) was observed when the free silanol groups of the mesoporous silica were capped by trimethylsilyl group. This catalyst was separated magnetically and reused several times without significant loss of reactivity or enantioselectivity. This magnetic separation of catalysts could lead to further development toward practical industrial scale application due to simplicity without cumbersome filtration.  相似文献

The influence of the surface roughness of Mg alloys on the electrical properties and corrosion resistance of oxide layers obtained by plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) were studied. The leakage current in the insulating oxide layer was enhanced by increasing the surface roughness, which is a favorable characteristic for the material when applied to hand-held electronic devices. The variation of corrosion resistance with surface roughness was also investigated. The corrosion resistance was degraded by the increasing surface roughness, which was confirmed with DC polarization and impedance spectroscopy. Pitting corrosion on the passive oxide layer was also analyzed with a salt spray test, which showed that the number of pits was not affected by the surface roughness when the spray time reached 96 h.  相似文献

A regio- and stereoselective acylation of saturated carbocycles has been achieved through two-step reactions involving the Norrish-Yang photocyclization of 1,2-diketones and subsequent ring opening of the α-hydroxy-cyclobutanones. The C-H activation of the carbocycle proceeds regioselectively at vicinal to the diketone moiety resulting in stereoselective formation of cis-fused bicycles. The following C-C cleavage affords vicinally cis-acylated carbocycles. Predictability, generality, and practicality of the present strategy have been demonstrated using variously modified saturated carbocycles.  相似文献

Asthma is characterized by airway inflammation induced by immune dysfunction to inhaled antigens. Although respiratory viral infections are the most common cause of asthma exacerbation, immunologic mechanisms underlying virus-associated asthma exacerbation are controversial. Clinical evidence indicates that nitric oxide (NO) levels in exhaled air are increased in exacerbated asthma patients compared to stable patients. Here, we evaluated the immunologic mechanisms and the role of NO synthases (NOSs) in the development of virus-associated asthma exacerbation. A murine model of virus-associated asthma exacerbation was established using intranasal challenge with ovalbumin (OVA) plus dsRNA for 4 weeks in mice sensitized with OVA plus dsRNA. Lung infiltration of inflammatory cells, especially neutrophils, was increased by repeated challenge with OVA plus dsRNA, as compared to OVA alone. The neutrophilic inflammation enhanced by dsRNA was partly abolished in the absence of IFN-gamma or IL-17 gene expression, whereas unaffected in the absence of IL-13. In terms of the roles of NOSs, dsRNA-enhanced neutrophilic inflammation was significantly decreased in inducible NOS (iNOS)-deficient mice compared to wild type controls; in addition, this phenotype was inhibited by treatment with a non-specific NOS inhibitor (L-NAME) or an specific inhibitor (1400 W), but not with a specific endothelial NOS inhibitor (AP-CAV peptide). Taken together, these findings suggest that iNOS pathway is important in the development of virus-associated exacerbation of neutrophilic inflammation, which is dependent on both Th1 and Th17 cell responses.  相似文献

A polyurethane bearing methacrylate groups through urethane linkages was prepared by the addition of 2‐methacryloyloxyethyl isocyanate to the hydroxyl groups in poly(hydroxyurethane) prepared by the polyaddition of a bifunctional cyclic carbonate with 1,12‐diaminododecane. The urethanization proceeded quantitatively in the presence of a catalytic amount of di‐n‐butyltin dilaurate at an ambient temperature, whereas a crosslinked product was obtained from the reaction at 60 °C. The resulting linear polyurethane, bearing a methacrylate structure, was thermally crosslinkable. Its radical copolymerization with vinyl‐type monomers afforded the corresponding crosslinked polymers, whose low glass transition temperatures suggested the flexibility of the polymer chains in the crosslinked product. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We synthesized a novel low‐band‐gap, conjugated polymer, poly[4,7‐bis(3′,3′‐diheptyl‐3,4‐propylenedioxythienyl)‐2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole] [poly(heptyl4‐PTBT)], consisting of alternating electron‐rich, diheptyl‐substituted propylene dioxythiophene and electron‐deficient 2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole units, and its photovoltaic properties were investigated. A thin film of poly(heptyl4‐PTBT) exhibited an optical band gap of 1.55 eV. A bulk‐heterojunction solar cell with indium tin oxide/poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene)/poly(heptyl4‐PTBT): methanofullerene [6,6]‐phenyl‐C61‐butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) (1:4)/LiF/Al was fabricated with poly(heptyl4‐PTBT) as an electron donor and PCBM as an electron acceptor and showed an open‐circuit voltage, short‐circuit current density, and power conversion efficiency of 0.37 V, 3.15 mA/cm2, and 0.35% under air mass 1.5 (AM1.5G) illumination (100 mW/cm2), respectively. A solid‐state, dye‐sensitized solar cell with a SnO2:F/TiO2/N3 dye/poly(heptyl4‐PTBT)/Pt device was fabricated with poly(heptyl4‐PTBT) as a hole‐transport material. This device exhibited a high power conversion efficiency of 3.1%, which is the highest power conversion efficiency value with hole‐transport materials in dye‐sensitized solar cells to date. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
