Surface characteristics of the orthopedic implants remarkably affect the corresponding biological responses. In this study,
Ti6Al4V alloy was subjected to the surface mechanical attrition treatment (SMAT) in order to achieve favorable surface properties.
The SMAT substrates exhibited a highly hydrophilic surface with nanograins about 20–40 nm. Then, the in vitro and in vivo
mineralizations were evaluated on the untreated and SMAT processed substrates. The in vitro experimental results showed a
significant increase in the deposition of calcium-containing minerals on the SMAT surface both with and without osteoblasts.
The in vivo experiments also revealed a higher bone mineral apposition on the SMAT processed implants after 8 and 12 weeks
post operation. The well-organized bone formation on the SMAT substrates indicated an enhanced osseointegration on the bone-implant
interface. Therefore, it was suggested that the obvious improvements of biomineralization and osseointegration were attributed
to the nanostructure features on the SMAT surface, as well as the higher surface hydrophilicity. 相似文献

Infrared camera has been widely used in electrical power systems for predictive and preventive thermal fault diagnosis. Without
historical IR images being considered, most thermograph analysis used at present are concerned with static image. The dynamic
history and tendency analysis which compares the newly taken image with historical images is particularly attractive. Conclusions
can be drawn from temperature variations rather than just from anomalous thermal pattern. However the spatial distortions
prevent such dynamic analysis from being practicable. So the need to register infrared images arises. This paper proposes
an automatic registration algorithm based on closed temperature contour matching for infrared image series of a target equipment
taken at different times. Centroid Distance Function is used in image registration for the first time. The algorithm can remove
spatial distortions, bring temperature variations into prominence and endow infrared camera with dynamic analysis ability.
Experiment shows that the algorithm is simple, effective and extensible. 相似文献

We have experimentally investigated pump-to-Stokes intensity noise transfer in both the frequency domain and the time domain in all-fiber single-frequency Brillouin ring lasers. In the high-frequency region (>1MHz), the pump-to-Stokes noise transfer function can be much smaller than unity, indicating that the Brillouin fiber lasers act as an efficient low-pass filter. The maximum noise reduction of 40-60 dB was observed at antiresonant frequencies that are multiples of half the cavity free spectral range. This is the first experimental demonstration, to the authors' knowledge, of intensity noise reduction in Brillouin fiber lasers. 相似文献

A new three-dimensional (3-D) open-framework manganese borophosphate, (NH(4))(6)[Mn(3)B(6)P(9)O(36)(OH)(3)]·4H(2)O (denoted as MnBPO-CJ31), has been synthesized by using boric acid flux method. Its anionic framework structure is constructed by the connection of MnO(6) octahedra and BO(4), PO(4) and PO(3)(OH) tetrahedra. It contains 12-ring channels along the [001] direction with a pore diameter of 7.1 ?. It is the first borophosphate featuring a 3-D anionic partial structure with a B/P ratio of 2/3 and an unprecedented fifteen mer tetrahedral fundamental building unit (FBU) [B(6)P(9)O(36)(OH)(3)] exists in this compound. NH(4)(+) ions locate in the void space to balance the negative charge of the inorganic framework. The compound is further characterized by powder XRD, ICP, CHN, TGA and IR analyses. Magnetic study reveals that MnBPO-CJ31 shows interesting canted antiferromagnetic behaviour at low temperature. 相似文献

DNA sequences can be translated into 2D graphs and into numerical sequences; we call the numerical sequences nonlinear signal sequences. We can use the empirical mode decomposition (EMD) method to divide nonlinear signal sequences into a group of well-behaved intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) and a residue, so that we can compare the similarities among DNA sequences conveniently and intuitively.
