Perfect transmission of spin waves in a one-dimensional magnonic quasicrystal

Existence of the perfect transmission resonances of spin waves in a one-dimensional Thue–Morse magnonic quasicrystal is proposed. We find that occurrence of the perfect transmission just corresponds to the repeated bandedges in the bandedge map. Frequencies at the perfect transmissions for system with arbitrary generation order can be predicted by the bandedge map of the second and third order systems using two iterative schemes. These results show that density of the perfect transmission resonance increases exponentially for increasing the order of the system. However, the perfect transmissions are kept for higher order systems even if the peaks become denser.     

Some sufficient conditions for tunnel numbers of connected sum of two knots not to go down

In this paper, we show the following result: Let K _i be a knot in a closed orientable 3-manifold M _i such that (M _i ,K _i ) is not homeomorphic to (S ₂ ×S ₁, x ₀ ×S ₁), i = 1, 2. Suppose that the Euler Characteristic of any meridional essential surface in each knot complement E(K _i ) is less than the difference of one and twice of the tunnel number of K _i . Then the tunnel number of their connected sum will not go down. If in addition that the distance of any minimal Heegaard splitting of each knot complement is strictly more than 2, then the tunnel number of their connected sum is super additive.     

Cu/HMOR催化二甲醚羰基化合成乙酸甲酯: 催化剂制备方法的影响 (cited: 2)

采用氨蒸发法、尿素水解法、离子交换法及浸渍法制备HMOR负载的Cu催化剂, 考察其催化二甲醚(DME)羰基化合成乙酸甲酯(MA)性能. 结果表明离子交换法制得Cu/HMOR催化剂在Cu的金属中心和酸性分子筛载体的共同作用下具有较好催化反应活性. 在210 oC、1.5 MPa、空速4883 h^-1,DME转化率为95.3%,MA选择性为94.9%. 对催化剂进行N2物理吸附、X射线衍射、NH₃程序升温脱附和CO程序升温脱附等表征发现,离子交换法制得Cu/HMOR催化剂具有较高比表面、大量弱酸及一定中强酸、适中的CO吸附强度,提高了CO插入DME羰基化反应活性.     

Optimal spectral phase control of femtosecond laser-induced up-conversion luminescence in Sm3+:NaYF4 glass

The spectral phase of the femtosecond laser field is an important parameter that affects the up-conversion(UC)luminescence efficiency of dopant lanthanide ions.In this work,we report an experi-mental study on controlling the UC lmiiinescence efficiency in Sm^3+:NaYF4 glass by 800-nm femtosec-ond laser pulse shaping using spectral phase modulation.The optimal phase control strategy efficiently enhances or suppresses the UC luminescence intensity.Based on the laser-power dependence of the UC luminescence intensity and its comparison with the luminescence spectrum under direct 266-nm fem-tosecond lciser irradiation,we propose herein an excitation model combining non-resonant two-photon absorption with resonance-media ted three-photon absorption to explain the experimental observations.     

钛酸锶晶体的光致介电常数激增以及超顺电大极化子理论

钙钛矿类化合物钛酸锶具有明显的光致介电增长的性质,这是由于被光激发至Ti⁴⁺的3d能带上的电子具有良好的巡游特性,为了进一步揭示光致介电增长的微观机理,这里假设巡游电子同时与两类声子发生耦合作用,一方面,电子与A_1g模式的晶格呼吸子发生强相互作用,另一方面,电子还与T_1u模式的非简谐声子具有相对较弱的耦合.通过变分法计算可得,这种复杂的电声耦合作用在晶体中形成两种极化子:自陷极化子和超顺电大极化子.正是由于超顺电大极化子的形成,导致了光致介电激增的现象.     

基于非线性光纤环形镜的少模脉冲幅度调制再生器

随着网络带宽需求的快速增加,波分复用系统的容量已接近非线性香农极限.为了适应未来网络的发展,空分复用技术引起了越来越多的关注.本文首次提出基于少模非线性光纤环形镜(FM-NOLM)的脉冲幅度调制(PAM)全光再生器,描述了其工作原理和具体设计过程.采用COMSOL软件对组成FM-NOLM的硫化物高非线性光纤进行了模式特性仿真.以LP01,LP11,LP21三个光纤模式为例,确定了再生器的参数,计算出每个模式的功率转移函数曲线.仿真分析了该少模PAM-4全光再生器的噪声抑制(NRR)性能,并与单模情形进行了比较.研究表明,1)对于每个空间模式的PAM信号,所有再生电平具有一致的功率转移性能;2)当输入信噪比(SNR)约大于20 dB时,三种模式的噪声抑制比均可超过3 dB,并随着输入信噪比线性增加,其斜率约为1.2;3)在相同输入SNR条件下,三种模式的噪声抑制比相差不大,不超过1.1 dB.为了说明再生器的再生性能,当输入SNR为25 dB时,我们还给出了再生前后PAM-4信号的功率分布直方图.与现有的再生方案相比,本文方案的均匀多电平再生转移性能,使其更适合高频谱效率的长距空分复用系统和任意电平数的PAM信号再生.此外,该方案也能够扩展到波长域,有效提高光通信系统的传输容量.     

Performance of Portfolios Based on the Expected Utility-Entropy Fund Rating Approach

Yang and Qiu proposed and reframed an expected utility–entropy (EU-E) based decision model. Later on, a similar numerical representation for a risky choice was axiomatically developed by Luce et al. under the condition of segregation. Recently, we established a fund rating approach based on the EU-E decision model and Morningstar ratings. In this paper, we apply the approach to US mutual funds and construct portfolios using the best rating funds. Furthermore, we evaluate the performance of the fund ratings based on the EU-E decision model against Morningstar ratings by examining the performance of the three models in portfolio selection. The conclusions show that portfolios constructed using the ratings based on the EU-E models with moderate tradeoff coefficients perform better than those constructed using Morningstar. The conclusion is robust to different rebalancing intervals.
