Trisubstituted thiazoles were synthesized with excellent yields using ligand-free, palladium-catalyzed, direct 5-arylation of 2,4-disubstituted thiazole and conventional or microwave-assisted heating. The palladium-catalyzed reaction yields were significantly influenced by LiCl additive, solvent, and heating method. The reaction times were reduced dramatically by employing microwave radiation instead of conventional heating. The synthetic methods can be applied to diverse 2,4,5-trisubstituted thiazoles by varying the aryl bromide and disubstituted thiazole reactants.  相似文献

A series of heterometallic LnIII–SbIII edta‐containing compounds with the formulas [Sb2(edta)2Ln]NO3 · nH2O [edta = ethylenediaminetetraacetate; Ln = Eu, n = 7 ( 1 ); Gd, n = 7.5 ( 2 ) and Tb, n = 8 ( 3 )] were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses (EA), powder X‐ray diffraction (PXDP), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), and thermogravimetric analyses (TGA). Their fluorescence and magnetic properties were also studied. The thermal analysis demonstrates the compounds formation of the antimony, lanthanide ions, and edta4– ligands. FT‐IR spectra reveal that the antimony and lanthanide ions are connected through the carboxylate bridges. The studies of luminescence properties show that compounds 1 and 3 exhibit typical luminescence in the visible region. Furthermore, magnetic properties reveal compounds 2 and 3 have weak ferromagnetic behavior.  相似文献

Band alignment at CdS/Cu2ZnSnSe4 heterojunction interface is studied by X‐ray photoemission spectroscopy. The Cu2ZnSnSe4 thin films are prepared by selenization of electrodeposited Cu‐Zn‐Sn precursors. CdS overlayers with different thickness are sequentially grown on the Cu2ZnSnSe4 substrate by pulsed laser deposition process. Photoemission spectra are obtained before and after each growth to study the conduction and valence band offsets at the heterojunction interface. The determined conduction band offset of 0.34 eV indicates a spike‐like ‘type I’ band alignment at CdS/Cu2ZnSnSe4 interface. The spike will avoid interface recombination, and it is low enough that electron could transfer from the Cu2ZnSnSe4 layer to the buffer layer which is suitable for solar cell's fabrication. The regular micrometer‐scale triangular arrays were formed using ultrafast femtosecond laser irradiation on (111) surface of silicon wafer immersed in KOH solution (0.1 g/ml). At low laser fluence, the resulting surface is covered by triangular pits microstructures, whereas at high laser fluence, the structures are transformed to multilayer‐triangular stacks‐microstructures. The number of triangular stacks layer increased as the laser fluence increased. The formation of triangle microstructure arrays depends on both silicon surface crystallographic orientation and the concentration of KOH solution. Either for lower KOH solution concentration (0.02 g/ml) or other silicon crystallographic orientation, triangle arrays cannot be obtained. We attribute the formation of triangular microstructure arrays to the laser‐assisted chemical etching process. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

We developed the dual‐micropillar‐based microfluidic platform to direct embryonic stem (ES) cell fate. 4 × 4 dual‐micropillar‐based microfluidic platform consisted of 16 circular‐shaped outer micropillars and 8 saddle‐shaped inner micropillars in which single ES cells were cultured. We hypothesized that dual‐micropillar arrays would play an important role in controlling the shear stress and cell docking. Circular‐shaped outer micropillars minimized the shear stress, whereas saddle‐shaped inner micropillars allowed for docking of individual ES cells. We observed the effect of saddle‐shaped inner micropillars on cell docking in response to hydrodynamic resistance. We also demonstrated that ES cells cultured for 6 days within the dual‐micropillar‐based microfluidic platform differentiated into neural‐like cells. Therefore, this dual‐micropillar‐based microfluidic platform could be a potentially powerful method for screening of lineage commitments of single ES cells.  相似文献

The Van Oss surface thermodynamic theory of polar and apolar interfacial interactions was extended to the interaction between mineral surfaces and bubbles across liquid media. The acid base (polar) interfacial interactions are supposed to be responsible for the hydration repulsion between a hydrophilic mineral and a bubble as well as for the hydrophobic attraction between a hydrophobic mineral and the bubble.  相似文献

SiC@A1(OH)3-Y(OH)3 core-shell composite particles are synthesized by co-precipitation method for strengthening the antioxidation of SiC at high temperature. To reach better A1(OH)3-Y(OH)3 composite shell and higher coating ratio on the SiC particles surfaces, SiC particles must be adequately dispersed in the SiC suspension during the coating process. The dispersion mechanism of SiC particles is investigated by the sedimentation method. Through test and analysis, the optimum conditions of the dispersion of SiC particles in the SiC suspension are sedimentating for 10 minutes, ultrasonic dispersion for 10 minutes, the lower SiC concentration, pH = 9, the dispersant content for the 2% volume of SiC suspension and using the polyelectrolyte dispersant, respectively.  相似文献

There have been few studies on the factors that determine the overall appearance of emulsions. Optical properties are quite important in determining the perceived quality of emulsion-based products. The overall appearance of an emulsion is determined by the way that it interacts with electromagnetic radiation in the visible region of the spectrum, for example, reflection, transmission, adsorption, and scattering. These interactions are principally determined by the characteristics of emulsion droplets (size, concentration, and refractive index). The present study aims at characterizing the optical properties and rheological behaviors of water-in-oil emulsions, especially macroemulsions. There is a decrease in the absorbance spectra as increasing glycerin ratio in aqueous phase because the difference of refractive index between oil phase and aqueous phase decreased, which improved the transparency of water-in-oil emulsion. The absorbance of linear and branched surfactant emulsions were smaller than that of alkyl modified branched surfactant emulsion. Moreover the transparency of emulsions prepared with linear and branched surfactants was much clearer than that of alkyl modified branched surfactant emulsion. The absorbance spectra also showed that low polar oil attributed to the more transparent emulsion, compared with high polar or nonpolar oil. However, these kinds of oils were not helpful to prepare transparent emulsion because the appearance of these emulsions was translucent or opaque, even if polyols in aqueous phase was 30 wt%.  相似文献

CVD‐grown multiwall carbon nanotubes are dispersed in styrene monomer. During the polymerization of styrene, an AC electric field is applied to induce the CNTs to align along the electric field line to form a macroscopic nanotube network in polystyrene matrix. The dielectrophoresis force and the electric field redistribution at the CNTs apexes are responsible for alignment of the CNTs as well as bonding between the CNTs. Parameters such as field strength and nanotube weight fraction are varied. The results indicate that the macroscopic CNTs alignment along electric field direction can be observed only if the AC voltage reaches or is higher than certain values, and the higher the electric field frequency is, the more uniformly the CNTs align along electric field direction. In addition, nanotube concentration also affects the alignment of CNTs. According to the results of this study, the CNTs will align into a developed network in polystyrene matrix under a proper combination of three parameters of the electric field voltage, frequency, and the CNTs concentration.  相似文献

Phase change material (PCM, octadecane) nanocapsules were successfully prepared by resin fortified emulsion (RFE) polymerization using the alkali soluble resin (ASR) of poly(ethylene‐co‐acrylic acid) (EAA) and poly(styrene‐co‐acrylic acid) (SAA). Stable PCM nanocapsules were obtained by resin fortified emulsion polymerization, which could be attributed to the prevention of Ostwald ripening due to PCM being hydrophobic. Analysis of online FTIR measurements throughout the reaction confirmed that the nanocapsules contained octadecane as a PCM. TEM imaging of the PCM nanocapsules showed spherical and core/shell morphology. The characteristics of PCM nanocapsules can be controlled by process parameters. As a result, the particle size and particle size distribution (i.e., polydispersity index (Dw/Dn)) of the PCM nanocapsules were created by adjusting manufacturing conditions. The PCM nanocapsules exhibited thermal energy storage (~49.8 J/g) and release (~47.9 J/g) behavior.  相似文献
