Two-dimensional patterned and controlled polyelectrolyte aggregations (e.g., tree-like ramified structures) created by microcontact printing have been demonstrated and discussed. Polyelectrolyte-micropatterned aggregations on surfaces were controlled by the micropattern size and shape of PDMS stamps. The formation of aggregates was dependent on the ink and surface conditions, and the aggregates consisted of two distinct layers; strongly adsorbed, primary uniform layers and weakly adsorbed, secondary aggregation layers positioned on top of the primary layers. The adsorption of the primary layers was strong enough not to be washed away, while the aggregated secondary layers were easily removed by washing. The aggregation of secondary layers showed typical tree-like ramified structures of fractal growth and aggregation. Directional and confined stamping led to directing and confining the growth of the fractal polyelectrolyte clusters, respectively. The micropatterned primary uniform layers were not removed by extensive washing, and they were identified by selective nickel plating and charged particle selective adsorption in which the surface formed positive and negative micropatterns. These functional and patterned surfaces have great potentials for advanced devices and sensors.  相似文献

Reaction of (triphenylmethyl)silanetriol (1) with cyclopentadienyltitanium trichloride (CpTiCl3) in the presence of triethylamine as a HCl scavenger gave both compounds of a partial open-cage type {[Ph3CSiO(OH)]3(Ph3CSiO3/2)(CpTiO3/2)4} (2) and cube type (Ph3CSiO3/2CpTiO3/2)4 (3). The 1:1 reaction of 1 and CpTiCl3 in toluene solvent at reflux temperature for 3 d afforded compounds 2 (22%) and 3 (36%). When 1 is reacted with a 1.5 fold excess of CpTiCl3 under the same conditions, compound 3 was obtained in high yield (81%) along with 2 in trace quantities. Compounds 2 and 3 were fully characterized by the analyses of 1H, 13C, 29Si NMR, IR, and FAB MS data. The solid-state structure of 3 was determined by a single crystal X-ray diffraction study. Compound 3 had shown to have catalytic activity for the oxidation of alkenes such as 1-octene, cyclooctene, and norbornene with t-butyl hydrogen peroxide. The effect of solvent was observed in this epoxidation reaction. The order of reactivity were decreased as follows: CHCl3 > hexane THF.  相似文献

An innovative in-plane passive micromixer using modified Tesla structures, which are used as passive valves, has been designed, simulated, fabricated and successfully characterized in this paper. Simulation and experimental results of the developed novel micromixer have shown excellent mixing performance over a wide range of flow conditions in the micro scale. The micromixer realized in this work has achieved even better mixing performance at a higher flow rate, and its pressure drop is less than 10 KPa at the flow rate of 100 microl min(-1). This micromixer shows characteristics similar to Taylor dispersion, with contributions from both diffusion and convection. The mixer has a diffusion domain region at low flow rate, but it moves to a convection domain region at high flow rate. Due to the simple in-plane structure of the novel micromixer explored in this work, the mixer can be easily realized and integrated with on-chip microfluidic devices and micro total analysis systems (micro-TAS).  相似文献

The thermodynamic parameters for the interaction of Cu2+, Ni2+, Co2+, Cd2+, andAg+ with the new title ligand have been determined by titration calorimetry in 50% THF–methanol (V/V) at 25 °C.Ag+ exhibited remarkably higher complexation selectivity.Ag+ and several transition metal ions have been transportedusing this ligand as carrier in a bulk liquid membrane. CompetitiveAg+–M2+ transport studies have also beencarried out for the same system. In this membrane transport study, high transport of Ag+ was observed in both single and competitiveAg+–M2+ transport studies. The complexformation of N,N-bis[o-(diphenylphosphino)benzylidene]ethylenediamine (P2N2) with silver,[Ag(P2N2)] (NO3), (1) is reported. A catalytic oxidative polycyclization reaction initiated by the carbocyclization of 1,5-dienes with Pd(II) is reported. Trapping of a putative carbocation with suitable functional groups (phenols, alkenes, alcohols, sulfonamide), or rearrangement protocols (Pinacol) yields poly-cyclic products in good yields and in excellent diastereoselectivities. Turnover of the intermediate Pd-C bond is via β-H elimination.  相似文献

The mole transport rate of alkaline earth metal ions through a bulk liquid membrane and a supported liquid membrane using a series of proton diionizable acyclic polyethers was measured. Among alkaline earth metal ions, the calcium ion was observed to be selectively transported in both single and competitive transport experiments. Potentiometric titration and solution calorimetric titration also gave calcium selectivity over other alkaline earth metal ions. Acyclic polyether bearing a diethylene glycol unit andn-tetradecyl lipophilic chain at the α position of carboxylic acid affords the best selectivity for the calcium ion in bulk and supported liquid membranes.  相似文献

Heterobimetallic alkoxides are broadly recognized as versatile precursors for luminescence materials, and efforts are being made to develop novel routes by applying the concept of geometrical molecular design, for their synthesis and to design a single source precursor suited to photoluminescent materials. Novel and new series of bimetallic alkoxides has been prepared by metathesis route. They exhibit a lower sensitivity towards hydrolysis and so they are easier to handle as compared to other alkoxides. All the compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR and multinuclear NMR spectroscopies. FT-IR revealed that the molecular structure of these metal alkoxides was retained to a large extent in 4 : 1 halogenated alcohol-benzene solution. The heteronuclear NMR spectroscopy provided useful information about chemical shifts for better understanding the likely structure based on interactions with their coordinate metals. The mass spectra show similar types of fragmentation pattern. SEM-EDS analyses showed consistency with the formulation. XRD patterns show an enhanced homogeneity at high temperature. TGA measurements show that thermal decomposition occured in steps that depended entirely on the chemical compositions and the synthesis routes. SEM observation reveals that the morphology and particle size strongly depend on synthesis routes for their precursors.  相似文献

Multi-scale hybrid nanocomposites containing both ∼15 nm silica colloids and ∼2 nm oligosiloxanes in a methacryl polymer matrix were newly designed and fabricated. Colloidal silica sols were dispersed in methacryl oligosiloxanes nano-hybrid resins synthesized by sol-gel reaction of methacryloxypropylmethoxysilane and diphenylsilanediol. On the basis of TEM and SANS analyses, it was confirmed that the silica colloids were compatibly dispersed and different sizes of colloidal silica and oligosiloxanes co-exist in the solutions. Multi-scale hybrid nanocomposites fabricated by UV and thermal curing with incorporation of silica colloids in the nano-hybrid materials show enhanced mechanical and thermal characteristics.  相似文献

Summary The Advanced Spent Conditioning Process (ACP) developed by the KAERI is based on pyrometallurgy and the electrolytic reduction plays a central role in transforming spent oxide fuels into metals. The constituents of the spent fuels are distributed between a salt and a reduced metal phase during electrolysis. Lithium metal is produced in a molten LiCl-Li2O cell and then it reacts with the metal oxides of the spent fuel producing Li2O and reduced metals. By focusing on the activity of Li2O and the electric potential, the electrolytic reduction process of the ACP is discussed. Thermodynamic considerations are defined and operation conditions are proposed including Li2O activity and cell potential.  相似文献
