Carbon material was produced using an inductively coupled thermal plasma torch system of 35 kW and a conical shape reactor. The carbon nanopowders were obtained by plasma decomposition of methane at various flow rates and show a uniform microstructure throughout the reactor. The product has a crystalline graphitic structure, with a stacking of between 6 and 16 planes and a nano-flake morphology with particles dimensions of approximately 100 nm long, 50 nm wide and 5 nm thick. Nitrogen was also introduced in some synthesis experiments along with the methane precursor using flow rates of 0.1 and 0.2 slpm. The resulting product has the same structural properties and the nitrogen is incorporated into the graphitic structure through pyridinic type bonds.  相似文献

We have performed molecular dynamics calculations using a revised version of the Gromos56Acarbo force field to understand the consequences of the different potential hydrogen bonding patterns on the structural stability and thermal behavior of the Iα and Iβ forms of native cellulose. For each allomorph, we considered three patterns of hydrogen bonds: two patterns obtained from neutron diffraction data refinement and a regular mixture of the two. Upon annealing, the hydrogen bonding schemes of cellulose Iβ, irrespective of the starting structure, re-arranged into the main hydrogen bond pattern experimentally observed (pattern A). On the other hand, the Iα structures, irrespective of the starting hydrogen bonding pattern, converged to a non-experimental structure where the adjacent chains are shifted along the chain direction by 0.12 nm in the hydrogen-bonded plane, and the hydroxymethyl group conformation alternates between gt and tg along the chain. The exotic structure in Iα might be a consequence of a deficiency in force field parameters and/or potential molecular arrangement in less crystalline cellulose.  相似文献

This Letter describes the synthesis of racemic analogues of unnatural 2′-deoxy nucleoside with a phosphorus atom replacing the carbon atom in the 3′-position. A seven-step sequence was developed in racemic series to afford unnatural 3′-phospha-2′-deoxyfuranose nucleosides. The phospha nucleoside analogues were tested against HCV, but did not show any antiviral activity at a 10 μM maximum concentration used for the inhibition assays of analogues 2-T, 2-C and 4-Tα.  相似文献

We report the structural and electrical characterization of thin films of organic semiconductor molecules consisting of an oligothiophene core capped with electron-withdrawing tricyanovinyl (TCV) groups. X-ray diffraction and atomic force microscopy of evaporated films of three different TCV-capped oligothiophenes showed that the films were highly crystalline. Electrical transport was measured in thin film transistors employing silver source and drain contacts and channel probes to correct for contact resistance. Three compounds exhibited n-channel (electron) conduction consistent with cyclic voltametry data that indicated they undergo facile reduction. Maximum electron mobilities were 0.02 cm2/V.s with an on/off current ratio of 10(6). A fourth end-capped molecule, TCV-6T-TCV, which had six thiophene rings, exhibited both p- and n-channel transport. Overall, these results confirm that substitution of oligothiophene cores with electron-withdrawing groups is a useful strategy to achieve electron-transporting materials.  相似文献

The nature of vibronic coupling in fused polycyclic benzene-thiophene structures has been studied using an approach that combines high-resolution gas-phase photoelectron spectroscopy measurements with first-principles quantum-mechanical calculations. The results indicate that in general the electron-vibrational coupling is stronger than the hole-vibrational coupling. In acenedithiophenes, the main contributions to the hole-vibrational coupling arise from medium- and high-frequency vibrations. In thienobisbenzothiophenes, however, the interaction of holes with low-frequency vibrations becomes significant and is larger than the corresponding electron-vibrational interaction. This finding is in striking contrast with the characteristic pattern in oligoacenes and acenedithiophenes in which the low-frequency vibrations contribute substantially only to the electron-vibrational coupling. Fast analysis in LC can be performed with sub-2 microm particles at very high pressures (up to 1000 bar) known as ultra performance LC (UPLC). With this configuration, it is possible to obtain fast and/or highly efficient separations compared to conventional LC. For the analysis of compounds without chromophores, the evaporative light scattering detector (ELSD) is an attractive alternative because of its quasi-universality, versatility, low-cost and good sensitivity. The UPLC-ELSD was investigated in terms of sensitivity and apparent efficiency, with a conventional ELSD instrument, for two types of commercially available nebulisers, using different mobile phase flow rates and column ids. Results were finally compared with the UPLC-UV configuration. Three applications with phytochemical compounds were selected to highlight the potential of this approach (i.e. the isocratic separations of artemisinin and its derivatives, of calystegines and the gradient separation of several tropane alkaloids). Depending on the used column length, baseline separations were obtained in 3-10 min, with an average apparent efficiency ranging from 7000 to 30,000 plates.  相似文献
