The multiple lump solutions method is employed for the purpose of obtaining multiple soliton solutions for the generalized Bogoyavlensky-Konopelchenko(BK) equation. The solutions obtained contain first-order, second-order, and third-order wave solutions. At the critical point,the second-order derivative and Hessian matrix for only one point is investigated, and the lump solution has one maximum value. He's semi-inverse variational principle(SIVP) is also used for the generalized BK equation. Three major cases are studied, based on two different ansatzes using the SIVP. The physical phenomena of the multiple soliton solutions thus obtained are then analyzed and demonstrated in the figures below, using a selection of suitable parameter values.This method should prove extremely useful for further studies of attractive physical phenomena in the fields of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, etc. 相似文献

Polarisation of the particle spin can be an important problem for different plasmas. In this article, the contribution of the electron spin on the growth rate of the temperature anisotropy of electromagnetic instabilities has been investigated. Results show that polarisation of the electron spin will restrict the instability growth rate while instability can survive due to the spin-depolarised electrons even when the requested temperature anisotropy is vanished. Instability can reach the damping state exponentially due to the spin-polarised electrons while it can grow linearly due to the spin-depolarised (the semi-classical) electrons. 相似文献

Selective oxidation of the surface of an ordered alloy requires redistribution of the atomic species in the vicinity of the surface. This process can be understood in terms of the formation and movements of point defects in the compound. On the basis of ab initio density-functional calculation we found both the creation of exchange defects near the NiAl surface and segregation of Ni vacancies to the top layer to be extremely favorable in the presence of oxygen. Scenarios for the initial oxidation of NiAl are suggested which demonstrate the appearance of an additional energy barrier on the Ni-rich side compared to the Al-rich side. The expulsion of Ni from the oxide layer as it forms is the driving force for its stability. 相似文献

Considering a piezo-plasma-like layer with finite thickness and hexagonal symmetry whose main symmetry axis is parallel to the z axis and approximating it by an isotropic medium, we study the coupling of the elastic wave with plasma properties of the medium with and without spatial dispersion and collisions. In this case we investigate the coupled surface quasi elasto-electromagnetic wave propagating on the interface of piezoelectric layer with vacuum. In this paper, we report an efficient coupling scheme with relaxed misalignment tolerances. The proposed coupling scheme consists of two ball lenses of same diameter (1 mm) and different refractive indices. The second ball lens which is facing the fiber tip has a higher refractive index (1.833), whereas the first one which faces the laser diode has a refractive index of 1.5. Employing Gaussian and ABCD ray tracing optics, the theoretically obtained coupling efficiency can reach a unity with relaxed working distance (separation of the coupling system from the fiber tip) in the range between 1 and 4 mm at some optimum positions of the coupling lenses with regard to each other and to the facet of the laser diode. It has been found that if the distance between the first ball lens and the laser diode (d1) is fixed at 1.1 mm, which is twice its focal length, the coupling efficiency and the working distance as well as the misalignment tolerances are greatly affected by variation of the separation between the two ball lenses (s), and for this proposed coupling scheme the highest coupling efficiency and largest working distance are obtained when s is in the range of 0.3-0.35 mm. Above and below this range there is a significant reduction in the values of the above-mentioned parameters. Experimentally, the Nd:YAG laser welding system has been used for the alignment and welding of the coupling components in a butterfly configuration; the experimentally obtained coupling efficiency of the proposed coupling system was around 75% with relaxed working distance. From the effect of lateral and angular offsets on coupling efficiency, it is clearly noticed that the mode field of laser diode is transformed from elliptical into circular and hence effectively matched with that of the single-mode fiber. 相似文献

Fractional charge may arise when fermionic zero modes exist in a topological background field. In biased bilayer graphene (BBLG), the bias plays the role of the nontrivial background field. When semi-infinite BBLG with a zigzag edge is used, the dynamics induces an odd number of zero-energy modes, which, together with the conjugation symmetry between positive-?and negative-energy states, are the requisite conditions for fractionalization. Exploiting the trigonal interaction to isolate a given zero-energy mode on the zigzag edge, we consider extended and localized modes (the latter being obtained from a localized wavepacket generated by prior irradiation of the sample with an electromagnetic vortex). The valley degeneracy is lifted by a layer asymmetry, while an edge-induced spin polarization breaks the spin degeneracy.
