A search for the nonconservation of lepton flavor number in the decay tau(+/-) --> mu(+/-) has been performed using 2.07 x 10(8) e(+ )e(-) tau(+) tau(-) events produced at a center-of-mass energy near 10.58 GeV with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II storage ring. We find no evidence for a signal and set an upper limit on the branching ratio of Beta(tau(+/-) --> mu(+/-) gamma) < 6.8 x 10(-8) at 90% confidence level.  相似文献

We consider the Q-state Potts model in the random-cluster formulation, defined on finite   two-dimensional lattices of size L×NL×N with toroidal boundary conditions. Due to the non-locality of the clusters, the partition function Z(L,N)Z(L,N) cannot be written simply as a trace of the transfer matrix TLTL. Using a combinatorial method, we establish the decomposition Z(L,N)=l,Dkb(l,Dk)Kl,DkZ(L,N)=l,Dkb(l,Dk)Kl,Dk, where the characters Kl,Dk=iN(λi)Kl,Dk=i(λi)N are simple traces. In this decomposition, the amplitudes b(l,Dk)b(l,Dk) of the eigenvalues λiλi of TLTL are labelled by the number l=0,1,…,Ll=0,1,,L of clusters which are non-contractible with respect to the transfer (N  ) direction, and a representation DkDk of the cyclic group ClCl. We obtain rigorously a general expression for b(l,Dk)b(l,Dk) in terms of the characters of ClCl, and, using number theoretic results, show that it coincides with an expression previously obtained in the continuum limit by Read and Saleur.  相似文献

Highly enantioselective addition reactions between silyl ketene acetals and N-Boc aldimines are catalyzed by the thiourea-based catalyst 1c. Extraordinary scope is observed in this methodology with regard to the imine substrate, with aryl and heteroaromatic derivatives generally affording nearly quantitative yields of beta-amino ester product in up to 98% enantioselectivity.  相似文献

The rotational spectra of o-fluorotoluene and its seven 13C isotopic species were recorded in the frequency range from 4 to 20 GHz with employment of pulsed molecular beam Fourier-transform microwave (MB-FTMW) spectrometers. The analysis of the spectra in the two lowest states of methyl internal rotation (torsional ground state, A and E species) was based on a asymmetric frame-rigid symmetric top Hamiltonian with inclusion of centrifugal distortion terms, yielding structural rotational constants, as well as the threefold barrier V 3 to internal rotation and the angle(a,i) between the principal moment of inertia a axis and the internal rotor axis i. The rotational constants of all eight isotopomeres were used to derive the seven 13C r s coordinates of the molecule.  相似文献

The development and application of a rocket immunoelectrophoretic and an enzyme activity electrophoretic assay for the qualitative analysis of Geotrichum candidum lipase activity is presented. The sensitivities of the four assays were (in arbitrary units): enzyme activity electrophoresis, 1-0.5; rocket immunoelectrophoresis, 0.5-0.2; radial diffusion, 1; titrimetry, 1. The electrophoretic methods made it possible to distinguish between high and low molecular weight forms of the G. candidum lipases. The enzyme activity electrophoretic methods can be combined with other electrophoretic techniques, as demonstrated here with isoelectric focusing, and produce useful information on physico-chemical differences between different molecular forms of the lipase, e.g. forms with different pI.  相似文献

Two New Silicate-Chlorides with Divalent Europium: LiEu3[SiO4]Cl3 and Li7Eu8[SiO4]4Cl7 LiEu3[SiO4]Cl3 was prepared by reaction of LiCl with Eu2SiO4 and Li7Eu8[SiO4]4Cl7 from Li with Eu2O3, SiO2 and LiCl. The crystal structures of LiEu3[SiO4]Cl3 (Pmna, a = 946.95(13); b = 699.52(8); c = 1 368.0(2) pm; Z = 4; R1 = 0.0325, R2w = 0.0642) and Li7Eu8[SiO4]4Cl7 (P21/c; a = 851.85(5); b = 948.62(7); c = 1 679.0(2) pm; β = 96.221(8)°; Z = 2; R1 = 0.0352, R2w = 0.0744) were determined from four-circle diffractometer data. LiEu3[SiO4]Cl3 contains [Li(SiO4)2] units and LiCl6 octahedra while in Li7Eu8[SiO4]4Cl7 larger ?lithosilicate”? groups are found. In both structures, the Eu2+ ions are coordinated mostly eightfold by O2? and Cl? ligands.  相似文献

Intermolecular interactions between a prototypical transition metal hydride WH(CO)2NO(PH3)2 and a small proton donor H2O have been studied using DFT methodology. The hydride, nitrosyl and carbonyl ligand have been considered as site of protonation. Further, DFT-D calculations in which empirical corrections for the dispersion energy are included, have been carried out. A variety of pure and hybrid density functionals (BP86, PW91, PBE, BLYP, OLYP, B3LYP, B1PW91, PBE0, X3LYP) have been considered, and our calculations indicate the PBE functional and its hybrid variation are well suited for the calculation of transition metal hydride hydrogen and dihydrogen bonding. Dispersive interactions make up for a sizeable portion of the intermolecular interaction, and amount to 20–30% of the bond energy and to 30–40% of the bond enthalpy. An energy decomposition analysis reveals that the H?H bond of transition metal hydrides contains both covalent and electrostatic contributions.  相似文献

We report the development of a dual‐mode mass‐directed supercritical fluid chromatography and reversed‐phase liquid chromatography purification system. The addition of a third pump allows for flexible mobile phase control between the two techniques, and enables operation of either chromatography mode within minutes by activation of a set of switching valves on a single system. Software control, fluidic pathways, interface to the mass spectrometer, and fraction collection have been modified for compatibility between both separation methods. The conditioning solvent and tuning parameters for the mass spectrometer were adjusted to achieve an ideal signal trace in either mode with good linearity (r2 > 0.970) over a range of concentrations and minimal noise for accurate peak detection and isolation. The registration success rate is 90% and overall sample recovery for either technique is 80?90%. Combining two orthogonal separation and purification modes in one single system has improved the purification throughput of complex mixtures and has been a valuable, cost‐saving tool in our laboratory.  相似文献
