DNA binding study of a vanadium(V) complex, Oxo-chloro-bis-N-phenylbenzohydroxamto-vanadium(V), derived from N-phenylbenzohydroxamic acid(PBHA) form a violet color complex with vanadium (V) in presence of hydrochloric acid is performed using absorption, fluorescence and viscometric techniques. The binding parameters of the PBHA-V(V) complex using calf thymus DNA (ct-DNA) and torula yeast RNA (t-RNA) have been determined. The complex shows the ability of cooperatively minor groove binding with ct-DNA as indicated by remarkable hyperchromicity and a blue shift of the absorption spectra. Quenching of metal complex calculation was carried out with Stern-Volmer equation and Ksv was found to be 2.32 ± 0.18 × 104 M?1, while in the case of t-RNA, enhancement is observed and that means the compound was not able to displace the Ethidium Bromide(EB)-t-RNA complex. Molecular docking was also applied to predict the mode of interaction of the hydroxamic acid with ct-DNA and t-RNA. DNA binding results of the complex are compared with those of the parent ligand.  相似文献

Polyaniline deposited on As(2)O(3) surface resulted in a new material, which was characterized by infrared spectoscopy, thermogravimetry, differential scanning calorimetry, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and cyclic voltammetry. The mass percentage of polymer deposited on oxide surface is approximately 13%. The scanning electron microscopy images as well as the X-ray diffraction patterns provided conclusive evidence that the oxide surface is coated by the polymer. The cyclic voltammograms of the polyaniline adsorbed on As(2)O(3) surface showed that the adsorbate exerts remarkable effects on redox processes on this oxide. The pure oxide exhibited two oxidation/reduction peaks at 0.25/-0.06 and 0.47/-0.25 V attributed tentatively to the processes As(2)O(3)(s)+6H(+)+6e(-)=2As(s)+3H(2)O and As(s)+3H(+)+3e(-)=AsH(3)(g), respectively. The polyaniline-coated sample exhibited a better-defined voltammogram in which the first oxidation peak of the oxide had its intensity increased about four times. A method enabling the in situ preparation of porous alumina monoliths within 100 μm i.d. fused silica capillaries has been developed. These monoliths were prepared using the sol-gel process from a mixture consisting of an inorganic aluminum salt, a porogen, an epoxide, and a solvent. We investigated the effects of varying the preparation conditions on the physical characteristics of the monoliths with respect to their potential application in chromatographic separations. The best columns were obtained from a mixture of aluminum chloride hexahydrate, N,N-dimethylformamide, water, ethanol and propylene oxide. Adenosine phosphates were then separated in the optimized column with retention increasing according to number of phosphate functionalities.  相似文献

Thin films of perovskite manganite, with nominal composition La0.5Ca0.5MnO3, have been prepared by pulsed laser deposition on (1 0 0) SrTiO3, (1 0 0) LaAlO3, (1 0 0) Si and YSZ/CeO2-buffered (1 0 0) Si substrates. Structural and electrical characterisation was performed on the films. The magneto-transport properties of all the thin films depart from the bulk behaviour. The LCMO film grown on buffered Si shows an insulator–metallic transition around 130–150 K while the one deposited directly on Si displayed a similar behaviour under a melting field of 1 T. However, that transition is absent in the films grown on LAO and STO. We suggest that appropriate stress values induced by the substrate favour the formation of metallic percolative paths.  相似文献

The variational principle of Lebon-Lambermont, originally proposed for Newtonian fluids, is seen to be applicable to generalized Newtonian fluids. As an example, it is applied to obtain approximate solutions of the laminar boundary-layer equations for the two-stream mixing of power-law fluids. The flow along a flat plate is obtained as a particular case when the consistency of one of the fluids diverges.  相似文献

We study the growth with time of (the coefficients of the asymptoticexpansion of) the error in the numerical integration with linearmultistep methods of periodic solutions of systems of ordinarydifferential equations. Particular attention is devoted to reversiblesystems. It turns out that symmetric linear multistep methodscannot be recommended in spite of the fact that they mimic thereversibility of the true flow. High-spin states of 95,97Mo (Z=42, N=53,55) nuclei have been investigated through 82Se(18O, xn) reaction at Eb=60 MeV. The level scheme in 95Mo has been observed upto ≏ 10 MeV in the present experiment. The level structure shows mainly single particle character. In 97Mo, the ground state level sequence has been extended to ≏ 4.5 MeV while the previous information had been up to 2.4 MeV. A negative parity band built on 1437 keV (11/2) excited state has been extended to 5.5 MeV. The structure seems to show a coexistence of single particle and collective modes of excitation. Properties of both the nuclei have been compared with shell model calculations using OXBASH.  相似文献
