Temperature dependence of interband transition energy in InGaAsN strain-compensated quantum-well and ridge-waveguide lasers fabricated with pulsed anodic oxidation

Ridge-waveguide InGaAsN triple-quantum-well strain-compensated lasers grown by metal organic chemical vapor deposition were fabricated with pulsed anodic oxidation. The laser’s output power reached 145 mW in continuous-wave mode at room temperature for a 4-?m -stripe-width laser. Continuous-wave single longitudinal mode operation was maintained at a high injection current level with a wavelength of 1287.3 nm at room temperature. Single longitudinal mode operation at 1317.2 nm was achieved at twice the threshold current at 100 °C. The band gap of InGaAsN in the quantum wells at different temperatures was calculated and compared to the measured temperature-dependent laser wavelength.     

Magnetic,electrical transport and electron spin resonance studies of ferromagnetic insulating manganites Nd0.85Na0.15MnO3

We have investigated the magnetic, electrical transport and electron spin resonance (ESR) properties of polycrystalline Nd_0.85Na_0.15MnO₃ prepared by sol–gel method. A ferromagnetic–paramagnetic (FM–PM) transition is observed around 110 K, which is not accompanied by a metal–insulator transition. The sample displays the complete PM state associated with the ESR spectra fitted by single Lorentzian line shape above 130 K. Below 130 K, ESR spectra become distorted and then linewidth increases rapidly, where short-range magnetic order develops and coexists with PM phase due to the inhomogeneous magnetic state. In addition, the large difference between the activation energies obtained from the resistivity and ESR parameters (peak-to-peak linewidth and line intensity) at the frame of adiabatic small polaron hopping model is pointed out for Nd_0.85Na_0.15MnO₃.     

新型金属杂冠醚配合物18-MC-6[Mn6(4-Amashz)6(DMF)6]·12DMF的合成

合成了一种新型金属杂冠醚配合物[Mn6(4-amashz)6(DMF)6]·12DMF,并用X射线衍射法对其结构进行了表征.研究了该化合物修饰金电极催化氧还原的性质,结果表明,该化合物具有平面碟状结构,对在碱性溶液中的氧有显著的催化还原作用.     

MORPHOLOGY OF BLACK CARBON AEROSOLS AND UBIQUITY OF 50-NANOMETER BLACK CARBON AEROSOLS IN THE ATMOSPHERE

Different-sized aerosols were collected by an Andersen air sampler to observe the detailed morphology of the black carbon （BC） aerosols which were separated chemically from the other accompanying aerosols, using a Scanning Electron Microscope equipped with an Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectrometer （SEM-EDX）. The results indicate that most BC aerosols are spherical particles of about 50 nm in diameter and with a homogeneous surface. Results also show that these particles aggregate with other aerosols or with themselves to form larger agglomerates in the micrometer range. The shape of these 50-nm BC spherical particles was found to be very similar to that of BC particles released from petroleum-powered vehicular internal combustion engines. These spherical BC particles were shown to be different from the previously reported fullerenes found using Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Time-Of-Flight Mass Spectrometry （MALDI-TOF-MS）.     

A study of the effect of ZrO2 on the magnetic properties of FePt/ZrO2 multilayer

Fe_xPt_100−x(30 nm) and [Fe_xPt_100−x(3 nm)/ZrO₂]₁₀ (x = 37, 48, 57, 63, 69) films with different ZrO₂ content were prepared by RF magnetron sputtering technique, then were annealed at 550 °C for 30 min. This work investigates the effect of ZrO₂ doping on the microstructural evolution, magnetic properties, grain size, as well as the ordering kinetics of FePt alloy films. The as-deposited films behaved a disordered state, and the ordered L1₀ structure was obtained by post-annealing. The magnetic properties of the films are changed from soft magnetism to hard magnetism after annealing. The variation of the largest coercivities of [Fe_xPt_100−x/ZrO₂]₁₀ films with the Fe atomic percentage, x and differing amounts of ZrO₂ content reveals that as we increase the ZrO₂ content we must correspondingly increase the amount of Fe. This phenomenon suggests that the Zr or O atoms of ZrO₂ preferentially react with the Fe atoms of FePt alloy to form compounds. In addition, introducing the nonmagnetic ZrO₂ can reduce the intergrain exchange interactions of the FePt/ZrO₂ films, and the interactions are decreased as the ZrO₂ content increases, the dipole interactions are observed in FePt/ZrO₂ films as the ZrO₂ content is more than 15%.     

多段构件组成的压杆平面内稳定

分析由若干段等截面或者变截面构件组成的压杆平面内稳定问题．从由三段等截面构件组成的压杆平面内稳定问题出发，对两端为变截面、中间为等截面构件组成的压杆的平面内稳定问题进行了分析，得出和两端为等截面构件情况类似的屈曲荷载计算公式．并对两端固接的情况进行了研究分析．     

Effect of Nonradiative Recombination on Carrier Dynamics in GaInNAs/GaAs Quantum Wells

The nonradiative recombination effect on carrier dynamics in GalnNAs/GaAs quantum wells is studied by timeresolved photoluminescence （TRPL） and polarization-dependent TRPL at various excitation intensities. It is found that both recombination dynamics and spin relaxation dynamics strongly depend on the excitation intensity. Under moderate excitation intensities the PL decay curves exhibit unusual non-exponential behaviour. This result is well simulated by a rate equation involving both the radiative and non-radiative recombinations via the introduction of a new parameter of the effective concentration of nonradiative recombination centres in the rate equation. In the spin dynamics study, the spin relaxation also shows strong excitation power dependence. Under the high excitation power an increase of spin polarization degree with time is observed. This new finding provides a useful hint that the spin process can be controlled by excitation power in GaInNAs systems.     

On Polynomial Functions over Finite Commutative Rings

Let R be an arbitrary finite commutative local ring. In this paper, we obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for a function over R to be a polynomial function. Before this paper, necessary and sufficient conditions for a function to be a polynomial function over some special finite commutative local rings were obtained.     

Eigenvalue and stability of singular differential delay systems

The eigenvalue and the stability of singular differential systems with delay are considered. Firstly we investigate some properties of the eigenvalue, then give the exact exponential estimation for the fundamental solution, and finally discuss the necessary and sufficient condition of uniform asymptotic stability.     

p型导电掺In的SnO_2薄膜的制备及表征

采用溶胶 凝胶提拉法成功地制备了p型导电掺In的SnO2 薄膜 .x射线衍射测试结果表明 ,掺In的SnO2 薄膜保持SnO2 的金红石结构 .吸收谱测试结果表明 ,掺In的SnO2 禁带宽度为 3 8eV .霍尔测量结果表明 ,空穴浓度与热处理温度有很大的关系 ,5 2 5℃为最佳热处理的温度 .铟锡原子比在 0 0 5— 0 2 0范围内 ,空穴的浓度与In的含量有直接的关系 ,并随In含量的增加而增加
